Jay Cutler and Brandon Marshall already have their tickets to the NFL’s annual all-star game, but now they’ll have a little company.

Casey Wiegmann will now join them in the 2009 Pro Bowl in February. He was listed as the first alternate at center, but with Kevin Mawae of the Titans bowing out of the game due to his torn triceps muscle, Wiegmann steps into the lineup.
This marks the first trip to the Pro Bowl for Wiegmann, who just wrapped up his 13th year in the league and first with the Broncos. He has started 127 consecutive games, the longest active streak among centers in the NFL.
The game will be played on Sunday, Feb. 8, at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu at 2:30 p.m. MST and will be televised by NBC.

yes, at least one of great OL his going
in my opinion they all should have gone.
Best OL In The NFL.
Great, at least one great denver linemen will go!
Congrats to #62!! Don’t want to spoil this moment but Clady should be going… just a complete shame he didn’t make it.
And I couldn’t agree more… we had one heck of an OL this year. Outstanding work, keep it up for this next season. You hit it right on luigi303… they all should’ve gone.
With faith…
GO BRONCOS in ’09!!!!
Congratz Wiegmann glad to see a big fella from Denver headed down to Hawaii Ryan Clady should of made it no questions asked its a shame but im sure he will next year i hope Big #62 comesback next year since i have been hearing that hes thinking about retirement
Hell Yeah!!
I played against a teamate of his, Aaron Kampman from APB.
Talk about a brilliant free agent acquisition…Shanny had things changing…but lets hope Josh can mesh with Cutler, that will be the ultimate key, and Nolan needs to get hands on again.
I thought Harris and Clady were Pro Bowl level as well.
OUR WHOLE O-LINE SHOULD BE THERE!!!!!!!
HAMILTON, WEIGMANN, KUPER, CLADY & HARRIS. ALL STUDS!!!!!
CAN’T WAIT TILL NEXT YEAR.
GO BRONCOS!!!!!!!! GONNA PUT A BEAT DOWN ON SD.
Congrats Wiegmann, good to hear we are getting some representation for the Best O-Line in the NFL
Congrats Casey – finally getting the respect you deserve now that you’re sporing the Broncos colors
Congrats to my fellow Iowan!!! WTG!!!!
Stay one more year for the Broncos Casey!
This News Just made my day. Although Tom Nalen is/was great Casey Wiegman is now the True Anchor of that line. For the time Being Anyway.
It would suck if they both retired this offseason.
Anyway Congrats Casey!!!
Congrats Casey, you and Jay get another game to anchor together.
Everyone hear that Mike Nolan is our new D Coordinator! This could be great!
I love the Nolan hire! This is just what we need. I dont like the idea of Jeremy Bates being a Raider as Rocky Mountain News is reporting that he will be interviewed there. Congrats to ya Casey!
so happy we picked this guy up, i hope this factors into his decision to stay with us for another year.
Congratulations Casey
Sweet… now we can score and make plays w/ just Broncos touching the ball…. Casey snaps it Jay, Jay throws it to Brandon… Touchdown….
I just think that is sorta cool when you think about it…
1.9 sacks per pass play is not good or possible
Congrats Casey, this is very well deserved and as everyone else has said, more of our O-line should be going. now i’m hoping this will help Casey make his mind up and stay with this Great Denver team for a few more years.
Keeping the Faith
Congrats to the big fella Wiegmann, he deserves this no doubt. I can’t believe he’s never been voted to Hawaii. I remember when he was with KC. I hated watching our Broncs play the Chiefs twice a year cause this guy was always knocking our defenders on their backsides. Glad he’s on our side now.
But yeah, it’s good to see him finally get rewarded for a fantastic career!
Clady, Harris, and Kuper should all be there next year and for many years to come.
Yeah, this is good for Caey and I wish him well, but no one can ever replace Nalen. I’m being a downer, sorry. I hope he stays one more year this line has great chemistry, Cograts Casey!!!
GO BRONCOS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Congratulations to Wiegmann! It’s like our season went, you never know when someone will go down and it’s your time.
Go Broncos ’09
Outstanding! Our leader on the o-line gets the recognition he deserves!
I AM JACKS COMPLETE LACK OF SUPRISE!
I Knew you would be there one way or another GREAT JOB ! You deserve it! Casey Wiegmann you should stay and get a SB ring ! It could be right around the corner.
GO BRONCOS ! ! !
hey guys our new d coordinator is mike nolan, ex coach of the 49ers.
Well, the NFL did one thing right with the move to place Wiegmann on the team. However, it’s a travesty that our entire line isn’t there. What more does Ryan Clady have to do? I guess that’s why I don’t watch the Pro Bowl, it’s just a popularity contest.
Like Fight Clup eh Mr Monodono? lol
I AM JACKS MOVIE
Who remembers he good old days, When a hand full of Broncos would go to the Pro bowl? I think they are coming back!
Congrats Casey #62! I like the point about scoring with only Broncos!
Great Job 62! Now, NFL name Ryan Clady to please!
Good Job Casey. Well deserved.
I sure hope you decide to play another year or two or three next year Mr. Wiegmann. You not only played outstanding football this season as an anchor for a young offensive line, but admirably filled the shoes of Mr. Tom Nalen, who is a legend in these parts. Watching you decidedly handle Kris Jenkins who had been wrecking havoc all season in the game at the Jets this season was a thing of beauty. You deserve the Pro Bowl bid for your work this season and your career accomplishments. Herm Edwards and Carl Peterson were crazy to let you go. No wonder why they hired Scott Pioli. He never would have released you!
Enjoy Hawaii!
Congratulations Casey Wiegmann! Truly and honor well deserved ! You stepped in and anchored a great unit for the Broncos this year. Enjoy the Pro Bowl!
I truly believe that our entire o-line should have went or al least Harris and Clady
