As it stands, the Broncos will hold the 21st overall selection in the 2012 NFL Draft.
But the team has the power to change that with how far Denver proceeds in the postseason.
Of the 12 playoff teams, the Broncos have the lowest record at 8-8, currently slotting them at 21 before any playoff games are played.
The NFL’s rules on draft order are as follows:
Non-playoff clubs will select first through 20th, according to the reverse order of their standing.
The Wild Card participants not advancing to the Divisional Playoffs will select 21st through 24th, according to the reverse order of their standing.
The Divisional Playoff participants not advancing to the Championship Games will select 25th through 28th, according to the reverse order of their standing.
The Championship Game participants not advancing to the Super Bowl will select 29th and 30th, according to the reverse order of their standing.
The winner of the Super Bowl will select last and the other Super Bowl participant next-to-last, regardless of their regular-season record.
So without further ado, here is the full tentative draft order:

IS IT APRIL YET????
I think that this is pretty much a make or break game for Tebow. If he comes out and stinks up the place against Pittsburgh like hes done the last 2 weeks, we definitely think about taking a quarterback in the 1st round. If he comes out and has a decent game I say we let him play next year, at least for the first part of the season.
What I am most happy about with this season, is I truly believe that the Broncos are only a few players away from being a legitimate playoff team. QB, WR, CB, Safety.
Well I can assure you Pittsburgh will no doubt play in a way that guarantees he stinks it up. We will draft a qb. For sure
give the kid couple more years and he will be ok its too soon to throw the kid away when he’s just developing. Americans want instant gratification and are upset if they don’t get it right away. And we think the rest of the world owes us and its always our rights and never there’s. We are impatient American’s.
I just thought of something, two years ago we won 6 games in a row and finished 8-8 and once again we do the exact same thing this season, all a coincidence but pretty weird nonetheless. I mean like how may teams in the history of the NFL have had 6 game winning streaks only to end up 8-8, probably just a handful and we’ve done it twice in three years.
Oops, wrong blog, meant to post it on the current one.
Only teams with crap coaches. None of them did it because of Tebow.
We need the Honey Badger!!
sign Flynn. WE CAN WIN WITH FLYNN.
i dont get why everyone is pointing the fingers at tebow has anyone ever stopped to think hey maybe if we got a decent back besides a 30 year old mcgahee and get some receivers that can actually catch tebow would be better i mean D. Thomas is good and Decker is good to but lets face it those guys r not number 1 wide receivers if we put them on any other team they would be there 3rd to 4th receivers lol and dont forget that DT in the middle of our o line if we get a dominate player there who demands double teams how will teams bbe able to stop dumervil and miller coming off the edge the answer is they wont we will be able to get constant pressure on the other team any team all day so before u blame tebow for it all look at the rest of the team tebow cant do it by himself
FLGatorBronco: You is the biggest tool on this entire blog; first of all “your idol” Tim Tebow had absolutely nothing to do with the Broncos getting in to the playoffs and from what i saw from the Kansas City game, it’s been the defense and special teams that’s been getting the job done.
Secondly if the Broncos do win against Pittsburgh: then the credit would go to the defense and special teams not Tebow, and last how in the blue hell can you blame the offensive coordinator Mike McCoy for Tim’s bad play?
One: Tim Tebow is the quarterback, he gets payed to throw the football; hell even Aaron Rodgers can make that receiving core in Denver look good.
Two: When your boy can’t throw and his only strength is running then defenses already got him figured out; so don’t blame the receivers, coaches, or referees (like you’ve been doing the last three weeks) blame Tebow for not getting the job done & by the way that’s what Josh McDaniel drafted him for anyway. And stop mentioning his records in college and high school those are two different levels, and Tim Tebow’s record as a starting quarterback in the NFL is 8-6.
