I know your type stevecan2. What surprises me is why you took offense to me? What’s that say about you and ‘checking yourself’?

Guess that this ordeal could play into the fundamental breakdown from Top to Organizational bottom that baylin was referring to!

  2. baylinorcrush says:

Like I said yesterday, 95% of the crap blogging comes up late at night, alcohol or drug induced or both or just nasty feelings in people only being released that late after a full day of daily life frustrations, count me out, pretty much always out of here by 9pm, you guys are just wasting your time and everybody else’s on stuff like that, I rather try to come up with some constructive things about the Broncos.

  3. RabidOrange says:

Hey now, stevecan2, lay off. I happen to enjoy Chucky Cheese. I’ve even been known to drool a bit. lol

  4. killerkod says:

Glad I’m not involved in the night time blogging………seems as though I don’t miss too much but a lot of hostility…….

Plus it’s just too damn late to be up………LOL

  5. sndvl says:

    Anyway, back to Broncos!

Whats news baylin? I’m being lazy this am

  7. killerkod says:

The Tebownites keep saying that TT needs to go to a team where they build the offence and playcalling around him……….this will make him successful.

Ummmmm……..not having an arm with which you can make accurate throws will certainly spell disaster no matter what team or offensive scheme you’re in. Your legs can only take you so far. The job of the QB is to throw the ball…………ACCURATELY. Those that don’t have very short careers in the NFL.

  8. baylinorcrush says:

This morning I just thought I’d give my two cents on how to proceed with the QQ and I did, but can’t spend too much time looking stuff up since I gotta mow the lawn, wash the car and tiddy up the boat so I can put everything physical off my to do list for about a month since I’m going under the knife Thursday, nothing bad, just unavoidable necessary stuff.

  9. 4Eva-A-Bronco says:

Bay I knew as a business man would you come around to reason. Taking emotion completely out of the picture, it makes sense to start tebow. I have been trying to convey that, maybe your post can shore up better than mine. If tebow improves as he starts the remainder of the season we will know what we need to do, as the season is lost already anyways. And by the way I would post more with you guys during the day, but work deep nights. At nights if something relevant isn’t discussed, I just simply bypass it, as my purpose for blogging is to talk about the broncos, not argue or blog fight, or make hurtful jokes/comments. Now with that said I have been up for 21 hours do goodnight all, till tomorrow. 4Eva out

If I’m not on Friday, somebody else will have to pick up the score prediction contest, LOL.

  11. marshisboss says:

Taking out your crazy bone Bay lol. Wish you all the best hope all goes well.

  12. baylinorcrush says:

Thanks, but just so you know I have always said Tebow needed to play for the rest of the season for us to find out if he can be the man, I never had to come “around to reason”.

  13. baylinorcrush says:

I’m afraid that bone is too deep to get at, LOL.

  14. sndvl says:

It was believed that Tim Tebow would have an 11-game audition to show whether or not he could be an NFL quarterback. It might not even last that long.

Tebow is hearing it from his doubters after just two starts.

One of those doubters, Denver Post columnist Mark Kiszla, joined “Around the League” on Monday to summarize a scathing piece he wrote after the quarterback’s dismal showing against the Lions.

“That’s pretty easy: He’s the worst quarterback in the NFL,” Kiszla explained. “He’s totally unprepared to play quarterback. He can’t make basic throws that an NFL quarterback does, and he doesn’t read NFL defenses.”

Wow, tell us how you really feel.

If coach John Fox’s belief that Tebow gives the Broncos a better chance to win than former starter Kyle Orton doesn’t hold water, it won’t last long in the locker room. It might not be a reach to suggest Tebow is the water cracking the rock in Denver.

“I believe that some of the players inside that building know that they don’t have a very good chance to win games with Tim Tebow playing quarterback,” Kiszla said.

Many players have been given less than three games to prove they can play in the league. But the Broncos have to find out what they have in Tebow. It’s just that no one has ever done it with more written about him.

  15. sndvl says:

This by Bear Heiser at National Football Authority

Tim Tebow, a.k.a. the most polarizing figure in the NFL, has now started two consecutive games for the Denver Broncos and has had some very mixed results. Although, he has collectively played about one quarter of what could be considered “good” football.

