Sixteen Broncos Popular in Pro Bowl Voting

November 28th, 2012 - 10:19am by Gray Caldwell

The last time we checked in on Pro Bowl voting, quarterback Peyton Manning was leading all vote-getters for the 2013 All-Star Game.

Two weeks later, that remains true, as Manning now has 586,523 votes — more than 30,000 votes ahead of second place, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.

Including Manning, 16 Broncos are among the top five at their respective positions for the AFC’s Pro Bowl squad.

Voting is still open through Dec. 17, and fans can vote as many times as they want.

Here’s a look at how the voting has shaken out so far:

Peyton Manning: 1st at QB
Von Miller: 1st at OLB
Wesley Woodyard: 2nd at OLB
Champ Bailey: 2nd at CB
Zane Beadles: 2nd at OG
Elvis Dumervil: 2nd at DE

So it looks like these are the ones with biggest chance so far to make the game. To bad they wont be able to as they will be getting ready for the SB.

Does it give anyone else Pause to think that NE was learning a new offense to anyone that wasn’t a Pat prior to ’08 (and very complicated offense at that) the first half of this season, and are averaging 40+ points per game over the last month plus?

I understand the excitement in Dove Valley as we have a very good football team, but I would feel as though I was not doing my due dilligence as a fan if I didn’t share these thoughts…

The more I think about this match-up the more I want it to happen! (Especially if we can get NE in Denver somehow and I see that as a legit possibility if the 9ers can upset the Pats and we handle the Ravens)

Atlanta vs T.B. game on NFLN again at 3:00 EST. Less than half hour. I might take a gander a little.

As a ‘Turtle’ crawls so does a ‘horse’ buck, and this bucking horse chooses the 49ers to kick the living crap out of Brady and his bunch. With that though, the Broncos need to win out 5 more in a row. A tall task to ask, but entirely possible if they want it. Each and every week the Broncos have left yards a possible points on the field with fumbles, missed catches, and inaccurate throws, with the latter being less than the other two. It’s time these fine athletes start executing their personal roles on this team heading into the playoffs two consecutive season. No missed catches Decker, no fumbles offense, no inaccurate passes. Oh wait, that’s Peyton Freaking Manning I’m talking about. Never mind…
