I thought I might post a short blog that is in the form of a quiz question, with the answer to post in a day or so.
There is a former National Football League head coach who had as his offensive coordinator and as his defensive coordinator two men who both went on to be head coaches themselves.
So far, that could apply to a number of teams and coaching staffs.
But in this very rare case, all three coaches were inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
What was the team that had all three on staff, and who were the three coaches?
There is a reason behind the question, which will be given as part of the answer.

Hi, Jim, I’m guessing here, but Bill Walsh?
I’m going to say that Paul Brown was the head coach, Bill Walsh was his offensive coordinator and Don Shula was his defensive coordinator. Hopefully I win!
No Shula played for Brown before he was traded Baltimore, but I’m not sure what coaches it could be
I am thinking the San Diego Chargers under Sid Gillman with Chuck Noll and Bill Walsh??
Jim Lee Howell was head coach, Vince Lombardi was OC and Tom landry was DC for the New York Giants
