    LMAO @ Carnage

  2. baylinorcrush says:

But it always brings me back to my point, and you already answered me so no need to do it again, but you went way off on a limb predicting 10-6, very much unlike you..

  3. CarnageBronc says:

My prediction of 10-6 was predicaed on the defense and Orton and neither have lived up to what I expected. I thought Fox would run, run, run and leave the game management to Orton. I figured the defense would be way better than it has been. The Miller and Doom combo has been for the most part ineffective this year so far. and we just are not getting the coverage in the secondary. I felt we would phase Dawkins out, we haven’t and the corner postion outside of Champ has been dreadful. So yeah, my prediction is horrible right now. Though I do think Fox has the team moving in the right direction. We just need to draft well.

I am well behind on my 9-7 season pic. the first five are a conbined 21-7 but the next five only 14-14, so I could gain somee ground. but I think I have over shot some, alot really. but we will see want the mighty tebow will/can do. we could go as low as 5-11 or as high as 8-8.

  5. baylinorcrush says:

9-2 and you’ll look like a genius once again!

  6. HardHitting27 says:

Good call Carnage, agreed on the value of the players. Even Tebow.
While I think a few could be worth more, it boils down to they need to prove their worth and show it on the field. Even Tebow. Which we finally will see.

I would like to see us jettison some more baggage in today and get some picks or players.

I didn’t get to post it in the blog about practice yesterday, but I though the picture of the QBs was interesting with Tebow, Quinn, Weber and Orton lined up in the photo in that order with Orton at the back. Sign of things?

  7. BroncWild says:

    Palmer is a Raider.

  8. Orange27CRUSHER says:

I am excited to be a BRONCO FAN again!!!

I hope Tim Tebow can spark us and that D Thomas can stay healthy!!!

    GO BRONCOS :)

    BRONCOS: 35
    FISH: 12

  9. baylinorcrush says:

BroncWild, it’s not a done deal some bloggers have been saying here, LOL.

  10. henryac says:

Enough talk, enough speculation, enough guessing, let them play and find out! Keep the good ones, whoever they are and lose the bad ones. Maybe they will make it, maybe they won’t but, at this point, there is no way of knowing who will rise to the top. I am interested in seeing improvement every week more than anything else. That and the attitude to win. High morale and motivation can overcome a lot of talent issues!

  11. CarnageBronc says:

Unfortunately Baylin I won’t if we go 9-2 with Tebow at the helm I am supposed to be eating “humble pie”

  12. baylinorcrush says:

Henry, agreed, but only if the team plays as a team and each player respects his assignements that’s how less talented players can come through and for all our rookies, Von included, that has been a major problem so far with the shortened off season, but it’s our only chance since we are so lacking talentwise overall, play as a team, get enthusiastic about the whole thing but do keep to your assignments, Bailey preaches that all the time.

  13. raidrhadr says:

I think the raiders are trying to give up way too much for Palmer. He has not played well since his injury in the playoffs vs the steelers. Also he has not been in action for a while too. He’s gonna be rusty and he has to learn a new offense. I think that makes the game in Oakland a winable one IMO.

  14. raidrhadr says:

not that I would be sad if the raiders get screwed in the deal

  15. baylinorcrush says:

You can’t win, haha, but who cares what everyone says, if I did I would of been gone long ago, thick skin is needed on the football field as well as on the Bronco blog, like Henry pointed out to this newbie blogger the other day, and I know very few over the years who have had this type of skin, seems as you’re one of those, so not feeling sorry for you, LOL. No one feels sorry for me either…

  16. raidrhadr says:

is the trade deadline 4 pm eastern today or midnight tonight?

  17. baylinorcrush says:

    The former

  18. raidrhadr says:

    gotcha

  19. Greatness007 says:

LOL JAy Glazier and Adam Shefler are having a Twitter fight. Over is Palmer deal done or on the verge. lmao This is sad!!!

  20. savinghyrule says:

I think both teams this weekend should wear their orange uniforms at the same time.

  21. Greatness007 says:

Now the Raiders are tryna get Vince young?? lmao this is funny

  22. Broncos Born & Raised says:

Oh man I hope the Raiders pick up Palmer. They’re a team that could be on the verge of AFC West dominance – unless they spend two first round picks on a 32 year old QB who has never won a playoff game LMAO. Make the deal!

  23. baylinorcrush says:

That our safety core isn’t very good, LOL.

