Linebacker Wesley Woodyard and friends will be at the Rackhouse Pub on October 1st for Touchdowns for Tomorrow – a trivia event benefitting a local charity.
The Rackhouse Pub is calling the night a “special Denver Broncos edition of Geeks Who Drink Charity Pub Quiz” and the function will benefit the Colorado Youth at Risk organization.
With the goal of reducing high school dropouts, Colorado Youth at Risk matches up students with adult mentors.
“Colorado Youth at Risk are out there on the homefront, right there on the front line working with the kids in the community,” Woodyard said on the event’s website. “We need to reach out to kids and we’re trying to gather as many mentors as possible and they’re doing it the right way.”
Tickets are available online here. The price is $65 per person or $240 per team of four people.
There will be a silent auction to bid on Woodyard or one of the other Broncos in attendance as extra members of your trivia team.
Trivia Prizes include Broncos tickets, passes to the Great American Beer Festival and signed memorabilia.
The cost of admission includes appetizers, dinner buffet and free beer provided by Great Divide Brewery.
Last year at the event, Woodyard was accompanied by teammates David Bruton, Nate Iriving, Demaryius Thomas and Matt Prater.
This year, the event begins at 6:30 p.m.
