And in the Atlanta game and Houston game we were one play away with our Defense in stopping their Offense and getting another opportunity to get some points with PFM. We were that close and could easily be 12-1. Our D is much improved with some changes in personnel through the second part of our season. We’re in prime position to get a bye week. HECK YES, GOTTA LOVE IT!!!

Best thing about this year……..we’ve taken control of our own destiny all season and we’re charging into the playoffs, not backing in like last year……..depending on other teams to lose.

It was awesome to see batch lead the steelers down the field for the win last night……….and stick it to the over-rated ravens. I feel pretty confident that we’ll beat them in their house. It’s a three horse race for the coveted 2nd AFC seed and the bye. It’s gonna get interesting. Pats have 2 tough games coming up against the Texans and 49er’s so I think that is our chance to take over sole possesion of the 2nd spot…..given we win out……..which I can easily see happening. There’s no way we should lose to Oak, Browns or Chiefs.

Main thing is that we’ve punched our ticket to the dance and now we get to practice our moves and get ready to take on whoever we need to play.

wow bay, that is shear craziness about Man U…..but I can totally see it. NFL would be slaughtered by Soccer in the UK and Europe, which is why I don’t think the league should ever set up shop there……..not to mention the logistics. Our ideas of what football is couldn’t be further apart! lol

BT: Since you mentioned Cookie, here’s your Floyd Little/Cokie Gilkchrist story:

It was the first pre-season after the first “Super Bowl” (Trivia fact to make a few bucks: The NY Jets won the first Super Bowl, the first two AFL/NFL championship games were called “The NFL/AFL Championship game”.).
The previous week the Broncos had beat the Vikings to be the first AFL team to beat an NFL team. This week it was the Detroit Lions in Denver. Alex Karras if the Lions said that if the Broncos beat them that he’d walk back to Detroit. It was late in the game and it looked loikie the BNroincos were going to win. Flody ran the ball up the middle and Karras took a cheap shot at Floyd. Cookie wasn’t to pleased at this and Karras got the wrong end of Cookies anger. Best of all, Broncos won to make them the first AFL to win back-to-back games against NFL teams. Karras decided to take the plane ratrher than walk.
I’ll tell you a Steve Tensi story some day.