  24. pokoya says:

My own look at the season for the Broncos, puts them between 6-10 to 10-6, with 7-9 feeling like the more realistic prediction. However, the game in Oakland against the Raiders doesn’t forebode well for making Division Championship, since the Broncos would be coming off a game against Detroit, while the Raiders would be coming off a bye…However, the quarterback change in Oakland does throw a monkey wrench into their plans, since their next three games are against Division opponents — Kansas City, Denver, and San Diego. If Carson Palmer does indeed start as quarterback for the Raiders, what an interesting question it poses, in terms of what can we expect offensively from the Raiders. Certainly an effort to establish a ground game. Check off type plays and screen plays to running backs and receivers to offset pass rush, and misdirection plays, including wheel routes, to keep Defenses honest. Somewhat the same direction I would expect the Bronco offense to be leaning towards. I don’t expect Mr. Elway to share his game plan against the Raiders, nor ask him to, but perhaps he could comment on how rapidly can an experienced quarterback be expected to be fully operational in a new offense, and what are the differences between Tebow and Palmer, in terms of the offensive adjustments being made in their respective cases?….Mr. Elway, I am not actually expecting, nor hoping for a response to these questions — but, it is, I think, an interesting issue, as well as a fascinating development, in terms of Bronco aspirations for the season!

  25. Greatness007 says:

BBR they gonna do it. And he gonna go in rusty and get hurt. Cambell is more mobile and got hit to much this yr. The WR in OAK are not polished for those timing routes Carson is used to with TJ and Chad. We will see though.

  26. baylinorcrush says:

Unfortunately questions for Elway must be asked on twitter.

  27. BroncosRmyReligion says:

    lol thx Bay

  28. Greatness007 says:

They traded a 1st this yr and a 2nd next yr that can turn in to a first depending on Palmer”s play.

  29. baylinorcrush says:

    Is it official yet? LMAO.

  30. Greatness007 says:

A Carnage if Urban Meyer comes out of retirement and take the Dolphins job. ( they gonna fire there coach) Tebow would go for more than a 3rd. lol

  31. baylinorcrush says:

OK, less than 4 hours of trading, who’s next?

  32. Greatness007 says:

If your feeling are hurt cuz I don’t go by ur post like the end all be all then sorry o make you feel that way. Sometime you make me think I’m older than you. Which I know is not the case. It’s not that serious even though you make it out to be.

  33. socalbigbroncofan says:

I heard matt forte might be on trading block. Any news on that. That would ne a nice pick up.

  34. baylinorcrush says:

I like what you’re saying 007, that way we can trade Tebow to Meyer and the Phins for Luck who they seem destined to pick plus give them our first. Sounds like a pretty perfect plan to unfold for Elway..

  35. Greatness007 says:

Why would the Bears trade Matt Forte. Yeah like Brandon he has not ext.. He is young though and still a value to them. What RB do they have after him that’s worth starting?

  36. baylinorcrush says:

It’s not serious at all, made me laugh all morning, Shefter tweets it’s official Palmer traded to the Raiders and I have absolutely nowhere the info he gets so I post it here and you guys kept fighting it, why? Whatever makes you tic…

  37. Greatness007 says:

Did anyone else see Marshall catch a pass break away and go out of bounds untouched. The fix is in. lmao

  38. BroncosRmyReligion says:

Trade DJ Williams for Asante Samuel. Even though we probably can’t afford but would love to see if happen.

  39. Greatness007 says:

I Say we trade DJ and BDawk to the eagles for not Samuel but a draft pick plus the other Cromartie. lol

  40. HardHitting27 says:

Trade DJ, Dawkins, and Orton to the Eagles for the a pick and Namdi. And we’ll also throw in the wasted pick we got from the Rams

  41. Greatness007 says:

They are disrespecting Champ on 1st and 10. They just dismissed his whole Career. Man I know Revis is great and all. But the best since Primetime is Champ hands down.

  42. HardHitting27 says:

For a pick that is. Not “the a”

Preferably a 2nd rounder, and Namdi

  43. baylinorcrush says:

Trade Xanders to the Packers for GM Fred Thompson.

  44. Greatness007 says:

HardHitting we couldn’t trade Orton for some extra Gatorade right now. Maybe a Pack of Now Laters but depending on the flavor. I wouldn’t give away a Pineapple or Cherry for him. Maybe a Banana depending is i still have the others. lmao

  45. baylinorcrush says:

You can be successful just this once Xanders, trade yourself, LOL.

  46. Greatness007 says:

I don’t think DJ would comand a 2nd maybe a 3rd. No 3rd no deal. We think DJ is good. The League thinks he is just ok.

  47. baylinorcrush says:

    I think he is bad.

  48. baylinorcrush says:

I’d take a 6th for him since we let go of Floyd for a 5th.
