The Broncos have signed wide receiver Brandon Stokley, the team announced on Monday. The 14th-year player rejoins the Broncos after catching 108 passes for 1,490 yards in three seasons with the team (2007-09).
“Stokely’s my guy,” wide receiver Eric Decker said at a press conference Monday morning. “He’s a savvy veteran. He’s been around the league for a while, so you can learn a lot from a guy like that.”
For his career, Stokley has appeared in 131 games and hauled in 339 passes for 4,680 yards with 34 touchdowns.
He reunites with quarterback Peyton Manning after the pair spent four seasons together in Indianapolis (2003-06). Stokley was a consistent target for Manning in Indianapolis, catching more than 40 passes in 2004 and 2005, the two full seasons he played for the Colts. In 2004, Stokley posted his most productive season as a pro, setting career highs in receptions (68), yards (1,077) and touchdowns (10). The duo earned Super Bowl rings together during the 2006 season.
Stokley, who hosted Manning on his free agent visit to Denver in March, arranged a throwing session at a local park while Manning was in town. The pair have worked out together on other occasions this offseason as well, including at Duke University where Manning was working under the his former college coach, David Cutcliffe.
Manning addressed the possibility of teaming up with Stokley in his press conference earlier today.
“Any time that the management wants to add good football players to this team, I’m all in favor of it – no matter what position,” Manning said. “I’ve heard that is a possibility and like I said, adding good football players, that’s a good thing.”
Broncos fans might remember Stokley best from his role in one of the most spectacular plays in club history. In the 2009 season opener, Stokley caught a deflected pass and raced 87 yards for the game-winning touchdown in the final seconds of the victory at Cincinnati.

Strand your welcome. Took me a while to find it. Got that info from at least 10 different sites.
Matthew Willis has officially been resigned…..UGH!!!!!
Kellen Moore is a winner!! I wouldn`t mind drafting him. At the earliest I hope its a 4th round pick for him. He`s a left handed Brees and accurate is heck, he`d learn alot from Manning.
Moore only threw 9 INTs this past year while throwing 43 TDs. Sacked 7 times! 74.3 completetion %
The reason they bood is because Yankee fans are Giants fans. It doesn`t matter who the QB is of the Jets, the Yankee fans all boo against Jet players.
Tebow definitely got booed, as they weren’t sitting next to each other at the time, and each were shown on the scoreboard during different innings. To be fair, I’ve heard some people say that Yankees fans are more likely to be Giants fans, but I know plenty of Yankee fans who are Jets fans, so who knows.. Either way, he got booed for sure, and not b/c of Wade.
AB, you answered my question, but essentially just by explaining my issue haha. I like them both a lot! I’ll be happy with either, but I get the feeling that we’ll get Brock over Kellen (just based on who we’ve been bringing in)
SW I do agree with that. I am set 100% that Brock will be the choice at 57 if he is there.
I could be dead wrong, but I have a feeling that Osweiler will be drafted in the 1st round.
Strand, I just don’t get the feeling that teams are looking at him THAT hard. Though I’m sure if the Dolphins miss out on all their QBs they’ll go for him
Strand that wouldnt surprise me. I have mentioned both Brock and Weeden going in round 1. At least one of them will be for sure IMO. Theres also Kirk Cousins that can be a 1st rounder. Brock by many is rated the 6th best QB this year behing Weeden (4) and Cousins (5)
It`s 50/50, Browns, Dolphins, and Eagles is my guess.
This is NOT a good stat, and something we need to correct ASAP….

I think the Browns want Weeden over Tannehill and the Dolphins want Tannehill. Eagles who knows. IMO Wilson is the bst fit for the Eagles.
Alot of variations at QB after Tannehill.
New blog everyone.
That would be a good match, Wilson and the Eagles.
I, am STOKED!!
More amo to beat the fadiers!!!!!!!!!!!!
