The NFL just released the tentative round-by-round order for the 2011 NFL Draft.
The Broncos hold seven picks, which are as follows:
Round 1, Pick 2 (2)
Round 2, Pick 4 (36)
Round 2, Pick 14 (46) (from Miami)
Round 3, Pick 3 (67)
Round 6, Pick 21 (186) (from Philadelphia through Detroit)
Round 6, Pick 24 (189) (from New Orleans through New England)
Round 7, Pick 46 (247) (compensatory selection)
Previously, the Broncos’ seventh-round pick was slated at 246th overall, but the second pick of the seventh round, which was previously announced as being forfeited by Detroit, has been reinstated upon appeal, and Detroit will instead forfeit a selection in next year’s draft.
That pushed back Denver’s final selection by one slot.

All you gotta do is look at other articles on NFL.com like teams not sold on gabbert and even some saying carolina is better served selling fans on more Clausen. In my mind theres no way we draft a QB, Gabbert is average at best and Cam is pretty much the 2011 tebow. We already have one. Either way I dont see how ANY team can draft 2 QBs in the first round back to back even if theres a regime change. Just wouldnt make sense to me. At least Carolina drafted clausen in like round 2 or 3. Either way u usually wanna give em like 2 years before u go squandering picks….
TRB you are right about Newton. If anything, he has even more questions than Tebow last year. Not the same character, not the same work ethic, not even as accurate as Tebow coming out, the list goes on and on. I think if anyone drafts him before the 2nd or 3rd, they have a better than average chance of having wasted a pick. Of course, Brady was drafted in the 6th round and Montana was drafted in the 3rd so there is probably more witchcraft than science in drafting a QB for the NFL! Still, it seems to me players with work ethics or character questions coming out don’t last very long so maybe the teams spend way too much time looking at measurables and workouts and not nearly enough time looking at game tapes and intangibles!

yea samurai, that was article i refered to a couple comments ago. smokescreen or not, due deligent or not, tired of reading it, tired of them saying it, cuz lord knows if they draft a QB, ill be pissed. might as well cuz brady quinn now. Or orton, or hey since u dont think he is the future tebow. cuz im pretty sure we are not gonna carry 4 QBs on roster, especially a 53 man rost cuz its a waste of space. Heck, Brady Quinn is already sorta kinda a waste of space lol.
yeah. I think Tebow needs at least a fair shot, if we have a pre-season let him get most the reps, since you know what Orton and Quinn can do, I just saw this article today actually and thought that’s where Bay got his joke from. I want Marcel Dareus or a another defensive player, maybe Patrick Peterson, maybe Von Miller, but no offensive player for sure. I thought Andrew Luck was supposed to be the only franchise kind of QB anyway, and he stayed in college.
Guys, to be clear I always try to get my material out of my upper brain, haha, never stealing anything from anyone else, unless of course I give them credit for it and quote them. No, this was strictly out of my imagination, but I must admit that there has been enough stuff going on with Elway that it is not as imaginary as anyone might think, maybe it’s even just a little too close to reality.
I mean lets just look at the facts and maybe it will show us that OC isn’t all that crazy when he says he fears Tebow is not in Elway’s plans:
Elway keeps saying he loves Tebow and his intangibles but that unless he learns to do it from the pocket he won’t do them any good.
Fox does not like inexperienced QBs and would start any experienced QB ahead of them no matter what, he even has publicly said Orton is the starter until further notice.
Elway keeps coming back with jabs about Tebow’s short comings and keeps bunching him up at the same level as Orton AND Quinn!!!
Then he goes so far as saying as far as he can tell we in no way have found a franchise QB and that we must keep looking on.
And he also assures whoever cares to listen that in no way shape or form is he in smoke screen mode regarding the draft.
And since he has been clamoring transparency with us fans ever since he’s been back, what in the hell are we supposed to think other than everything he says is coming from the bottom of his heart?
Maybe my April’s fool joke was just a premonition on my part….

A buddy of mine has one around here, and it flies, he is a shorter dude than me and he always takes me on trails with lots a low hanging branches so he has a good shot at decapitating me, haha, crazy machine and the cool thing is it has a reverse!!! Comes in handy since we have been stuck right up against trees…

That’s the dumbest thing I ever heard of with all due respect, Elway went to 5 SBs and won our first two, whatever Tebow will do after that will never top any of that, even if he won 3 SBs or more, nothing will ever equal that first one.
