In advance of Saturday’s Broncos-Patriots matchup in the Divisional round of the AFC playoffs, NFL Network has no shortage of Broncos coverage.
It all starts tonight (Wednesday) at 6 p.m. MST, when Denver’s thrilling 29-23 overtime victory against Pittsburgh in the Wild Card round will be replayed.
Immediately following that show will be Sound FX: Wild Card Weekend at 7:30 p.m. MST. The compilation of the best on-field sights and sounds from around the league last weekend includes wired sound from defensive end Elvis Dumervil.
On Thursday, the network will premiere Sound FX: Tom Brady & Tim Tebow at 7 p.m. MST. The show is described as a compilation of the best on and off field sounds from the New England Patriots quarterback and the Broncos signal caller.
Afterwards, at 7:30 p.m. MST, Denver and New England’s Week 15 clash will be replayed. The Broncos lost the game 41-23 after grabbing an early 16-7 lead.
Finally, on Friday at 6 p.m. MST, NFL Network will broadcast Tim Tebow: Season in Review.
“Tim Tebow’s magical run has brought the Denver Broncos all the way to a Divisional matchup against Tom Brady and the New England Patriots,” the show’s description reads. “Take a look back at Tebow’s storied 2011 season with wired sound and highlights.”
TEBOW NAMED FAVORITE ATHLETE
Speaking of Tebow, ESPN announced that the second-year quarterback is now America’s favorite active athlete, according to an ESPN Sports Poll.
The monthly poll had Tebow at the top for the month of December.
In the 18 years of the ESPN Sports Poll, only 11 different athletes — including Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods and LeBron James — have been No. 1 in the monthly polling.
According to ESPN, the poll results were gathered from 1,502 interviews from a nationally representative sample of Americans ages 12 and older.
Behind Tebow on the list, in order, are Kobe Bryant, Aaron Rodgers, Peyton Manning and Tom Brady.

Although Tebow is the face for multitudes of new fans and band-wagoneers pulling for the Broncos as of late, Kiszla, and more than anyone, the Pat-sy’s know who to fear.
Kiszla says:
No way, no how is Tim Tebow beating Tom Brady in the NFL playoffs. But Broncos running back Willis McGahee just might be tough enough to do the job.
But for all those that are lauding the Brady Bunch, there is one guy who isn’t batting an eye:
Impressed with New England? Not McGahee.
“Another football team that’s in our way, stopping us from where we want to go,” McGahee said Wednesday. “Just another football team.”
C’mon, man. Everybody knows the Patriots have won three championships and averaged 12 victories per season since 2001.
Challenging McGahee to back down, I said: “They’re better than just another football team.”
Not blinking an eye, McGahee said: “You asked me what I think of them.”
I countered: “Just arguing.”
“There’s nothing to argue,” said McGahee, ending the debate.
Here’s what I like about the real offensive MVP of the Broncos. There’s a chip as big as Mount Evans on the shoulder of McGahee.
But the 30-year-old running back carries the chip as easily as he lugged the football for 1,119 yards this season, after Denver rescued McGahee from a place in a forgotten corner of the league.
Unless MVP means most visible player, Tebow isn’t all that for the Broncos. Does McGahee feel underappreciated?
“No, I’m good,” McGahee insisted. “Quarterbacks need all the credit. They get all the credit.”
The way Broncos coach John Fox wants to win would be impossible without McGahee. You mean to tell me the man who keeps the clock and the offense running doesn’t crave a little more of the spotlight?
“Nah, that’s a lot of pressure,” replied McGahee, with a mischievous gleam in his eye.
“I’m cool with it,” said McGahee, unconcerned that every NFL-lovin’ man, woman and child on the planet, including Lady Gaga, seems to be going gaga over Tebow.
“He can have it. It’s all him.”
In a 41-23 loss to New England that sent the Broncos on a late-season, three-game losing streak and nearly cost them a berth in the Super Bowl tournament, the three main culprits for Denver’s second-quarter collapse against Brady have been identified as a fumble by Lance Ball, a fumble by Tebow and a fumble by Quan Cosby [right?]
Wrong, wrong and wrong.
Denver rushed for a bone-jarring, ground-shaking 167 yards in the opening period against a vulnerable Patriots defense.
But it was a leg injury to McGahee that hamstrung the Broncos and forced them into a game of basketball on grass that they are never going to win at this point in the respective careers of Tebow and Brady.
The sporting public might not care who the real offensive MVP of the Broncos is. NFL defensive coordinators, however, declare their vote for Denver’s most respected offensive weapon with the game plans devised week after week. It’s the same player who slipped into town without much fanfare after he ran for an unimpressive 380 yards for Baltimore in 2010.
“Now they know. No problem. They’re not sleeping on me, I can tell you that much,” McGahee said with a laugh.
“I’m placing eight, nine (defenders) in the box. So they know. For somebody who’s old and don’t got it anymore, that says a lot.”
Let me say one more thing:
The best man on the Broncos to put a scare in New England?
It’s McGahee.
I’m glad that McGahee is coming into foxborough with a chip on his shoulder. I just hope he can take care of the ball while leaving a wake of crushed Patsy helmets on his way to multiple big play touchdowns.
GO BRONCOS!

