This will be my last blog entry – although I guess maybe I could come back maybe as a guest way, way in the future. It has been a little over a year and all of the fans have gotten an opportunity to get to know me and understand what I have going on in my head and off the head. I think I should allow someone else the opportunity to do so. Good luck to whoever that ends up being. It’s been great getting to know all of your through your messages. I appreciate everybody. I am going to miss it. It’s become an enjoyable part of my career, but I can’t be stingy. I have to share the wonderful internet fans with someone else. So, again, this will be my last one, but I might peek my head back into the blog every now and then.
First day of camp was great. Personally, I was a little rusty, but I’m starting to get back into the swing of things, but it was a lot of fun to get back out there for practice. One great thing about this time of year is that there are endless possibilities. We have high expectations and stuff.
I haven’t gotten a good chance to look at the new rookies and free agents yet. I imagine that they are getting acclimated to the NFL life and the mile-high altitude.
Tomorrow is the unveiling of the statue at the Darrent Williams Memorial Teen Center. I am looking quite forward to that. Everybody knows how involved I’ve been in that and how close Darrent and I were. May 29 is official grand opening of the Teen Center. I’ve been in there and it looks amazing. There’s a big mural painted of D. Will and it has a quote from Nate Jackson next to it which is very nice. I’m just ecstatic about being a part of something so big and so great. I think the Teen Center is going to be an asset to the Denver community for many years to come. It just feels great to be a part of something so significant.
One of our other bloggers, Andrew Mason, who started a new job with the Carolina Panthers, so I’d like to extend my congratulations to him. I want to keep everybody who read his blog aware of what’s going on with him.
The wedding – I think I talked about it last time – I actually went to it and it was a lot of fun. It was good to see a lot of my old college teammates. The reception is always the best part, which I think I’ve said before. It did not let me down. Drunk people dancing is always great. I really enjoyed myself. I was in the wedding, so I had some responsibility which was okay I guess. For the most part, I just enjoyed having fun and the wedding was beautiful. I actually had another friend get married the same weekend – another one of my college teammates - I wasn’t able to make it to his wedding, but congratulations to D’Qwell Jackson of the Clevelend Browns. It was a great day. I enjoyed it.
So, again, thanks everybody for all of your help and participation. It’s been great!
All ready!

Can we trade Colbert back to the Panthers for Andrew Mason? I am going to miss his coverage this year…
But congratulations Mr. Foxworth! I am glad this has been a good offseason for you. Keep up the hard work on the field! One question though, outside regular team training and workouts, have you done anything significant training wise on your own? We often hear stories of John Lynch and Champ Bailey putting in the extra hours to stay in prime condition, I am just curious if any other members of the secondary do so as well. Thanks and good luck this year!
- Go Broncos!
Thanks Fox !!! This blog was great. I am looking foward to see pics of the D-Will statue. I was happy to see some pics of QB camp..Almost time for training camp(2 months)…..It looks as if you have a battle for nickle with Karl Paymah and Jack Williams. It should be fun to watch. Ofcourse I will be rooting for you to win… I am going to the Mile High City from Rhode Island when Camp opens. So I might see ya there haha.
Thanks again for letting us get to know you off the field bro.
All Ready !
Fox we will miss your blog, and I hope that the person that takes over does it as well as you did. Hope you have a great year, and I just might chech out Andrew over at the Panthers site.
Thanks Foxy,
I loved reading all of your blogs, as you are by far my favorite blogger!!
Have a kick ass season and I will be cheering my ass off for you guys from section 503 lol!!!!
Mason is a traitor…you don’t pledge allegiance to a team and then take a job elsewhere.
you can if your fired by the team you originally pledged to
Hey “tomnalen36,” Mason was let go and didn’t leave on his own terms. I don’t care what allegiance he pledged, people gotta work and make a living. Kuddos to Mason for getting on board with the Panthers.
Fox, thanks for the blog. We all enjoyed your insight. It’s been fun reading.
Hey Fox!
How exciting that the Darrent Williams Teen Center is finally opening up!!
I’m pretty bummed that this is your last blog.
Hopefully we can get someone in here as entertaining as you!! You are one of my favorite Broncos so its definitely sad to see you leaving the blog. Oh well, I guess time has to march on. Just know that you’re always gonna have a special place in my football heart.
Good luck this season!! See ya at training camp!!
Nicole
tomnalen36,
What should Mason do? Should he become a homeless man on the streets in Denver and beg for money? You need to learn some common sense. The Broncos let HIM go, he didn’t leave on purpose.