In Sunday’s 45-10 loss at home to the Detroit Lions, Tebow completed a very pedestrian 18-of-39 passes for 172 yards with one touchdown and one interception.

This comes just a week after Tebow led the Broncos to a come-from-behind victory over the Miami Dolphins, in miraculous fashion.

Need we all be reminded that neither head coach John Fox nor team president John Elway drafted Tebow? File that in the back of your mind for the future because, at this rate, the Tebow topic isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.

“Right now we’re in the process of finding who the quarterback is,” Fox said Monday of his quarterbacking situation. “And I’ll leave it at that.”

That said, one member of the Broncos media seems to be leading the charge against Tebow.

“[Tim] Tebow played as ineptly as any sorry excuse for a pro quarterback possibly could,” writes Mike Kiszla of the Denver Post. “He was laughably bad.”

Clearly Kiszla felt that comment needed reinforcement because well, you’ll see.

“Those five wonderful minutes against Miami now look like an aberration. Right here, right now, he is the worst quarterback in the NFL.”

At this rate, the Tebow bandwagon might not have many riders moving forward.

Tebow has done nothing in 120 minutes of football to show anyone he is capable of playing quarterback in the NFL. As long as his play hovers at mediocrity, Fox and Elway win.

Now, this is only a theory, but because Fox and Elway are seemingly stuck with Tebow, the only conceivable reason they had to start him in the first place was in hopes that he would fail for everyone to see—even if it meant losing games in the process. Why else would they have traded Brandon Lloyd, who was the NFL’s leading receiver in 2010, for just a sixth round draft pick?

They may not be racking up wins now, but they are one step closer to “LWT,” Life Without Tebow.

Look, Fox and Elway have a plan for the future of this team and Tebow is the only thing standing in the way. In a way, the Broncos have gone into the tank in an effort to get Tebow out the door faster than he came in.

This is a very, very sneaky move—any way you look at it. Though, if there was ever a guy who could get away with it in Denver, it’s Elway.

At the end of the day, the fans in Denver will side with Elway, no matter how much they love Tebow or hate losing games. Elway could sell a ketchup popsicle to a woman in white gloves, if it somehow resulted in a return to the glory days.

  16. HardHitting27 says:

Does everyone remember what Elway did with the AFL and the Colorado Crush?
While he marketed the team very well, the overall management was subpar. To say that the “fans” will side with Elway no matter what is bull. I do think Elway was a great NFL QB. He has yet to show the chops to be in any type of managerial/logistical position in the NFL or AFL for that matter.

I will always be pro Broncos. Until the team begins to show it focus again this will be a franchise in disarray. Right now there is some opposing views between coaches, players and front office. This dissension is not helping.

We, Broncos Country, need to support the players on and the team as a whole first. The ship will be righted and on course again. Hopefully soon. Right now, just hold on for the rough waters ahead.

  17. Broncfalls says:

Bay, I think you brought up a very good point and I’m with ya brother! Playing Tebow is the business decision that has to be made! Period!

Now, as you pointed out, how long will that locker room hold together while this “lil’ project” rolls along?

I’m still trying to figure out how and the hell we can be only 2 games out of first while all this is going on! LMFAO!

    GO GET EM’ BOYS!

  18. henryac says:

The sad part is that all of it is completely unnecessary. All they have to do is say. “He is not the QB we want, we didn’t draft him, we are trading him,” and I think everyone would be fine with that after a little bellyaching. Moves like this call into question the integrity of the whole organization from top to bottom. Why would any coach or FA want to play or work for a team that treats one of it’s players this way? This could have long term effects on the future of football in Denver for several years to come.

  19. BeastFromEast92 says:

HardHitting27…..Elway took the Crush from 2-14 his first year to 11-5 in his 2nd year, then the following year they won the AFL Championship!!!

