Just three weeks ago, Tim Tebow and the Broncos were featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated.
Now the second-year quarterback, who is 7-1 as a starter this season, has made the cover again.
The cover story, written by Jim Trotter, is titled “The Power of the Possible.”
“Tim Tebow has led the Broncos from 1-4 to the division lead with the craziest, most unlikely eight-week run in NFL history,” reads the description of the article. “It’s taken clutch playmaking, a newly stout defense and, most of all, unwavering belief.”

Can’t wait for the Patriots to get Tebowed……20-13 DEN
Only way we win this game is if we play from ahead..
DJ gets 2 sacks FF FR TD Int
Von gets 5 QB hits and 2 sacks 1 rough the passer Pen
Doom gets 2 sacks
Tebow 24-30 320 2TD 40 rush
McG 17-115
Ball 13-65
my bad lol i meant 27-20
Our team just keeps on keeping on. Man this is fantastic. The entire country is all about our Broncos. How long has it been since we had this kind of coverage. I know the media is making it all about Tim, but he is quick in every interview to let them know that this is the team believing and doing this as a team. This is fantastic.
risky, Von doesn’t need any penalties for anything having to do with hitting the qb. The league is scrutinizing those hits closely passing out fines, etc. now. Von has already paid 2 fines for that this season so they may do suspension next time and we don’t need that at all.

>>> Only way we win this game is if we play from ahead.
Can’t believe I’m actually disagreeing with this… but the Pats nearly blew a lead in Washington last week. Low 4th quarter confidence plus a shaky pass defense make them prime candidates for getting Tebowed if the score is close.
On the other hand, Brady is usually clutch. Maybe he can bail enough water to keep the sinking ship afloat until the clock reads 00:00. We’ll see.
Also, this is the first Bronco game since October that isn’t a “must win.” The Ponies should get some good experience against another playoff-caliber team, and that’s even more important than winning at this point.
ben_contrato,
Unless I am mistaken, they still have Tebow on a short leash. Meaning, they have not come out publically and said anything about him not being week to week.
With this in mind, I consider every week is a must win situation.
The other side of that coin is this…If they were to pull Tebow for anything other than an injury; the sky would probably be the lightest thing that fell on their heads.
I am loving that Denver is getting attention and they deserve it. Great team effort and great Tebow leadership…love how he credits everyone around him and is so humble.
I think Denver beats the Pats this week…I haven’t been this interested in Bronco football for awhile despite being a lifelong fan. There is a reason to watch each Sunday now!
When will Elway finally acknowledge Tebow? All of America has.
SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Man I am so gonna go get me one of these today
Lookin’ oh so fine Tebow, yum yum
LOL 007, Tim is the same age as my son and I in no way see him like that. I see a good kid.
>>> Unless I am mistaken, they still have Tebow on a short leash
You’re not mistaken… at least officially. It’s truly sad that Bronco management hasn’t been as openly supportive as Tebow’s teammates. But I think John Elway, as a rookie GM, is still learning the right way to deal with the media. Some of his comments may have come across too harshly (or maybe that’s just wishful thinking on my part).
However… I don’t think Tebow is week-to-week at this point in the season. It would be five kinds of suicide for the Broncos to bench him based on anything that could possibly happen in the Pats-Ponies game (barring injury of course).
Consider the situation back in week 3 of the Tebow era, after the 45-10 drubbing by the evil Detroit Lions. Tebow still started that week against the Raiders, thank God, and has won every game since.
new blog
If we can keep the pressure on Brady, we can win this game. Brady’s history shows that he can be badly rattled with constant pressure, hits and sacks. Get after that QB! Go Broncos!
hahahaha Shaztaz Im pretty sure Ashely is the same age as Tebow give or take a year lol. TRB
We need to make sure that gronk is getting cover none stop. Von and Doom needs to get brady DOWN. Tim needs to start off with a better game then he has all season. Willis will get his touches and i hope to run all over there D. This is going to be a signature game for us to judge on if we make the post season on how we might do. GO BRONCOS
well the target on tebows chest just got bigger, every defensive player in the league is going to be gunning for him, they all want to be the one that brought down tebow, the one that put THE hit on tebow..all becouse he has the nerve to believe in God, and all the media attention. but you can have to be a dog killer…or a girlfriend beater..or maybe shoot yourself in the leg in a nightclub. no worries they cover it for one maybe two days, then it goes away..but if he pulled out a carpet and prayed to allah..or had a pentagrak tatoo on his forhead, everyone would applaud him for his devotion……go figure…makes you go..hmmmmmmm. whats wrong with this picture…just saying.
pentagram..
its not just his beliefs that make him a good person, its his character..his personality..how he was raised…leave the mans faith alone..if people want to judge him. judge him on his abilitys as a football player. if you want to judge someone, look in the mirror first….
I am exactly 4 months OLDER than Tebow… I was born April 14, he was born August 14…. same year
Tebow is FINE…… hey lol
I was raised the same way as Tebow as far as his faith is concerned & his strong belief in God… just sayin. Because he’s become such a high profile figure in sports, he’ll be judged for everything he does & everywhere he goes. The media will have a field day with him for as long as he is in the picture, whether it be sports, his faith or his admirable charity work.
The vultures have found their prey….
@risky…as much as those stats would be nice to post for tebow…its far enough off tht we shouldn think bout tht…his best game is 202 yards…not bad but denver is takin on tom brady…not new england but just tom brady…he alone is a very “bad” man…one of the best and with the Gronk and welker at his disposial it could get ugly quick…even for the very tough denver defense…i would like to see champ get a pick or two but thats simpley wishing..i hope denver wins but this is one of the biggest ga,es mentally for Tebow
Not to split hairs, Sholey, but Tebow’s best game was this past Sunday against the bears: 236 yds. He’s gotten better every week.
Congrats to Tebow and the Broncos again for making SI
theres no way management can let tebow go..this guy is a marketing magnet!! his winning never-say-never will attract players here.
Mabey someone high up in the Broncos organization will issue another, anonamous source statement, to some random reporter and try to tear Tebow down some more. What if they just believed in the guy and started him from day one this year. Now all of that stuff they did to take Tebow out looks pretty stupid.
Of course (Kyle Orton did give us the best chance to win), Now you want to call Fox the coach of the year. Yeah, I don’t think people forgot all of that stuff. Not that it was Fox’s fault or anything its just frustrating for someone to work as hard as Tebow has and earn the respect and trust of his teammates, to have an organization seeming like they just wanted to get rid of him. Now they can’t. A ton of credit to Tim for keeping a good attitude through all of it and continuing to work hard and trust his faith. I think now this team is ready to move forward. It should be a good game against the Patriots. Go Broncos.
Drice97 sorry i am mistaken thanks for correctin me!!
but you have think yea sure he will probally put up a great game against what i think is the 32 ranked defense in the league but the offense is among the best with the Gronk and Welker as targets…and even if you cover them with Bailey and say dawkins on the Gronk or whom ever you please that still leaves hernadez…dont forget bout him just because hes not havin the year Gronk is havin as well watch out for branch and edleman both are big threaths if you juss turn your head to them
lets not bet on miracles anymore.
Offense: Score points, and score points EARLY.
Defense: Keep Brady on the sidelines !
this is our toughest challenge.
This time no Tebowmania…this time…BRONCOMANIA !
