A new face hit the practice field at Dove Valley Tuesday morning. Cornerback Wale (wah-LEE) Dada, was signed to a undisclosed deal. He takes the roster spot of Lamont Reid, who was waived.
Dada is a first-year player who joins the Broncos after he was waived by New Orleans on Saturday. He entered the league in 2006 with the New York Jets as a college free agent from Washington State University and has seen time on the rosters of the Jets (2006), Seahawks (2007-08) and Saints (2008) during his NFL career.
Dada has yet to appear in an NFL regular-season game but spent the final month of the 2007 season on the Seahawks’ practice squad.
He will wear number 31.

Great, another pedestrian, undrafted FA. We exchanged nothing for nothing. Isnt anyone concerned about MLB, DL/DE, WR, back-up QB. Why a no name CB? Oh yeah, he’s cheap!
Please, dont everyone jump in and remind me that Rod Smith was a UFA…I totally get that. But we have probowl DBs, DB’s who are on the verge of making a name for themselves (Foxy/Williams/Morton/Paymah) Why him, why now, why?
BTW…we have Demetrin Veal practicing in the vicinity of Dove Valley. He has a track record (good), and he’s a 300+lb DL. He’s young, he could be another young rotating lineman to support D-Rob/Thomas. He cant be expensive either, and he’s playing for nobody? Ok…