  20. shaztah says:

Bay, I have said this before and I mean it, I always enjoy reading your comments. You were correct when at the beginning of the year stated that Tebow would be in after the bye week. You were also correct that the so called “fans” would only give him a short amount of time to prove himself. I totally agreed with you when you said that it will take all 11 games to get a true sense of what he can do. I just wish the coaches would go to Tim and say ” Ok, we are going to hand you the reigns for the rest of the season because we believe you can get better and now it is up to you to prove it to us”. Give him a little backing, I know he is tough and thrives on critisism but goodness sake how many other people could take what he has endured from the beginning? Many people said that it was the fans treatment of Orton which caused him to get progressively worse? Try amplifying that by 1000 and see what happens, Tim gets it from experts, media, other players and probably his own organization. Anyways, thanks again Bay and I hope some of your negativity will ease the further we go in the season.

  21. shaztah says:

By the way, the not named player from the Dolphins who made that comment about Tebow was probably the same one who said his own TEAM SUCKED (Bush) or maybe the one who said in response that Bush sucked. Seems like they have their own problems in their organization so why make stupid comments on someone else’s QB.

  22. HardHitting27 says:

He also got greedy along with a few other owners, and drove the league to lose the tv contract with NBC and ESPN. And eventually, the AFL folded. It didn’t come back until this year and as you notice Denver was not invited back into the league

  23. BroncosLAX says:

A source familiar with the Broncos’ thinking said he expected Tebow to last another couple of games until – barring a dramatic improvement on the left-hander’s part – the team turns to current third-stringer Brady Quinn(notes), a 2007 first-round pick of the Cleveland Browns. The Broncos would then target a quarterback in the first round of next April’s draft, with a trio of Big 12 passers – Oklahoma’s Landry Jones, Baylor’s Robert Griffin and Oklahoma State’s Brandon Weeden – the likeliest candidates at this point. The draft’s projected top QB prize, Andrew Luck, would presumably be off the board before Denver picks.

  24. BroncosLAX says:

I said I would updat on QUINN WATCH lol

So if Tebow gives Denver the best chance to win and he is the worst starting QB at giving a chance to win then that makes Orton what? Fertilizer maybe? Well Quinn time is fast approaching everyone!

  25. shaztah says:

Hey LAX was that the cook again?

  26. BroncosLAX says:

Cook? lol Im not quite following but it was from Yahoo Sports

  27. BroncosLAX says:

Quite possibly lol either way I trust the cook!

  28. baylinorcrush says:

The cook said it is a Fox one liner.

And not negativity per say shaztah, just looking at the bull dead straight in the eyes.

  29. 1nOnlyTRB says:

Shaztah … it wasn’t a dolphins player that said that about Tebow it was a lions player that pretty much said he sucked and was a joke of a QB and etc. (Which I think was not cool sportsman wise) but watever.

I dunno where people got this idea that “Tebow give us the best chance to win” … to my knowledge no one in the organization said that about Tebow … they did however say that about Orton and when orton was sucking decided to put in TT not because he gives us the best chance to win perse …. but because it makes sense and has always made sense to find out what he has rather than going into next years draft blind. Fox never siad TT gives us the best chance to win … in fact he has been saying that he regrets saying that about Orton in a sense because it has come back to bite him many times in press conferences … Tebow is just t he logical choice. Play him. If he shows improvement and the ability, dont draft a QB … if he doesn’t draft a QB … cutting his audition short will answer no questions. The man has started 5 games … not even a full year … sure Cam Newton is a phenom as a rookie … but guys like him are rare (btw called his success when the media kept bagging on him).

  30. baylinorcrush says:

But you called SD to win last night, haha.

  31. baylinorcrush says:

Actually you really are a bettor’s best friend, put his money opposite of what you say and win 75 % of the time, LOL.

  32. BroncosLAX says:

Many fans were deluded into the idea of a better chance to win with Tebow from his SD comeback and the team comeback in Miami

  33. milehighmagic88 says:

Bay I really like the plan you laid out. We’re not going anywhere this year, might as well let Tebow play out unless things don’t improve at all. If that’s the case put Weber in for the last couple games. We don’t need to see KO or Quinn play they’ll be gone by next year anyway.

