I THINK ITS A GOOD THING TO BRING IN A GUY LIKE JOHN BECAUSE HE HAS EXPERIENCED WINNING. AND KNOWS WHAT IT TAKES TO DO THAT. THIS YEAR WAS HORRIBLE BUT I AM NOT A BANWAGON I STICK TO MY TEAM NO MATTER WHAT. AT LEAST WE GOT #2 IN THE FIRST ROUND DRAFT. WHO DO YOU THINK WE SHOULD GET? SOMEONE ON DEFDENCE OR OFFENCE? IF SO WHY?? ALSO TRADE ORTON HE WAS GOOD ONLY FOR HIMSELF IT DIDN'T WIN US ANY GAMES. TRADE HIM FOR A SECOND ROUND PICK. SORRY ORTON BUT WE NEED WINS.

Wow. John Elway. From the first day we got him right up to today he never let us down(well he didn't play too well in the SB vs 49ers)but he has been magnificent and there will be ups and downs and I often see Broncos through"rose colored glasses" but this is such a positive step for us.TY Pat Bowlen you are one of the great owners in sport good work.GO BRONCOS!!BTW after head coach don't we have to take care of Champ?

I agree with trading Orton. A 2nd rounder would be great value for him, not to mention a boon for a flagging roster. He was not a franchise quarterback. Franchise quarterbacks don't cough up the ball repeatedly when the game is on the line. Stats mean nothing other than you want him in fantasy football.

I just now looked up Da`Qaun Bowers and found that he is enering the draft. The story showed his stats and awards. But sad to see he lost his father before the season. So he overcame adversity and conqeured. What he went through this year was a very tough thing to go through.

I liked what I heard from Elway. The next HC shouldn't and can't be a control freak because the big decisions will be a three way decision is what I'm hearing which is the way it should be when they are deciding the direction of the team, big trades, whether to pay Champ etc etc. I don't think a coach like Gruden would fit in to this type system but a smart coordinator like one of the several who will interview should be perfect with most of his efforts directed toward coaching rather than personnel decisions. I like what is happening.
