The broncos really need to step up on their defense. Their rush defense has been doing ok… other teams brake a big run every once in a while, However our secondary is giving away big plays every set of downs. They really need to step it up. I dont understand why our secondary is so bad though. I really dont. the Broncos have so many weapons on their defense that should shut a offense down, but the offenses we play are get huge plays every time they touch the ball. Maybe its our new defensive coordinator. I dont know but they need to figure it out. However I am really proud of their offense this year. They have really stepped it up and have found their groove. Not a single defense has been able to stop them yet and I dont see it happening. I think the Broncos will have a great game against the Cheifs. Their defense just needs to step it up.

THE BRONCOS APPEAR TO HAVE ANOTHER ELWAY ON HAND,
HOWEVER THE DEFENSIVE SCHEME NEEDS TO BE ADJUSTEDTO COMPLIMENT THIS HIGH POWERED OFFENSE OR WE MIGHT BE FACING TROUBLE DOWN THE STRECH. THIS DEFENSE WILL NOT MAKE IT TO THE PLAYOFFS.

In all seriousness, if we play our game and make the improvements from last week and play better defensively, we’ll win our second game in a row at Arrowhead. In the modern-day NFL you must score points to have a chance, so Kansas City’s sordid offense doesn’t bode well for the Queefs.

Man, I love being a Bronco.

Great to see such attention to what’s not working, and then working on it.

Defense…. It’s time to sack up and produce. We have the tools and opportunity to go DEEP into the playoffs.

I also agree that Stokley has yet to catch fire this year. When he gets going, it’s going to be scary.

Pick your poison defense, want to double up on Brandon? No, problem… we got Stokley and Scheffler waiting to pick up the slack.

I agree with blackburny, the way everything is going its exciting but if we don’t continue to be persistent a super bowl is picture less. its the forth game and we are starting to see which teams are playoff material I read Brandon Marshall staying focused are chemistry is high I understand players who don’t want to be hear are being cut I am starving and this year and the year after the NFL is feeding championship rings to the hungriest of the hungriest. this is about playing in the NFL and DOMINATING EVERY GAME not being the head coach of the broncos I can only say so much but if we can continue to be persistent and let are depth continue to learn and put pressure on are first stringers we can bring this Denver team to a juicy championship. one more thing you only get so many chances before your forgotten I have gone through a half a year with commentators trashing my team stating we will not be in the playoffs and even saying we are “LUCKY” who ever the dominate team is this year they will be lucky if they don’t have to face us you want to say cowboys are the #1 TEAM year ha THREE STRIKES YOUR OUT give it up there’s a new team taking the stage!

Good point. Why do we have such a “terrible” pass defense? It’s because we crush people and make them one dimmensional after the first quarter or so. Yes qbs were really efficient and did pile up yards, but that’s what happens when good qbs have to throw so many times to catch up. I prefer whatching games again and look for the good and bad rather than reading “expert” analysis. Improving our 3 downs D is key.

I’m with all of you on the scoreing I Love this year so far but too me I care more about the win even if we when 3-0 in the game i would be happy. We really need to win with or D that what great teams are made of. I’m not saying stop with the explosive scoring by all means if its there take. but there will be a time when our offence is just not there and D going to have to step up.

Just looked at defensive stats on NFL.com…….gee, i wonder WHY the Queefs have such a “great” pass defense???? Could it be that they are the second worst rush defense team in the NFL???? Look for Cutler to have an easy day slinging the ball, cuz methinks that we will be running the ball all over these losers.

5.5 yds/rush 204.0 yds/gm

Why bother to throw the ball? Hope Selvin, Pitt, and Dre all eat their Wheaties, cuz I can pretty much guarantee all 3 will get a LOT of work in on Sun.

This is a team we need to DESTROY. Enough of this “any team can win any given Sunday” garbage. The fact is, we are WAAAY better than this team and we need to come out and prove it! If this pathetic team holds us under 30 points offfensively or our defense allows over 17 points, it is time to pack it up and plan for an early playoff exit. Championship caliber teams don’t let games like this get close. Take care of business Broncos, and please stay injury free!