Sadly I am convinced that our long term answer at QB is not on this roster. It really pains me to say that because I wanted to see Tebow succeed with flying colors and take us places. No, it shouldn’t be now or never, that’s why he should get several more games to show what he can do. But we can’t treat him like a rookie because he’s not a rookie. He’s in his 2nd year in the same system. He should be showing improvement by now. It aggravates me to see the way all our QBs play when this year’s rookies like Cam, Dalton, and Ponder are making tremendous strides. That’s why I think we need to get an NFL-ready QB early in the draft next year. Times have changed in the league, quarterbacks can come in and be successful right away.

  34. shaztah says:

Henry, you bring up a good point. All the experts are saying that Luck’s Dad is going to be a big part of the draft process and what if the father see’s how Tim is being treated and says hey wait a minute I don’t want my son to be treated like that if he isn’t perfect in his first year or 2. I actually think Luck would be a good fit in Indy (that is if Payton LETS them grab him) LOL

  35. henryac says:

milehighmagic88, I can agree with most everything you said. I will say, however, the 3 rookie QB’s you mentioned are in systems that have been adjusted to what they can do right now. To see the difference, look at Gabbard in JAX. He is trying to run a system that was put in for Garrard and not adjusted for him and is having problems with it. As far as Tebow being a 2nd year player, all the guys you mentioned except Ponder have more starts than Tebow. It isn’t how long you are in the league that matters, its how much game experience you have. The real question to be answered is can he improve, will he get better? Pull him now or in the next few games and you will never know so what did you accomplish in the long term? Answer, nothing! There is also only one really NFL-ready QB in the upcoming draft, after that it is a SWAG on the rest. Bradford and McCoy looked good last year, not so much this year. The reasons are many but the result is the same. It takes a team to win, not just a QB and Denver is missing anything that even looks like a complete team right now.

  36. stevecan2 says:

actually, I work grave yard. no drugs or alcohol. i equated what sndvl said with. never called him racist. do not know why he thought I did.

people can and do mock christianity every day and that has zero effect on me. just like some goof trying to teach a sensitivity lesson on an nfl blog. no effect. but just aggrovating enough to get a response from me.

we might be bronco fans but we don’t have to like each other. and as much or as many do not like me, it is mutual. so I will stop adressing people individually, after all this is the kinder, gentler, sensitive blogs. I will end with this, sensitivity is for the weak.

  37. seweatherman1 says:

It doesn’t matter what they do the remainder of this season. Management screwed this pooch right from the start with the QQ situation. Management created the locker room dilemma when they tried to trade Orton and had TT starting at the beginning of the year to suddenly change ships just prior to the season starting. As much as I would love to see Tebow succeed on this team, it isn’t going to happen. They have tried to and are trying to change everything about his play that they can change, and he has to think of these changes prior to doing anything on the field every play. I am not sure that one can do that, but if he can figure out a way he will. Where it has taken most rookie qb’s two seasons to get acclimated to the NFL, Tebow is having to show that he has it in less than one season. I don’t see that happening either, but if he can figure out a way he will.

  38. stevecan2 says:

actually… please tell me sndvl what is my kind? or type, what ever you regirgitated. not offended I just want a glimpse of this profound wisdom of yours.

now I am done with you bronco fan.

  39. BroncosLAX says:

    Adam Schefter
Tebow has to show something soon

“I think Denver is going to give the quarterback’s supporters exactly what they want — a heavy dose of Tebow. They’ll play him for a little while longer and see if he is as good as the finish in the Miami game — or as off as the other times he has played. Keep in mind, the Broncos have said Brady Quinn outplayed Tebow in practice. And at some point later this season, they might see what they have in him. But they’ve given Tebow a chance and so far the results aren’t overly encouraging. He needs to play better, prove he is worthy of the chance and try to secure Denver’s starting job in the future. It won’t be easy and will be one of the biggest challenges of his football career.”

  40. lonewolf7 says:

Good luck Bay. I hope for a successful operation. Instant gratification for the fans isn’t a possible achievement no matter who is at the helm of this ship. Let’s hope they remain or become a team united and not divided. My guess this week is a surprise, imagine that. Broncos 19 – Raiders 16.

