The 2011 NFL Draft starts tonight, so here’s one final look at how the mocks see Denver’s pick.
At NFL.com, it’s a virtual consensus that Denver will snag Alabama defensive lineman Marcell Dareus at No. 2. The only dissenter is Mike Mayock, who sees Texas A&M linebacker Von Miller as the pick.
ESPN’s Mel Kiper agrees with Mayock, predicting Miller will go off the board at No. 2. His counterpart with the Worldwide Leader, Todd McShay, took the easy route and went with three options for the selection. He stands by his pick all along and goes with Dareus, but he says scenario two is Miller, and scenario three is a quarterback.
As for Sports Illustrated, Peter King chimes in with his opinion — he sees Dareus headed to Denver. SI.com’s Don Banks agrees.
At CBSSports.com, it’s a similar situation to NFL.com. It’s a near consensus that Dareus will don orange and blue — at least according to Chad Reuter, Rob Rang and Pete Prisco. But Clark Judge predicts the selection will be Miller.
At FoxSports.com, a new name enters the fold. Peter Schrager thinks the Broncos will take LSU cornerback Patrick Peterson with the No. 2 overall pick. Mike O’Hara and WalterFootball.com both predict Miller, while Scout.com and Adam Caplan believe it’s Dareus. Former NFL head coach Brian Billick gets his opinion out there as well, and he goes with Dareus.

I hear that bay. to me its all about the draft. not all this other nonsense that is shrouded in uncertainty. I mean seriously, like you say, the lockout is done now and as soon as tomorrow it could be back on. Its like wth. This is all just stupid. Just a bunch of back and forth nonsense. Judge rulings, stays, all that crap is all irrelecant because the big picture that will make things permanent is the CBA and apparently they dont wanna talk about the CBA again until May 16 cuz 4 days of negotiating was just soooooooo tough they need to recharge thier batteries….LAME. TRB out…

It is all just a last minute SMOKESCREEN talking about Miller! I wish we would pick him, but that is only if Dareus goes #1 overall.
I still like PP or Miller time the MOST, and I think they are just causing HIPE to cause HIPE!!! The media loves to stroke their own meat and create their own BUZZ!!! If you are like me at all you can easily see right through most media BS!!! LMAO!!!
By the way if the Broncos pick a QB = I’ll PUKE!!! and then I might cut the nuts off the three headed monster!!! LOL
Klis has really thrown a monkey wrench in my contest entry. As you all know I always claim he has more inside info on the Broncos than just about anybody, and here he decides to go Von Miller now, which by the way I was the first one to support here as a second option about a month ago and took a lot of flack for it because he “doesn’t fit the 43 scheme.”
Anyhow, it would of been a lot simpler had I posted my entry a week ago, LOL.

So its looking like Miller huh? interesting. So bay you are saying if you go with MIller first in your Mock, you will go Paea at 36? really? you have been the most adamant that he wont make it to the 2nd round… Interesting.
I am still believing in PP. Also Miller is currently the option but if they get a deal that they like more than miller, they will trade back. Also Miller is a very inticing name for teams like Bills and Cards. So by saying Millers the guy last minute they might wanna trade up thereby giving the broncos a partner to trade back. Like people said. This is all a poker game and I am not sold on anything. For them to have kept miller so close to the vest for months but then it leaks in the last like 2 or so days….convinient….TRB out…