Go visit http://www.milehighreport.com and read the nice “goodbye” from Mason to us Bronco fans. The dude is a good guy, but even good guys need to EAT and pay their bills. Don’t be such a Bonehead. lol
thanks for all the thoughts Dom…..and thanks for putting in so much work to keep D-Will’s spirit alive!!!
Thanks for the insights DF. These blogs have been great. I hope you have a strong year followed by a new contract to stay in Denver for a while.
Best wishes,
AC
Hey Fox,
So sad to see you leaving the blog. :o(. But I’m most excited that your staying in Denver for another year. Can’t wait to see how this season turns out.
I’m also very excited about the Teen Center. I know he’d be very proud of all the work that has gone into it. Wow, I miss that kid.
Hey, have a great training camp, ok? And thank you for the blog. It’s been so neat getting to know that different side of you. We love who you are on the field and we are even more impressed with who you are off the field.
Keep up the fantasic work, Fox. God Bless.
All Ready!

i am so sad its your last blog!
hey fox, thanks for the great blogs throughout the past year, i’ll miss hearing about your everyday life and getting to know you outside of football. good luck this year. we’ll miss you.
Hello Mr. Foxworth, I’m sad to hear that this may be your last blog. I have enjoyed reading your entries. I also appreciate all that you and your fellow players have done with regards to the Darrent Williams Teen Center. Darrent Williams will always be remembered and will be a Bronco forever. I’m looking forward to you and your teammates being on the field again and back to your winning ways.
Thanks, Domonique. It was always fun to read your blogs and I looked forward to them every week. Hopefully, you select someone stellar to take your place. Adeus (from these posts anyway).
Fox,
Don’t leave us. First Mason now you. What are us fans going to do?
Thanks for all the great blogs. It has been a pleasure learning more about you. We wish you all the best this year and since this is my last chance… PLEASE PUT RIVERS ON HIS BUTT!!!!!
What is the Nate Jackson’s qoute at D. Will’s painting? Anyone know?
Hey Fox,
THANK YOU!
Hey Fox,
THANK YOU!
I simply wanted to say thank you for taking the time to visit and speak with the fans. Again, not many organizations do that for their fan base.
You took some heat from fans over the year and you handled it with professionalism and grace. Fox, that’s why people love you. It’s not just because you wear the orange and blue. It’s because you care! You care about the community, your teammates, our organization and most importantly, you care about the opportunity that you have had in the NFL. IT SHOWS!
Fox, I wish you the very best training camp. You’ve earned a spot on this team. Go out there and take care of business.
Seeings, I won’t be able to write to you any longer. I want to send the very best of wishes to you and your loved ones.
GO GET EM’ FOX! HANDLE YOUR BUSINESS! - - ALL READY!
Foxworth,
Wow, man, you’ve been great with the blogs. I don’t respond to all of them but I do read most of them. You have been great on these blogs and it’s a shame that you’re stepping down. I mean isn’t there enough room in that locker room for 2 players to have consistent blogs? You should be able to keep doing this. Anyway, you’ve been great all last year and I know that you are the quality player that are because you wouldn’t be there. Especially the way you came in with D. Williams. Happy to hear about the Teen Center, you’re right it’s nice that nobody forgot him. Man he had his whole future in front of him. But remember that you came in right behind him and we’re expecting great things from you this season. I’d really like to see you on the starting defense. I hope the best for you and don’t forget later in the season after some tough loss that we’ll probably have that a lot of people support you and the goal is the CHAMPIONSHIP!! So don’t ever get to down when you can always get back up. Go Broncos!! There is no reason not to believe we can win it all this year.
Fox we will miss your weekly updates, and know that you are totally committed to the game of football, which we know is your first priority. I keep saying that many folks do have the intellectual ability, football prowess as a cornerback, and the academic skills to have accomplished all that you have. I hope you are here for a long time, but as Mason had to make a move for his best interest, we know that if the broncos don’t play right, you will have to take care of your business. For now we can’t wait until the season begins so we can see the whole team on the field and wearing the blue and orange, and kick oaklands *&*%)s. Take the corner spot this year.

You have set the bar high for the next guy, Foxworth.
As I have said many times before, you have made a whole bunch of fans via this blog. And I am one of them. If I make it out from SF for a game this year, maybe for my bachelor party, I will make sure to cheer loud for you.
Best wishes for success on and off the field.
