Denver 26-13

They caught Balti offguard and overconfident....shame on them. That's not a problem for denver.

Ayers/hunter continue their dominance of contain, cj pulls up lame and hasselbeck gets tormented all day long.

It depends on who is able to play on Sunday, but if all starters are back we should be in decent shape. Well Moreno can sit, that's ok. It'll be a good game either way. Go Broncos!!!

Based on recent Orton history I have a difficult time predicting any offensive redzone touchdowns. I think we will get one defensive pick for a touchdown. I think we can count on Decker to run in a long yardage pass. Our run game will be completely stuffed and there will not be any rushing touchdowns. Approx. 70 yards total on the ground. Orton will pass for around 320 yards and get us into the redzone three times from which Prater will kick 3 Field Goals. Broncos 23.

This offensive performance requires one offensive lineman to dominate and the others hold their own especially against the rush, in spite of their inexperience. I don’t expect the line to look foolish like they did against the Raiders. It will require tightends to be reading the coverage well, pick up the rush, and create a good pockets for Orton to throw from. This is what I expect to happen.

If Mays and Woodyard are able to continue shutting down the running game. Broncos could pull off a Win. But I don’t think so. I think the Titans get in the Redzone often and Hassleback will find wide open receivers. The focus of the Bronco defense will shift in the second half to stopping the pass attack and the Titans will run it in. Titans score 4 touch downs. The 2 in the first half will be passing touchdowns the two in the second half will bee rushing touch downs. Titans – 28

Broncos will win time of possession battle, and will exceed Titan production by more than 100 yards. Broncos offense will look efficient and adequate but boring except for Decker going long. (Replace with Lloyd – if he plays) The defense will look like it is dominating by limiting the run in the first half, but it will give up a lot of yards to screens and short yardage plays. Watch Mays and Woodyard and Dawk – they are worth the price of admission. Count on a slightly above average number of QB sacks – say 4 in this game. Bronco punter will keep Tenn. starting deep in their own territory, or else this could get ugly.

You can count on it – Broncs 23- Titans 28

This is fun this week but from here on out it gets ugly. Not looking forward to Broncs meeting Green Bay.

I think that the defense will put a lot of pressure on Hasslebeck and CJ2K will get plenty of carries, if the Offense can match the tempo of the Defense and play smart, big time Broncos football we will come out of this at 2-1. my thoughts Broncos 34 Titans 17.
