While Tim Tebow will take the field at Sun Life Stadium in South Florida for the first time as a pro on Sunday, it won’t be his first appearance at the stadium.
“I’m very excited about it—not that it’s in Miami or in Florida,” Tebow said. “Just the opportunity to start for the Denver Broncos and that truly is an honor and a privilege.”
As a senior at Nease High School, Tebow led the team to the 2005 4A State Championship, defeating Armwood 44-37 at what was then named Dolphins Stadium. In the game, Tebow completed 18-of-27 passes for 237 yards and four touchdowns to go with 153 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns to lead his school to its first state title.
During his junior season at the University of Florida, he led the squad to a 24-14 victory in the BCS National Championship game over Oklahoma at Sun Life Stadium. Tebow finished that game 18-of-30 for 231 yards with two touchdowns and compiled another 109 yards on the ground and earned game MVP honors.

WTF! That’s almost like cheating isn’t it? You know I just figured it out, I bet you Atari had Tim Tebow in mind when you played the football game and you could go off screen and come through on the other side! The Tebow effect! LOL
I think I’m dating myself!
GO GET EM’ BOYS!

uh….hey Stuart, consider yourself a genius….
Oakland last blog was in August! Wow! What a way to keep the fans connected!
Geeezzzz Not only did Al Davis ruin a football franchise he clearly has no idea of what social media is!
GO GET EM’ BOYS!
I am the most excited about Thomas, and I don’t mean Bay bay. Julius Thomas the TE will be back. I believe having a tall, pass catching TE is the hardest position to defend and he provides a big target for Timmy to throw at. Also with his background in basketball, you know he has sure hands. If he pans out to be the next Gates or Gonzolas we will be in good shape for sure.
Go TT! Go Broncos!
Hey bay here is my prediction…
Den 24
Mia 18
Ah man…….you just had to remind me that Tebow used to be a Gator,I’m trying to forget that, lol.
He’s a Bronco now!!!!!!!!!!
GO BRONCOS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mark my words. Tim Tebow will win at least one NFL MVP honor, at least one Superbowl AND he will be in the NFL Hall of Fame.
All doubters just keep on not giving him a chance and he will keep proving you wrong!
Lloyd was a business decision in a contract year. No sweat. He is just like the rest of the WR divas in the league. One stellar season and he thinks he should be handed the world. He wouldn’t even still be in the league if it wasn’t for Denver bringing him in a letting him hang out on the practice squad for a year. Same thing happened to him when he was in San Francisco. One stellar year and then signed big deal with Washington to BUST to Chicage to BUST to Denver practice squad! Hope he enjoyed his one Pro Bowl because that is the only one he will get. He is now in the NFC with Megatron, Greg Jennings, Roddy White, Larry Fitzgerald, and Steve Smith. Brandon who???
Not saying De. Thomas is the answer but the group as a whole is one of the best groups in the league. Look at IND, NE, and GB. They do just fine with WR by committee.
So many teams are going to get burned by Tebow and our WR group that I will be laughing all the way to the bank! Tebow has a way better arm than people give him credit for. And with the effectiveness of and the threat of all the running our WR group will be in the top ten in YPC.
Can’t wait. Haven’t been this excited since Elway, TD, and Sharpe days.
Oh and by the way. I am also predicting that our defense improves because of the offensive changes. Top ten defense by the end of the season.
How do you like those apples?????
GO BRONCOS!!!!
those apples seem really tasty true!im with you cant wait to shut the mouths of all the Tebow haters. After we beat the dolphins and the lions maybe they will change there tone ?we are gunna be stronger every game we play and it is going to start to be noticed by everyone not just us SMART Bronco fans!
glad someone else sees it the same
everyone is already talking about us more in the last two weeks than they did the whole first two months this year – call that the TE (Tebow Effect)
I listen to Sirius NFL Radio ALL day long and I used to never hear anything about the Broncos and now every time I turn it on they are talking about us!!! TE
Hype is hype and that is what Tebow brings and its contagious!!!! Soon the entire Bronco roster won’t be able to help themselves – they will be so hyped they will be making plays all over the field. And watch how fast the bandwagon changes. TE
Whoever keeps track – I want credit for TE (Tebow Effect) – I believe I am the first to use it.
@trueonbfan
You stole the words right out of my mouth!
I agree with you on Lloyd too. I don’t feel like he’ll ever play as good as he did last season. It’s better to get something for him than just lose him at the end of the season for nothing.
Go Broncos!!!!
I like the Tebow Factor way better.
