Hey Fox,

I hope your well. I miss you guys so much. And thank you for your condolences.

In reading the responses to your entry, I AGREE WITH Broncfalls 100%!!!! I couldnt've said it better myself.

...He’s does what every franchise hopes their players do. Even though he isn’t on the field, he represents the Broncos every time he opens his mouth, makes a commitment etc. This guy has NEVER!!! let this organization down...

Well written.

Now, I know these teams make moves that they feel are best for the organization and all, but boy, the thought of being without Fox? That's just crazy. A classy guy with a wholesome attitude along with respect and passion for the game. Not to mention talent. It doesn't get any better than that...

Shelbo Bronco, your great, man.

Thank you to all for your condolences.

All Ready!

*When I ran the spellcheck on my computer, it kept suggesting that Foxworth should be spelled FOXWORTHY. Enough said.

i disagree with what shelbo says..i think we are fortunate to have you as a third corner because on almost any other team you would be a first or second corner, so i hope that we can hold on to you

I can't wait to see the team shape up this year. I think there is going to be something special on offense and defense. I also think the coaches got a head-check themselves last year, because many games were lost because of questionable game calling and too many shifting players. I think Fox so critical to this defensive secondary, and if he's not on the team, they will have to bring in another nickle that can possible match. Fox played every position in the secondary last year-who else did that?

This team is gonna be hot. Cutler is improving, Marshall is good to go, the running game is solid, and so are linebackers. The offense has got to improve also, as there were about 14 picks last year, 4 or 5 funbles from the QB, and some blocking issues. If the line is more solid, that will give LBs and CB/Ss time to cover their for 2-3 seconds, and hopefully line can force a turnover. This team is a playoff team every year. It depends if coaches can gain their trust back, and if they can, it will hard for teams to handle them. Like I said, this team reminds me of my college team- the Canes.

I'm new to this blog thing, but I'm trying to get in touch with ANYONE who'd be willing to help out with some community service type work...I thought I'd look here in hopes to possibly recruit some Broncos players (a great way for good PR & to inspire at-risk kids that they CAN make a difference. And who better to start with than Dominique Foxworth?? Now, I have to say, being from Wisconsin I'm a born & bred Packer fan, but the Broncos have made their way into my heart:) Now back to biz-nass...

I'm in AmeriCorps, which is much like the Peace Corps, only in the US. We work with at-risk youth & low-income communities. My teammate & I are organizing a Community Health Fair, to educate low-income families & at-risk youth more on nutrition, substance abuse, fire safety, suicide awareness, self esteem, and PHYSICAL ACTIVITY. Being an athlete myself, sports have always been a huge part of my life. I have learned the value of teamwork, never giving up, and pushing myself to the limit. These are lessons that many at-risk youth NEED, and often times they follow the examples of athletes who portray the negative (substance abuse, greed, violence, etc.), instead of the athletes who really DO focus much of their time on community involvement, and charity work (like Dominique!)!

This Health Fair will take place on Saturday, April 19th from 10-2 at Rude Recreation Center (Decatur St. & W. 13th Ave) in Denver. Come and check it out, get some free stuff, etc.

SO, if anyone knows of a way I can get in touch with ANY players who would be interested in helping out kids without many opportunities in their neighborhood, PLEASE CONTACT ME! thanks

If you folks really understand the game some of your blogs wouldn't he here. Fox was drafted in the 3d rd in 2005, and if you look at all of the cormers that drafted before him that year, he outplayed them. Look at his numbers on the bronco site and compare. If fact, Paymah was drafted before him, and Fox won a starting job, sharing with Darrent in that year. In 2006 he got more time to start and play because of injuries, and contributed. well. What games do you folks watch. 2007 was not one of his best years, in terms of numbers because they had him playing CB, nickel, SS and FS. What other CB in the league does that much in one game as he did many times. I totally confused as to how some of the silly bronco fans call it here. When I was in college in Miami, we had players that were good, but only at one position. We could have use Fox there and not at MD. He is vauble to the team, and if they want to keep some continuity, they will sign him long-term. If not, guarantee he plays for a contender. It will be more problems in the secondary because we're getting beat some with Dre, on occassion Champ.
Many fans don't really appreciate players until they are gone. I wish the best for Fox. I go to all of the home games, and he's classy on and off the field. 2007 they tried to play Paymah more, and that has nothing to do with Fox. Maybe they want to see what they have in Paymah, since he didn't play much the first two years except on ST, to see if trading Fox is good to go. We lose if Fox is traded, and someone else gains.
He's been the most consistent player on the field, and if you bread down the numbers from the 2005 team, contributed more than anyone else. Go broncos and bowling in 2008.

Hello bronco20, I know what you are saying about our need for improvement. About Al Wilson; yes he's talking to Detroit and to Indy. I don't know exactly when the Doctor's cleared him but I do know that he's been completely cleared to play by his own medical experts. I do not know if he will pass the team physical but I can only imagine that he thinks he can. I think that Shanahan is having a problem talking to Wilson because he let Jim Bates get rid of him. I would hope that the head coach has enough humility to tell Al that it was a mistake that should not have happened. Even if Al couldn't have played all year, his presence on the sidelines could have meant a great deal. Do you think that Al Wilson's role was as pivotal as everyone else? If so should the Broncos bring him back or do you think the relationship between Wilson and the team has been damaged beyond repair? I also agree with you about the state of the lineman in the draft. Have you heard about the OG from Virginia? His name is Branden Albert. He's 6-6 1/2 and weighs 320 lbs. He's a natural guard but he did play LT a couple of time this year. Some scouts say that this kid is so physically gifted that he could easily make the move to LT. If not he can help Holland man the Guard position. I though that Holland did a great job this year and nobody talked about it. Who else do you have your eye on? And since we are taking up space on his blog site I would like to ask Mr. Foxworth who has caught his eye in this draft class. I don't need him to state it in relation to what the Broncos need but who the better picks might be from a players standpoint.

All Ready! Dominate!

Ok, hopefully shelbo doesn't read these posts and realize somebody hacked his password. I find it hard to believe he has recanted after his little rant. Anyway, Fox it was a crappy year filled with crap. Sometimes you win sometimes half your team is injured. All I can say is you are a class guy and there are a TON of us fans that will be pissed-off beyond belief if you don't re-sign with us.

thxs conersfan, hey i have no problem admiting when im wrong, thats the way my parents raised me ya know...so im curious to see what the rest of the broncos fans think we will draft with the 12th pick? i think we should try to get Sedrick Ellis out of USC, the guy is a beast, personally i think he is better than Dorsey from LSU. but knowing our luck he will be long gone by then. i would say they should trade up to get him but when you do that you have to give them WAY too much money to get them to show up for training camp.ie; JaMarcus Russell he got 30million in guaranted money with a total mof 60+million. 30 million for a guy that in my opinion wont be a 30 million dollar player.
