The Broncos on Friday were assigned guard Stanley Daniels, who was waived by the Green Bay Packers on Wednesday.
The 6-foot-4 328-pound Daniels spent time on the Packers practice squad in 2009 and has also been a member of the New York Jets and St. Louis Rams.
Daniels played four season at the University of Washington and is the nephew of former Broncos linebacker Ray May, who donned the orange and blue from 1973-75.

Also the Bills are still trying to trade Marshawn Lynch. We have 3 QB’s that are suitable starters and the Bills don’t have any quarterbacks. Maybe we trade Orton and a 5th for Marshawn Lynch?
No way we get Marshawn Lynch, Mcd wants a team of guys with HIGH character which is one reason we shipped off Marshall. Lynch has his share of off field issues and doesnt fit the mold of people McD wants.
ok i know this is probably way off topic on what you are all talkin about but i just read this article on the top stories tab on the home page.. and this is what stands out the most I vaigly remember this happening..
“He is the quarterback who famously apologized to Florida fans after a loss to Ole Miss, promising that “you will never see any player in the entire country play as hard as I will play the rest of the season, and you’ll never see someone push the rest of the team as hard as I will push everybody the rest of the season, and you’ll never see a team play harder than we will the rest of the season.” (talking about Tebow of Course)
now who in the NFL can ever say they apologized about losing to their fans… Not saying sorr about a sex scandal or tested positive for drugs or posession of a hand gun at a club or being arrested for beating your girl (most of the time the players dont really write their own apologezes.. none!! That i have ever heard of at least now there is something special about this player… he is a winner he HATES losing if thats not proof enough maybe his blood covered jersey will say it?? or him crying after a loss..
O i am HAPPY to see us beefing up our o line!!! Personally i feel after thinking it over.. if Orton isnt our guy we need to trade him and groom our guy now.. ya know??
I’m in town (Denver) attending my grandsons garduation and I saw the last few minutes of Ron Zapolo’s interview of Rod and Eddy Mac. If you haven’t seen it and wonder if the Broncos made the right decision in getting rid of Culter and B Marsh, find a way to watch it. It says everything you ever needed to hear to confirm in your mind that dumping Culter and B MArsh was the correct decision.
SOUTH STAND SUPER FAN FOREVER!!!!!
Found the link for the interview oldsouth was talking about its 22mins long

I know i’m gettin’ it tho,LOLOLOLO
BFE, talking about BWI, check out the story on how McChesney might of had a career ending injury at a golf course when he got run over by a golf cart, I’ve golfed a lot in my days, and it sounds like it could very well be a case of GUI (golfing under influence), at least as far as the driver of the golf cart is concern. Check out what Klis says about it:
McChesney, who had a shot to make the Broncos’ roster this year as a backup center and guard, had climbed out of the golf cart he was driving to approach his ball. Just as McChesney got out, the trailing cart was driving by and accidently clipped his ankle. It was the same ankle McChesney had surgically repaired after a preseason injury last year.
It’s a blessing we have been drafting multiple O lineman this year and still have been picking them up left and right off waivers these last couple weeks, because we are not running an O line right now, it’s more like a MASH unit. Another thing Klis said is it might be a good thing we drafted Tebow specially with all this happening. Imagine Orton playing behind an O line made of medically impaired players mixed in with brand new recruits, not a pretty picture, it’s more like a horror show in the making… An immovable QB has no shot in hell to perform well in a team with a questionable O line, just saying.
Anyhow main thing is to hope that Caldy and Ryan will be ready and that the new additions can gel into a unit quickly, which for an O line is easier said than done, considering it is the unit in football that usually takes the longest to mesh together. Which gets me all worried we didn’t go after Power Backs again. As much as I am always excited for a new year, I am doing so with very much guarded optimism this year, it feels to me as it’s like a re-building year all over again with so many unknown, the O line, the D line, the running game, the QB, the passing game, I’m gonna stop since I’m already dizzy just thinking about it. No wonder I see 8-8 again or 9-7 at best.
But it would be ok with me because for what McD is doing, getting rid of all the “me first” stars and bringing in high character guys like Tebow with whom it won’t happen overnight, I know that it will be at least a couple years before we can get to where we all want to go, all the way. Sorry fans, I think we will have to be patient once again this year, but rejoice, this is the last one, next year, no waiting for greatness, no excuses, nothing but pedal to the metal, all or nothing, do or die, now call me pessimist if you want but 2011 has a feel of excitement for me already, that is if we do actually have a season… LOL, but if not we’ll get it done in 2012 anyway, McD last contract year by the way.
For now I will watch this 2010 season as a little kid watching his first Disney movie, bright eyes wide open, not knowing anything about what I’m about to see, just content and satisfied to know I will be entering a brand new world, exciting, dangerous, full of hope… I hope.
Looks like we’ve lost one of our linemen for good

Oppsy Bay already beat me to the punch haha
McChesney was probably never going to make an impact on the team anyway…
I’m just glad Coach was dissapointed like I was in our O output last season….
We are really completely rebuilding the entire Offense this year….. I LIKE IT! I cant wait to see this Blazing Bronc O fired up and flying down the field!!!!
WE ARE GOING TO SCORE!!!!!!
ILMSDB!!!
Is Chris Kuper going to get a big contract? Our line play suffered when we lost Hamilton and Harris, and even then our guards was above average at best.
Kuper signed his tender, so he’ll be making $2.521 mil this year, which I think is fair money for his contribution so far and I also think it’s right to see how he can do this year before deciding on what he is really worth long term, just my opinion.
Site will not let me post something thats not that bad! I hate censorship!
Google Jerry Jones on his opinion on Tim Tebow.

Never see Mr B doing this!!
GO BRONCOS!!
FTR
Forget Lynch. He’s been arrested for weapons charges and has a history of drug abuse. We don’t need the next Travis Henry.
Samon this is for you, heard the Broncos were looking at Greg Inglis from the storm.
I hope they sign Doom today with him being in-house.
Sign him please Mr.Bowlen, McDenver, or Mr.X.
Who’s decision it is… please push it forward.
Have you seen the new Miss U.S.A.? oooooommmmmgggggggggggggg…..!!!!!!
SIGN DOOM!!!
they are not going to sign doom because he only have one good season in 3-4 so please stop saying it i also will like them to sign him
People, people…calm down.
McD loves Doom, he will sign him. I guarantee Doom will be a very rich Bronco by September.
Everyone just needs to chill out, somebody is gunna make it happen eventually.
ILMSDB!
“PAY DOOM”
Go Broncos!!!
Orton will start, leaving Quinn and Tebow, or should I say Tebow (2nd) and Quinn (3d), so that Tebow can enters the game on 3rd and short or red zone situations. Quinn’s not coming in unless Orton has been put out of the game, or yanked, so Quinn is at No. 3. The power blocking scheme will be oriented towards getting KM (and T2) yards to continue drives. Any one notice what the average weight/size of the O-line will probably be this season? Picture both KM and T2 in the backfield, and no one being sure who was getting the direct snap. Orton gets to put up or shut up this year–just like any other QB, with JM having Quinn as the immediate back-up. If Orton succeeds in this role, then Quinn is gone next year. If Orton doesn’t, then obviously Quinn is next year’s QB. All the while, T2 is steadly getting more and more experience (compare Montana). Brandstater=practice squad. On going 8-8: better to go 8-8 with a brand new offense on the way to continuing improvement the next year. Teams rarely go from mediocre to great in one year. It takes some fresh “management” with time to develop the players into a “team.” Any one read “The Gold Standard” by Coach K? Takes more than just bringing together a bunch of players to win a championship.
