A fumble by Willis McGahee gave the Dolphins the ball at the Denver 40-yard line, and Miami took advantage.
A 14-yard run by Daniel Thomas got the ball to the Denver 23-yard line, and Brandon Marshall caught a 7-yard pass to put Miami in the red zone.
The defense held strong, however, and Miami nearly turned the ball over themselves to end the drive — Matt Moore fumbled the snap but fell on the ball to bring on Dan Carpenter for a 36-yard field goal.
It was a six-play, 22-yard drive, and the Dolphins lead 6-0 late in the second quarter.

Well we’re trying our best to give this game away. It’s pretty sad. Especially with the effort we’re seeing from TT. John Fox is absolutely worst coach in the NFL and should be fired tomorrow. Should’ve gone for the touchdown on 4th and 1 instead of another missed field goal. We have no receivers. We can’t hold on to the ball. Our O line can’t block. Penalties are killing us. This is an 0-5 team with their backup quarterback and we’re killing ourselves.
