Hello Bronco Nation.
Make room for a new fan. I have player allegience and I am a huge
4 year Tebow fan. Broncos made a great move to get him. I hope he
can take them to the promise land. I am on board with great Karma.
Go Broncos.

It seems as if Woody is agreeing with me and buying into the idea that Bowlen needs to improve his cash flow, here is part of what he says in today's mail bag installment when asked how Elway might get involved in the Bronco organization:

Here's how I read it. Now that Mike Shanahan is gone and McDaniels has spent time with Elway, the coach wants the old quarterback as an involved observer. The Broncos' front office would like to use John in helping market the team, which could use some of the old Elway magic. In truth, John was probably responsible for the current stadium - not only because of the two Super Bowls, but he was the out-front guy before the election to pass a tax to get the stadium constructed. It genuinely is The Stadium John Built. So I don't understand why Bowlen, or the city, doesn't put a sculpture of him out front. I don't get it, and people here shouldn't accept that snub. Ticket sales are declining in the club level and luxury boxes. The Broncos are no longer as popular as they were in town, for obvious reasons.

The last two sentences should come as a revelation to all the ones here who keep thinking the Broncos have absolutely no financial issues, that every thing is rosy since they have sold out for 40 years, etc, etc, etc... The reality of things is not always what it appears to be on the surface, Woody is right on this one, the Broncos are no longer as popular and they are not the money making machine they used to be, hence the drafting Tebow as I always thought was a great marketing move from Bowlen and bringing Elway in to help market the team would be for the same end, MONEY.

REMEMBER, WHETHER WE LIKE IT OR NOT, IT'S ALL ALWAYS ABOUT MONEY.

Now if Bowlen could only remember that by winning championships, money flows in like nobody's business, but to do that you have to spend money on your players, so in a perfect world, Pat sells 20% of Bronco shares to John, uses the cash inflow to pay the good players so we can keep them so we can start winning championships again, then the money flows in like it used to, and everybody is happy, specially I, LOL.

Cali, just like I said at the end of the last blog, Vincent is exactly the type of WR we were looking for to replace Marshall, but now that we got Thomas and having so many people to sign and so much trouble signing players long term, which is exactly why Vincent wants out by the way, I would say we are the longest shot of all the options to get Vincent if the Chargers do indeed trade him. Makes for good material for the media though.

Lol about my new exits. But yea I agree with Elway. That Margin exists for all QBs in college, so they all have to tighten it up. Same with WRs used to only getting 1 leg in bound. and yea, he has had more long throws in that video than Ortons whole career. Had to watch a pass only vid cuz Ive heard alot of dissing on his passing and on NFL network that he cant stretch the field. Looked like he could in that Video, and if he works at it. Will be better. At least thats the hope in Broncos Country lol. TRB out :-) .
