I'm with you DB on that i would have liked Tebow to backup Manning but those are two different styles of football. Although, If a team gets behind Tebow with the same style of offense say like a Vick or even a Cam Newton. Tebow, IMO, would start to flourish and become a better player the more he got comfortable with a system. I still believe a running and throwing QB is more dangerous than a pocket passer but getting that perfect combination is hard. Cam Newton is probably the best in that catagory. Tebow showed how dangerous he could be taking a 1-4 team to 8-8. He can be effective with his arm and running the ball like we did last year can wear down a defense and keep our offense on the field. He is quick on his feet and at 250 lbs could be a dangerous weapon. I could not believe some of the wide open receivers he missed but he had some heart piercing passes as well. If a team will get behind him and build around that Tebow will have huge success. And what better role model and leader could you want and ask for. I think this is why so many people are upset with him leaving Denver.

IMO, I love the Peyton Manning move to give Denver a chance to win now. I hated to see Tebow go but Denver is a better football team now then they were last year. Im over Tebow being somewhere else and I wish him success now just not against the Broncos.

The wizzard of OS will be a good fit to replace Manning and what better QB to learn from before he takes the reins.

High 5 to OT!!! U da MAN!!!

Good to see Lou showing up. Where you been? LOL Got work and the back is good again - it's all good! You have permission to use my handle 'in vain'. LOL

Cat - it isn't like running around with a chip on my shoulder or functioning in bitterness. It's more like JE stepped down a rung on the ladder closer to where the rest of us mere mortals live - permanently. Tebow is functioning just fine as 2nd to Sanchez and he would have been a good backup to Manning. Nobody - least of all TT would have Timmy starting over Manning. (I'm over it - TT has a better chance of starting over Sanchez than he would have with Peyton.)

I cant believe that were listed behind twenty-two teams on defensive power rankings. This will change after the first couple of games.

I agree Kod but i think the organization wants to win now hence letting Tebow go. I hope Manning will be healthy the rest of the season but Hanie will give the best chance to win now.

Os will get a year of game speed experience before they throw him to the wolf....haha. lol

I have a feeling Os will be number 2 come opening game. If he is supposed to be the heir apparent to Manning, I think he'll benefit from being right behind him from day one.

Your right Cat and Kod!!!

A house divided will not stand. We can have healthy debate without being disrespectful.

Ive been saying this from the time they brought Manning in that this team has an attitude that has been contagious from the organization to the players to the fans.

Go......BRONCOS......GO......BRONCOS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chad and OT: Good call on not selling Tics to Steeler fans. I talked to someone who had season tickets and he said that when the Steelers were offering 500.00 a ticket it was hard to turn down.

I know money isnt everything but it sure helps....But, lets make a stand this year and sell only to Bronco fans. We can bring back that old Mile High Magic again and ROCK THE HOUSE!!!!!!!

Lets get this year off to a good start and everyone try and go to a game or two and make some noise.

Yeah, for a while there was a lot of animosity on the blog..............but it seems to have worked itself out and at this point, I think everyone has bought into this team as it stands this season. I'm glad we're all back at peace. But I'm sure when the season progresses, there will be more heated debate..........which is healthy. As long as we respect each others opinions, we'll be alright.

But hey, we're all broncos fanatics and we're all 150% behind our team heading into the season............and that's the way it should be!

cat: Yeah, I would expect Moreno not to be at full speed just yet. He will need to work his tail off to make the Team.
McGahee, Ball & Hillman are ahead of him, so his comp will be the other two RB's. Tomorrow night will be interesting to say the least.
