The Broncos filled the eighth and final spot on their practice squad Monday, adding rookie offensive lineman Quentin Saulsberry.
Saulsberry earned All-SEC Honorable Mention honors in 2011 as he became the only player in Mississippi State history to play and start in every one of his games as a Bulldog.
At the 2012 NFL Scouting Combine, Saulsberry said his biggest strengths are his leadership, relentless effort and ability to get “mean.”
“Being on the line of scrimmage — defensive line, offensive line — you have to have that mean streak in you, because it’s a war in the trenches,” he said. “You’ve always got to think about, the phrase we always hear is third-and-1, fourth-and-1. Who’s going to step up and make the play? Who’s going to be that person who makes their block? Who’s going to be that guy who gives up that play?”
Saulsberry is the only player on the practice squad that didn’t participate in Broncos training camp — he was signed by the Minnesota Vikings as a college free agent and was waived on Friday as the team got down to its 53-man roster.
Saulsberry joins tight end Cornelius Ingram, defensive lineman Ben Garland, wide receiver Greg Orton, guard Wayne Tribue, defensive tackle Sealver Siliga, running back Jeremiah Johnson and safety Duke Ihenacho on the practice squad.

Thanks for letting us know Gray!
Cat I will predict 24-17
Goodmorning Bronco Country!!!
And good Labor day to all. I have been extremely busy for about the last month and have peeking in every once in awhile.
Looks like a good team that has been put together for the regular season. My only concern is depth on the Oline. Glad to see them pick up a center on the practice squad.
My prediction for the season after they picked up Mannning was 16-0…of course they will have to stay healthy all season for this to happen. Being realistic i see us going 12-4 going into the playoffs. Manning will get stronger every week finishing strong.
The Orange Crush is back!!!! Look for the defense to create a positive number on the turnover ratio as we saw in the San Fran game.
Lets go Broncos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey Cat and Miller:
I was going to put in my prediction for this game as well.
Broncos 24- 13
I predict a 13-3 regular season record, with losses probable from Texans, Ravens and Pats
Saulsberry must be a beast to make the squad as a rookie off waivers.
I wonder if we plan to make any more changes to the squad
Score Prediction
Broncos 24
Steelers 21
Miller I was going t put that prediciton too and changed my mind @ the last moment. I hope BT checks the last blog! LOL
Hey guys as a warning… don’t get a #6 Osweiler Jersey. I have a feeling he will be 17 before he becomes he main man in Denver, but Caldwell has that Jersey now. If we trade Caldwell or he doesn’t stick around, Brock is going to take that number.
Miller, I picked the same score two blogs back. Great minds think alike. That from a guy who didn’t get any points last year.
that just sounds like a good number dont it, my first thought was 21- 13 but change my mind at the last minute lol.
Only Packers and Patriots bigger SB favs than us!

Dude looks like he can “get mean”! Seriously, I would NOT eat his last klondike bar.
Oh, and I say 30-17 Denver. Rotharape will taste turf 4 times ala Von Doom.
Denver 27 Pittsburgh 20
i would not get to excited about this guy. The Dikes need O lineman and they cut him and signed a O lineman that was cut by another team. So he did not empress them. I predict 11-5 for the season. loses to Balt, SD ,NO ,KC,NE. 23-20 PRATER from 54 yards for the win!
