After a rookie season that got Von Miller voted into the Pro Bowl, fans have a chance to give the Bronco another honor.
Miller is one of five candidates for the Pepsi Rookie of the Year.
He’s nominated alongside Cincinnati QB Andy Dalton, Carolina QB Cam Newton, Arizona CB Patrick Peterson and San Francisco OLB Aldon Smith. Voting is now open.
Miller started all 15 games he played and tied Denver’s single-season rookie sack record with a team-high 11.5 quarterback takedowns, first among AFC rookies in 2011 and tied for third overall in the conference.
He was one of six NFL players to record a half sack in at least 10 games.
In his first Pro Bowl, Miller was voted a starter at outside linebacker for the AFC squad. The second overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, Miller was nominated for Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week three times.
