What a thrill to watch the Broncos dominate a “good” team last night … never happened last year … shows they’re getting closer to where they want to be … guys were stepping up and contributing, some who have been somewhat transparent up to now – Virgil Green, Nate Irving, the punt returner, the whole defensive secondary … I firmly believe the Broncos have a great future … a moment of “hold your breath” when Manning hit his thumb, because we all know how much this team’s success is predicated on his success … we’ve got nowhere to go if he goes down … but the team appears resilient, and the schedule appears to ease up a bit … but you can’t let down for a minute in this league – ask the Chargers … who, by the way, are truly an enigma … the papers out here were brutal this morning … deservedly so … now they’re tied with the Raiders – who would have thought …
That game was beyond AMAZING!!! everything was clicking!! wow!!!! the Broncos are becoming a scary team.. running game + prolific passing game. and now defense is playing lights out…..
Thank you Broncos for making my week!!
The Bengals are a low scoring team the last 4 games, their O stinks right now. This game is ripe for the taking. GO FOR THE THROAT!!
People tend to forget that up until last season. Manning had never missed a start in his entire NFL career
So we have an early game this week, 11:00 a.m. MNT
Our D is getting nasty and if they continue to play the way they are playing right now, we’ll be a scary team to recon with. This is getting to be an exciting time for us Bronco fans. BRONCOS 2012!!
I am so mad we didn’t let Prater try that ridiculously long field goal. He would’ve made history. I know it.
The Broncos sure did a number on Philip Rivers psyche. I think he will be terrified to come to Denver on the 18th.
hey cat! excellent point! phyllis’s psyche was already in bad shape from all the bad play and ups and downs from this and last year. he is on a downward spiral and when we go back, yes we will be in his head and then in his ugly GRILL!!! cant wait to smash the chargers!! and the chiefs will be fun to dismantle as well!! how great is it to have such a strong team and it all starts with manning!! WHAT A YEAR!!!!!!!
Good evening one and all. It is good to be back! I must say, I have enjoyed me some Bronce football this season on t.v. I have watched the games just about every weekend. It is amazing whatr havingf a celeb on your team does for t.v. time.
Broncos Country:
Like I have said all along- Win as a team – Lose as a team. This game showed how good we can be with both O and D playing a complete game!!
I agree with stands you must give Kudos to the D!! JE said he will bring back the fear of the old OC!
Time will tell.
I must comment on the lack of postings!! This site should be rocking with OC, TRB, Royal plus many others!! Maybe it’s time to pass the torch! But looks more like a match stick!! Comments are down. Why? What goes with the fun Friday night posts used to be!!

LONG LIVE THE NECK!!

I KNOW LBF!!!! I am living in a dream world. Actually started crying during the third quarter because I knew we were going to win and I wasn’t going to have to wait until the last two minutes. Bam. Bring on Cincy!!!
Oh and my prayers go out to all you Bronco fans that are on the East coast.

Record kick or not. We are not about that! Broncos could have been on the 20 yard line and would still run out the clock!!
We are not like that!! We do not run up the score like NE would. Or try a record kick! We dont roll like that! JE and the Broncos know when they have a win and do it in class!
Just me!
Peace Out!
FTR
Oh I know, not against the Saints, but come FTR, you wouldn’t mind it if we did it against the Raiders….
I disagree FTR.
We have seen Brees stay in games when he normally would be out…just to pick up a record.
It is a NFL phenomenon that great players are given these exceptional opportunities – and it is equally an opportunity for an opponent to get his name in the record books if he can foil the effort.
Prater needs to get his shot and he needs the opportunity to bust it wide open…say for 70 yards!!! Why not???
(Actually – the Patriots are hurting Brady’s bid for Canton, as his numbers have declined due to establishing a running game.)
DB, I agree with you. He at least needs his opportunity to make the record books when we know he can.
Except there is NO WAY Tom Brady is not a HOFer five years after he retires. They are in love with him.

Ok you have a point If its faders kick away baby. I know I am a hypocrite.

Well raidrhadr, I wonder how many folks who got hit dead on by Sandy are looking forward to backyard grilling and getting closer to the community…. obviously you have never experienced anything like I have and many of these folks will, best of luck to all in that area.
DB:
Then there should be an asterisk bye the record like in Baseball. If a great player gets said record in an exceptional opportunity at an exceptional point of time during the game like in a playoff game with 3 seconds on the clock and the player has to make a 64 yard kick to win the game! In my old opinion this then is exceptional! Not a record set during mop up time at Mile High. In Football it would always be made a point for people to talk about the one that’s made the kick not who blocked it.
Just my opinion.

Man’o'Man! I always felt like I lived next to the edge of the Earth, then to lose internet for close to a week makes you feel like you fell off the Edge of said world!!!!
Not alot to say but the Broncos Looked GREAT!!! Most fun I’ve had at Sports Authority since last years playoff win! So happy with the Defense, especially the DL that kept or LB’s free to make plays! Woodyard gives them good props in an article on this site so I won’t cut and Paste it…
PUM PUM PUM B-R-O-N-C-O-S BRONCOS BRONCOS BRONCOS!!!
Do you think that we will go after
Good Morning Broncos Country!!
Hope you all are doing well! I’ve been really busy at work & with Family, so haven’t had much time to chime in.
Good to see all the familiar handles on here. (What’s up Strand & FTR!!)
What a great win, yet we know it was against one of the weaker defenses in the league.
Great to see Broncos D play well against Brees and Co!
- Wesley Woodyard is playing lights out right now!! Great to see!!
- DMT made a some great catches the other night, especially the first one off play action!!
- Champ was Champ and lead by example the other night!!
A great team effort by different players and great to see alot of players beginning to assert themselves…(Vickerson, Adams, Harris, Green…etc).
As Champ says, take it one game at a time and don’t lose focus.
GO BRONCOS!!!!!!!!
