Before appearing as a guest on the John Elway Show on 9NEWS KUSA-TV tonight, Head Coach John Fox met the Denver Broncos Quarterback Club, the official booster club of the Broncos.
The group has met every head coach in Broncos history, and tonight was the first meeting between the group and Fox.
On the show, Executive Vice President of Football Operations John Elway said that while the team would hope for a better record, it likes its standing at the halfway point of the season.
“Being a game out, we’re excited to be in that position,” Elway said. “Yesterday was our best football game of the year. The guys played with a bunch of passion and we made a bunch of big plays, which you have to do, especially on the road.
“To beat the Raiders in the black hole was also a very nice feeling.”
Tomorrow — Tuesday — Elway will join Broncos TV’s Chris Hall for another ‘Elway Live’ show at 2 p.m. MDT on DenverBroncos.com. Elway will discuss the team’s 38-24 win in Oakland on the live, online-streamed audio broadcast. The show is 30 minutes long and features fan-submitted questions for Elway.
Questions are currently being taken via Twitter and will continue to be taken during the show. To submit your questions, tweet using the hashtag #ElwayLive.
After the show, the broadcast will be archived to DenverBroncos.com and will also be available as a podcast through iTunes.

I thought how I feel would come through my writing, but thanks for asking, obviously much better, talked about it earlier this am.
You know how the newbies love to stand by Tebow, so here is a little love for my then man Elway:
How many times here have we heard Tebow fans telling Elway to remember how bad he played in his first year with the Broncos so give Tebow some time to prove himself.
Well what they conveniently forget to tell you is that we made the playoffs that first year with Elway.
Just trying to tell both sides of the story.
Thats why I got off the blog last night, the children were all out to play. No thanks, I`m not going to waste my breath. Fibve minutes with them is long enough.
I think trying to compare the two is preposterous anyways………
They are two different QB’s from two entirely different eras.
Five.
I appreciate those that are objective……….not fanatical one way or the other.
I think the only way to keep our sanity this year as bronco fans is to remain objective and look at the situation from all sides………..both positive and negative.
I hear you strand, 8 or 9 pm laetest and I’m out by design, haha.
Objectivity is called negativity in Bronco Country, I’m the living proof of it, LOL.
Hey Brian, I`m in the points also, -7 the wall of shame from week 1. I`ll get out of the cellar by years end. HaHa!!
Don’t make it worse strand, you are only -5.
LOL
killerkod, 3 points, got me by one point, better watch your back, haha.
isn’t that sad bay? Just cause we’re not happy with our team’s performance at times……..or the decisions they make does not make us less of a fan of our team………contrary to what some on this blog seem to think.
hahaha, you’re just waiting for my appearance on the WOS bay! lol
Ah, so the wall of shame is -5 then, OK. Got it. Nevertheless, I`m still getting out of the dungeon. Eight more games to get in the PLUS!!
Good to hear Bay… Elway is like my second Dad, but he struggled in a system that was established with a coach that had his players and his D in place… Considering there was no off season this year, the talent level of this team is not comparable to the ’83 Broncos, and Tebow is playing under a first year coach that didn’t hand pick him, I feel the playoff dig at Tebow is not entirely fair… I appreciate your point, and I hope you see I am not a Homer… Just very sick of the same redundant arguements being made over and over… Facts are Tebow is young, and will struggle… he may or may not prove to be a champion, but so long as he is here I will give him every benefit of the doubt, as I know you will…
I really don’t care how they view me or anyone else as long as I don’t get insulted about it.
We are on a 7-17 run the last two years.
We haven’t had a back to back win since Dec 6th 2009, 28 games ago.
We are last season’s second worst team in the entire league.
Anyone who finds reasons to rejoice over all that is doing it on pure massive orange kool aid consumption, not on objectivity, so screw them if they can’t take a look in the mirror, haha.
Tebow burned the raiders a few times with the option and sure looked like it help open it up for Willis.
Tebow might not be the most accurate passer but at least his bad passes are not interceptions.
The more he plays with these receivers he will get better
chemistry/timing with them.
Build the D line with this draft and let Tebow continue to grow.
Tim Tebow loves being a Bronco and will do whatever it takes to win.
You’re lucky, Elway is like my younger brother, LOL.
John Elway is an older brother that I look up to, even to this day. I graduated from high school when Elway graduated from Stanford.

LAST DAY for this FOOTBALL!
make that 1 day 9 hours!
I think Tebow continues to make it clear that we shouldnt label expectations on him… I expected another Detroit performance he didnt provide. Others expected a great performance he didnt provide. So how bout just analyzing what he’s done and not what we expect because he may never be like Stve Young
Nice to see you back cclose to full strength Bay!
Elway is like my mothers brother…..
I love me some Uncle Elway!!!!lol
Lol OC!
I can’t claim any relation, but he was always at our house on Sundays in the fall/winter (occasionally Monday nights).
Bronco_Turtle, before he suffered a season ending injury, Jared Crick was probably the best prospect not named Luck. DT from Nebraska.
I know someone already mentioned Jerel Worthy. He’s the real deal as well.
I’m sure another name or two will emerge as bowl season rolls around…
I found this link for possibilities. It hasn’t been updated since 9/24 and as I mentioned, a name or two will likely emerge in the next month!

Just noticed Willis M has been nominated for ground player of the week! (not surprised)
Ok Broncos Country…Do our thing!!!
GO BRONCOS!!!
Does the Broncos Vs. Raiders game reair sometime during the week. I was at the game and forgot to set my DVR to record it? I would like to see the TV version.
Tired of all the Tebow talk too. Just glad the Broncos won on sunday. Also glad to see Tebow step up a little bit in 2nd half. want to see him play out the rest of the season so we’ll know where we stand at the QB position going into next year. Totally stoked about the ground game too. Also heard alot of people talking recently about defense being a sort of achilles heel for Denver again this year, Alfred Williams made a point last week that made some sense to me though. They’ve moved up from being dead last a year ago to somewhere around 20th…roughly 12 spots improved. Isn’t that all we asked for? improvement? Looking forward to sunday at Chefs…can they pull a Dolphins and smoke the Chefs in Narrowhead? McD left a big mess for any new staff to come in and clean up…so let’s just hope Sunday was the beginning of some real improvement.
OC, thats classic. LOL!