  41. brian_schneider says:

You know the worst thing, is that if Tebow doesn’t inprove and show us something, that means we’ll need to draft a QB. With all of our other positions that we need help at, a QB will be our first draft pick. That’s unfortunate because we definitely need help at OL, DT, CB, RB and WR.
The unfortunate thing is all the hype isn’t Tebow’s fault. Every little thing he does is scrutinized because he’s Tim Tebow it’s a lot of pressure. My honest feeling is that the Dolphins and Lions both showed how to beat Tim Tebow. Plain and simple unless Tebow improves he won’t win another game for us. So if he doesn’t start performing better..Quinn it to win it!

I’m giong to just post my prediction now and get it over with.
    Broncos: 7
    Raiders 24

  42. seweatherman1 says:

Good luck to you bay. Going under the knife is never a “good” thing, no matter what the reason.

  43. bronco life says:

would rather draft a qb then have quinn for qb .he is not the answer to the qb position!

  44. baylinorcrush says:

It’s like musical chairs, all the QBs are gonna get their turn, haha.

We are dancing to a strange tune with EFX that’s for sure.

Maybe it gets more catchy the more you listen to it.

And thanks guys for the good wishes, much appreciated.

  45. CannabisShroom says:

Tebow is not the greatest and is very inconsistent, but he has made plenty of throws that prove he has the potential. But the offensive line and the poorly called and executed running plays and inconsistent play from defensive coverage is why were so terrible. Not because of any quarterback, why are some people so blinded.
I believe can win against oakland under 2 conditions, our offensive line shows full force for the full time. The second is if our defense against passing will actually defend instead run with the recievers having a good old time.

  46. foxdizzlefoshizzle says:

really dont like seeing reporters so flippy floppy Kizla was PRASIING TEBOW when they won against miami. Now they he played a real team like the lions. and yes they are real people. champ got torched by Megatron. wideopen pass plays. anyways Kizla immediately changes opinion just to save face. Ive been trying to tell ill my dilusional friends who happen to be fans to wake up. itll be at least another 3 years before we can get any winning season going again. and that something were going to have to live with as broncos fans. Somestimes i think its the rest of the fans who dont allow any continuity because they are always whinning and crying untill they get what they want. So, heres tebow. are you going to run him out of town too when your done with him by the end of the year if that? again. wake up. weve been going down a spiral and denial is what everyone is in desperately reaching for something to hold on to make this franchise seem respectable. its time to be like the fan who said “the better passing team wins”. on e more time WAKE UP.

  47. sndvl says:

‘Sensitivity is for the weak’. Where’d you pick that one up? Your 12th grade philosophy teacher who double as an assistant on your high school football team. Or, I know. While riding the pine? No? Hmm. I give up. What wise sage provided you with that nugget…
You mention your brother has special needs. So that makes it ok for you to make an offensive reference (jokingly) that also has no place on an NFL blog.
Then the great comeback ‘mommas boy’. At least my mom raised me not to make fun of people who are helpless. And to stick up for those who are unable to do so for themselves.

You asked your type- Bully. Regurgitate on that

    Sensitive Ortonite Out

  48. 1nOnlyTRB says:

Back and forth on the blogs is a waste of time, ok for opinions but pointless for personal gripes. Believe me … I know.

Bay, You right … I was wrong about chargers … well technically I was right … I said they will find some way to come back and win and they shoulda but phillip rivers blew it Orton style or maybe that was rivers style since he is an accomplished choke artist. But yea, for the record, I almost always go for the long shots, and decide on emotion which is probably why I am wrong most of the time which is why i don’t blame on many for not jumping on with my opinions. But its sometimes more fun than saying the obvious like with Moreno or when it was clear Marshall was about to leave. Just a hopeful guy I suppose.

    Later days, TRB

  49. stevecan2 says:

hmm. bully. added another notch to what I have been called. I am sure censored for the blog. and yes my brother is full blown autistic. which is actually not considered retarded. that is what it actually comes down to, still don’t get it obviously.

good analasys of a person on a blog there wise one. your a joke.

  50. stevecan2 says:

your turn for the last word. seeing as how that is all your type care about. lmaoaplb….yes that is an acronym.
