Tebow’s Cleats up for Auction

October 18th, 2011 - 1:13pm by Kenny Legan

Tim Tebow’s cleats are up for grabs.

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Tim Tebow Foundation, in partnership with XV Enterprises, is auctioning off a pair of Tebow’s pink cleats he wore in a game against the Tennessee Titans earlier this month.

The auction, known as “Cleats for a Cure”, began yesterday — Monday, October 17 — and ends one week later on Monday, October 24. It’s part of the foundation’s weekly charity eBay auction, the proceeds of which will go to the University of Colorado Foundation for Breast Cancer Research at the Anschutz Medical Campus.

The custom-made Nike cleats are autographed by Tebow and will be given to the auction winner along with an 8′ x 10′ autographed picture of Tebow wearing the cleats.

Follow this auction and learn more about “Cleats for a Cure” at www.timtebowfoundation.org.

The one thing all the teams could do is let the winners of the auctioned goods come on the field before or after a gome and personally meet the players and maybe get a photo op with them.
