After leading the Broncos to a comeback victory in his first home start, Tim Tebow is in the running for several Week 16 awards.
For the second time this season, Tebow is up for Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week, and you can vote for the rookie’s comeback as the GMC Never Say Never Moment of the Week.
Denver trailed 17-0 at halftime, but Tebow accounted for two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to help lead his team to 24-23 victory. The quarterback completed 16-of-29 passes for 308 yards with one touchdown and one interception — good for a passer rating of 89.4 — and had 10 carries for 27 yards and one rushing TD.
He threw for the most yards by a Broncos rookie quarterback since John Elway passed for 345 yards against the Baltimore Colts in 1983. Frank Tripucka is the only other quarterback in franchise history to bring the Broncos back from that large of a halftime deficit (he did it twice — in 1960 and ’62).
Tebow’s 308 passing yards also tie for the most by a rookie signal-caller this season.

Hey melloo…Not sure if you know but after the game, if you leave out of Gate 10, the players come out of the tunnel on that side and some will stop to sign autographs. My brother and I were at the game last week and we waited around and he got Daniel Graham and Chris Kuper. The majority of the players just rode by in the golf carts but some of them (Royal, Colquitt, Graham, Kuper and a couple others) did stop. Not sure if that’s something that will interest you but I thought I’d share.

I just went to my first Bronco Home game against the Rams this year and yes the do sign autographs there at the main entrance where the team store is!! You will see a fenced in parking lot in front of the Bronco team store at the main entrance of Invesco and they ride out on golf carts to their car! Unfortunately most of the popular players like Tebow and Bailey and them guys apparently don’t sign much but Bannan, Larsen, Graham, and Prater all came out and signed everyones!! You might get lucky though with it being the last game of the season, I am sure that there will be more players signing so good luck and have a beer for me!!
Also I will add that it helps TREMENDOUSLY if you know the players faces with their names!!! All the players came out in golf carts and I got a few of them to stop because I knew their name and no one else there did so they stopped and signed some for me so do your homework and remember their faces if you don’t already which I am sure that most people on these blogs know all of them including myself!! Haha, I knew all our second stringers and third stringers names and faces and they stopped because I did!! Good luck!

I wish I could have gone to the game also. To see Tim Tebow start his first game at MileHigh would have been special. Especially him getting his first win. How awesome is that.

If you get to the game a couple hours early, go to the big long tent located on the south side of the stadium.
There you will find beer, warmth, maybe a band and a couple little tents there that you can stand in line and get player and cheerleader autographs.. It’s right by where the players come into the stadium on golf carts. It’s the place to be before the game…
You can find all kinds of people selling jerseys and all other Bronco stuff just walking around the stadium and up to Federal Blvd. I found a nice jersey and other stuff at the 16th street mall downtown. If you go there, have lunch at the Tilted Kilt, you wont be dissapointed…
Make sure to switch feet on your Thunder Making every couple minutes or soo.. I kept using my right foot too much and got injured…lol Also take an extra jacket or small cushion to put under your bum cause the seats get hard after an hour or two..

Tebow will win Rookie of the week 2nd time this year.Bradford has won it twice also,and will win Rookie of the Year.IMO.
Call me crazy but i believe we woulda had a strong chance to make the playoffs if we started Tebow at beginging of the season ala Ryan, Flacco, Sanchez, Stafford, Bradford, etc……AFC west was even for the first time in a long time…No real one good team…even the chiefs are like ehhhnn even tho they have done well. Sure orton had a probowl year…but thats all he did…pile on the yards but we couldn’t win or score…We also had no running game but u see how Tebow took care of that for us in recent weeks. Dual threat QBs just usually tend to give u a better chance to score…and if we had Tebow all year…more redzone trips woulda turned into TDs (like the last drive agaisnt Texans) … Like I always said, sure he would have some growing pains but I thought we shoulda been started him. He woulda gotten better as the year went on. Just glad he finally got his shot. And im glad he got his shot after McDaniels was fired because lord knows if he had succeeded like I think tebow would have…Josh would never have been fired and we needed him out of here badly lol..

Wow Caramello…Looks like the Texans are gonna have MY dream staff. Kubiak HC, Dennison OC/Oline Coach, and a guy like wade phillips as the DC. Man I was looking forward to Kubiak and Dennison. I miss that zone blocking the way Dennison executes it. Nothing is written in stone yet but this is disheartening. Kubiak is a Houston native so I know he wants to stay…he is close with the owners family down there too but call me selfish but I wanted him for us. Best of luck to him if thats how it plays out. If its not Kubiak…then I dont want ANY offensive minded HC. D minded only. Kubiak (and Dennison) was the only exception.
I know TRB. my mouth dropped when I saw this one. The fans want Kub gone but their fans aren’t like our fans. When we speak everyone listens including the owner. Maybe we can get Greg Williams like Bay has been saying. The only problem with that is the Saints will be making a deep run in the playoffs and that takes away some of our talk time with him. Esp if other qualified canidates become available.
Thanks for the update melloo, I won’t be disappointed at all if neither Kubiak or Phillips make it here, as I said often I have been seriously wary of us maybe going with Kubiak with all the Bronco ties, but I hope this stands true, and that doesn’t stop Dennison to come back and keep his Bronco legacy alive again as our OC, specially with Elway in the building. And aD minded HC like I alwasy wanted, Williams, Spewell or Rivera. So all this is like good news to me, but it’s not like it’s happened, nothing will be done until after Sunday with us or Houston, so still nervous about all that.
Bay I ordered the DVD today. Looking forward to see all three games especially the ACF game. It`s gonna be good.

Anyway, the tent everyone is talking about is a great place to hang out before the game. Last time I was there, 3 years ago, I got autographs from some big names that used to play for Denver. Gene Mingo, Steve Seoul, Larry Bronson… some oldies but goodies. lol You definitely shouldn’t miss out on that tent. You guys would love it.
Christmas was AWESOME for once. My aunt has gotten me a Bronco Christmas ornament since 2007 and this years was by far the best yet. This is the one for 2010 that I got.

I made her a photo album of a trip she & my dad (RIP) took back in ’91 over their 5 yr anniversary and obviously she shed a few tears. Don’t know how I’ll be able to top myself. lol

You will LOVE IT. For some reason the colors on the second half of the 77 game are much better than the first half, it’s like the sun was glaring early and with having to film between the sunny part and still being able to see the action in the shaded part they over expose the whole thing…77 technology, LOL, it makes it all that much more real like I said the other day.
Regardless it`s going to bring me back to them good ole days. When ROCK N ROLL is king and disco sucked HaHa11 I thought I`d throw that in there. The hair cuts in those days GEEESH!!

With Knowshon Moreno still recovering from a rib injury he suffered at Oakland two weeks ago, the Broncos may be forced to go the committee route again in the backfield to close out the season Sunday.
Moreno left Sunday’s victory over Houston after seven carries when he aggravated the injury. Interim coach Eric Studesville said Moreno could have come back into the game, but that he elected to stick with Correll Buckhalter and Lance Ball getting the work in the second half.
I think he would be the perfect guy to trade in the off season for much needed draft picks.
I`m all for it. Get a qaulity back is what we need.

Caramelloo – the tent OC referred is known as the Broncos Barn. Like he mentions lots of fun! Get there early before noon as food is discounted and bear is cheaper. It’s about $8.00 per person for admission. You will more than likely also hear “The Stampede” percussion group, who also perform along the sidelines during the game!