They have him (McD) listed as offensive assistant, as O’Brien is still the OC, but we know he’s filling Bill’s ear with everything he knows.
And McGahee played for Bufallo for a few years, he`s used to playing in the cold weather.
Yea royal. My question, what does McD know? Not much at this point. He didn’t even play Tebow last year so he knows little to nothing about our offense. Besides, with it changing every single week, Billichick is doing no more than guessing either. Tebow throwing like he did last week threw a monkey wrench in their gameplan for sure.
Yeah the idea of McD signing with the Pats before we played them didn’t sit well with me. A different Offense/Defense so not much insight there.
About the only thing McD know is personnel intricacies, flaws, etc.
rbf1,what does McD know?
We are a totally different team than we were last year,we don’t have the same strengths or weakness’s,he might have some inside info, but I don’t think he can hurt us.
Sorry weatherman, didn’t read before I posted.
You guys are right…. well then let me put that aside and let’s go get ‘em !!!
Bronc on guys,I gotta go do a few things, the temp fell from 48 to 38,and still dropping, rain changing over to snow,Winter is finally coming to the South East……later guys!
GO BRONCOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
hahaha BFE it is in the mid to upper 70′s here sun shinning.
60 degrees no clouds here!
You guys have a good evening. I gotta go get drugged up and on the O2. Been up to long today.
Its 39 degrees here and sunny, real nice in Colorado.
When its high winds and cold weather, it comes down to pounding the rock and playing lights out, smash mouth D. One thing I appreciated about being at Sundays game was when the offense was on the field waiting for CBS to come back from commercials, McGahee was out there dancing to the music right outside a loose huddle, just having fun with the game, giving Tebow a lil tap on the bottom, like lets go out there and play our game… there’s nothing better than to have a light/fun mood and it seemed to have an effect on how the offense was feeling… there was just a good mood in those huddles and it translated onto the field.
I’ll say this though after we were really up we got a little too lax and the more the Steelers started to gain a little momentum, the mood got a little more tense and on our next possession is when McG fumbled. So I hope they go out there this saturday and be calm cool and collected, just play Broncos football… force the patsys to slow down the game, the way a boxer makes an opposing fighter play into his game.

Have a good one BFE!
Weatherman – lucky dog…. warm weather in Florida sounds good about now…lol.
Two more days until game time!
Royal, lets back some bags and head out to Hawaii and catch some rays. LOL! Hang loose dude!
*Pack*
For the players sake I really wish it was on Sunday, just for that extra day of rest. Shoot I was drained after the game and then having to keep it going… I can’t imagine how tough it is to play such a physical game vs the Steelers and then have to turn around and head to Mass.
I hope we can carry some of that last game over, especially hits like the one Carter laid out… WHOOOO BOY! Can you say de-cleater LOL
Q laid out some wood!!
Sounds good strand….. my bones are starting to ache with the cold anymore..
Alright, I’m gonna go grub catch you later strands, RBF1…
