Vote for the Greatest Bronco

July 13th, 2011 - 2:20pm by Gray Caldwell

FOX Sports is running a poll right now to figure out who the greatest Bronco of all time is.

The options: John Elway, Shannon Sharpe, Floyd Little, Gary Zimmerman and Terrell Davis.

Four of the five are Pro Football Hall of Famers, and many continue to argue for the fifth to join them in Canton, Ohio. What do you think?

Not even a discussion in my opinion. What argument could be made that John Elway was not the best Bronco of all time.

Elway obviously! Who could even come close to having given everything he had for 16 years to the only NFL team he ever played on, the Denver Broncos. Just ask Little, Sharpe, Zimmerman or TD who they think is the greatest Bronco of all time and you’ll have your answer, John Elway. He played with the Broncos more than twice as long as Little or TD did and didn’t play on other teams like Zimmerman and Sharpe did, which makes him the most ultimate orange and blue bleeding player we ever had, not to mention the 5 out of 6 SBs he took us to… We really must be trying to kill time here Gray, haha.

    ELWAY, No questions asked.

Not even close….Elway is the man!!!!!!!!!!!!

They would have been better served as saying “Besides John Elway” who is the greatest Bronco of all time. Zimmerman came from Minnesota, Sharpe left for Baltimore- So TD or Floyd! LOL

  6. brian_schneider says:

I think the Baltimore Colts..for stinking so badly that Elway would rather play baseball than play for them. LOL!

John was an excptional player in every phase of the game, but, if the was no Bronco HOF Floyd Little, there never would have been John Elway, or any other name you pick, Denver Bronco from xxxx to yyyy. Floyd truly kept the Broncos from either folding or moving. He doesn’t have John’s well deserved sats, but, without a doubt, Floyd Little is THE FRANCHISE!!!

The real question is, How is it Randy Gradishar didn’t make this list?