This will be my last comment on the blog until we get some people, bworth reading. Mason now fox it’s going down hill quickly. Jim do us a favor and stick to V.P and doing what ever it is you do, becuase your blog is boring and is not in touch with working bronco fans.
P.S may be we can get a eddie royal to take over?
Thanks for being a connection to the team. I am glad you are still a Bronco. You are a man of character and this team can never have too much character. Have a good year.
The one Bronco fan i Norway is sad to see you leave the Blogg, come back and say hi in the future man. Who ever will fill your shoes in the blogging world, I DONT KNOW??? work hard in camp, and remember it is when its at its worst that things are improving!! See you on the TV!
Peace for now…
Tor
Gonna miss you, Foxy! I have admired you both on and off the field. I’m glad you’re still here; you’re really an important cog on the team. Champ made the comment that he can now see why they drafted three CBs in 2005. The Broncos scored a bull’s eye with the three of you.
Say, since they’re apparently handing out nicknames in camp now (Clady is
“Sweet Feet,” I hear), why don’t you take “Fast Eddie” back to camp with you for you-know-who?
Foxy,
Im sad this is your last blog. I love reading your view on whats going on, on and off the field. Im going to miss it for sure!
Im super excited for the Teen Center also, I think it’s amazing how we have turned this tragedy into something productive for the community. Ive seen pictures of the statue and it looks amazing!!! I cant wait to see the rest of the building.
You’ve done such a good job keeping us fans updated on your day to day life and what you have been up to. I just want to thank you for letting us in, it was fun and I enjoyed reading every bit of it!
Love ya!
Ashley
Thanks for the blog memories Fox!
In case some of you have forgotten, Mason was a die hard Tampa Bay Bucs fan ! He worked for the Broncos and did a great job, glad he caught on with Carolina. Best of luck to him!
Going to miss you Fox. This site seems to be pretty determined to slide into absolute worthlessness. “Well, let’s see… If we remove all the day-of coverage and insight and replace them with days-old news and video of EVERYTHING we mention… That’s good too, right?”
Oh well, it’s not like I’m going to stop reading the site, but it’s probably going down to once a week or less.
That said, who do we fans want to see take over this blog? I’d be interested to have a window to Clady’s maturation process.
Thanks for the blogs. I enjoyed reading every blog that you wrote. Good luck in training camp and for the winning season that the broncos will have this year.
Thanks so much, and good luck this next season and congrats about the teen center! I’ll truly miss my friends making fun of me for blogging here.

had to fix my crazy punctuation
Fox - thanks for all your blogging time but I am sure you will put it to good use elsewhere. Dynamos like you always do.
Mr. Foxworth,
If you are still reading these responses, I wanted to say on behalf of Broncos fans everywhere, we are extremely proud of you, and we are grateful to have such a classy, quality individual represent our beloved Broncos. I have been reading coverage of the opening of the Darrent Williams Memorial Center. Having watched your involvement from Day 1, I think it is a travesty that all of the ESPN type coverage focuses on arrests, steroids, Spygate, etc. You have done an incredible thing for your community. What’s more, you have honored your friend and teammate. The dedication and respect you have shown through your work is what sports should be about. We all miss DWill, but you have honored your friend while also helping to heal a community. Again, thank you on behalf of all of us. Here’s hoping the team does what it takes to keep you here for the rest of your career!
Foxy,
Thanks for all the time you put into the blogs. It’s always great to hear the personal side of the players we watch on television. Plus, it think you have more things going on in your life than any other player on the team, which always makes for entertaining blogs! I’m incredibly happy that you stayed with the Broncos and I hope you thrive more this year than ever. Good luck this season and thanks for all the work you have done in the community.
- Matt
Domonique,
My cousin told me you spoke at a football camp that he went to. Thats really cool. He said you were a great speaker and a good guy and on behalf of my cousin ( he’s a Texans fan!) and all of Broncos Country, Thank You!
Domonique,
I can,t wait for the season to begin. Me and my friends believe your one of the best defensive backs in the league. My friend is a cowboys fan. He said he would take you over Pacman Jones any day. But to bad for him cause your on the best football team in the nation. You even give Tom Brady nightmares, you and the rest of the Defensive backs.
_GO DENVER
Foxy,
If you come back to read this now that you’ve been traded to the Falcons, know that we really appreciate all you’ve done for us and we wish you the best of luck in the future.
Keep up the great work on and off the field, you truly are a great role model.
Good luck!
I miss Dominic
