I hope Tracy Porter get’s his health back soon! It would be nice to see him Vs. his old team! But definitely players safety 1st!

  2. brian_schneider says:

Does anyone know, if Porter’s illness is something he’s previously had and if the affects are long term or career threatening?

  3. sndvl says:

There is an article on the main page at Denverbroncos.com Brian!

    Give it a read

  4. oldsouthstander says:

Answer to question on previous blog. Yes, players do get to vote. They can vote only once and not for a teammate. Likewise HC, perhaps all coaching staff hget to vote with same restrictions as players vote. Pro-bowl selection is a combination of fan, player coach voting. Suspect fan voting has the smallest influence.

  5. brian_schneider says:

Ahhh, something must’ve been wrong with my cache or something because the last story I could see was Stokely. I got it figured out now. Thanks sndvl.

  6. sndvl says:

Haha… thanks OSS! I was being a bit of a smart aleck!!!! But really wasnt sure how that worked!
And no problem Brian. It was definitely a good read. I’ve dealt with a lot of seizure patients, of all ages, and it is always a harrowing experience for everybody who witnesses. Speedy recovery Mr. Porter. We Want you on the field, but want you to be healthy first!

On another note, I am on a desktop for the first time in ages…lol. And I noticed the poll on the home page. Asking about which of the 3 wins was your personal favorite. I HAD to vote the win against our archrival… but its only garnering 9% of the VOTES?…

That rivalry just ain’t what it used to be anymore! Happy Friday

    Broncos Country Strong 2012!!!

  7. RH709 says:

It is to me. I HATE the raiders and their fans. I live in northern CA so sadly I have to deal with them often.

  8. sndvl says:

Nice RH!!! Funny I still haven’t heard from my father since that blowout…

  9. alaskanbronco06 says:

I just watched an Interview with Von Miller and he was asked about his hip hop sack dances and he said a hip hop company met with him and told him every time he does a hip hop style sack dance they donate 1000$ to his charity Vons Vision I believe. Really cool thing to learn.

  10. alaskanbronco06 says:

Actually for pro bowl voting they have Player+coach voting fan voting and media voting each aspect is 33.3% of the selection.

  11. OrangeTsunami says:

Papa John’s Pizza will never hold a torch to NY pizza IMO (it’s true), but I fully endorse this company now that Peyton Manning is financially involved. It looks like Peyton is getting quite settled in the lovely Denver area, I hope this is a very fruitful investment for him, and that he ends up retiring in Denver. If I’m ever outside of this area, and need a pizza, this is where I’m getting it!

    Happy Friday!

  12. baylinorcrush says:

Tsunami, so you know Papa John’s has advertised in Texas for years with Jerry Jones, LOL.

  13. baylinorcrush says:

Don’t mean to ruin your pizza, haha.

  14. FTR says:

I like me some fader haters!!!
    FTR

  15. OrangeTsunami says:

As far as I know, Jerry Jones does not own any Papa John’s locations, but rather was paid for that awful commercial.. Peyton actually took ownership of a bunch of locations in the Denver area, making him vested in the company itself, big difference. Wonder how long until the Memphis Glizzles start offering Papa John’s at the arena – got to love it!

  16. baylinorcrush says:

Excuuuse me concrete jungle. The Cowboys alone for Jones is worth twenty times all of Manning’s worth, so that would make sense, LOL.

  17. FTR says:

    Hey Bay
Loved the link! What’s up? This is Friday night!! Where is everyone!!! Saints will be a good team to face after a BYE week. It’s time to see if Fox and players are prepared!!!!!!!! The Saints are better than their record!! We better show some improvement in coaching and play calling!! I think some good old run the ball in their face after getting a lead! That’s if we can hang on to the ball LOL!!

  18. baylinorcrush says:

Get ready to get wet, your concrete jungle may turn into a marsh, what a halloween this could turn out to be for you guys, reminder of the many hurricanes I lived through in Florida, don’t envy you one bit, good luck.

  19. baylinorcrush says:

    FTS for this week FTR.

  20. baylinorcrush says:

One thing I like about Jerry Jones is he doesn’t take himself too seriously, unusual trait in team ownership…

  21. Banned_inc says:

  22. FTR says:

I do not participate in the score contests but I would like to get your thinking of if you think we can get on a run going in to the rest of the season? It looks good to me but this has been a crazy season so far! I am sucking in my Pool

  24. baylinorcrush says:

On this Friday night, his blogging day, I’m going to try to help B F E. His latest handle has been found out again, tried to type it in and wouldn’t post, anyhow he would like bloggers he knows to send him their e-mails so he can keep touch, if you want to do so here is his e-mail; muddigger70@yahoo.com

  25. baylinorcrush says:

Heck yeah, the meat of the season is behind us and we’re 3-3 and I thought we would be 2-4. Thing is I had us finishing 10-6 nonetheless, so right there ought to tell you plenty that all along I thought we could make a strong run in the latter part of the season, and that feeling hasn’t changed one bit, 11-5 is not even out of the question as far as I can evaluate it now.

  26. FTR says:

I joined a pool that goes by the point spread not head to head! It’s crazy trying to pick vs the spread! I am not much of a gambler any way! I suck!!
    FTR

  27. baylinorcrush says:

The spread is what separates the boys from the men, LOL. When anyone starts betting serious monies they’ll get laughed at if they ask to bet straight up. I mean like this Sunday no problem taking the Broncos straight up but a bit more complicated when you need to give them 6 points…

  28. FTR says:

Thanks Bay. I will go see whats up with him now> Be back later!
    Muddigger that figures LOL
    FTR

  29. baylinorcrush says:

I’d still take the Broncos and give 6 points though, I think we are at least a TD better than the Saints.

  30. OrangeTsunami says:

Not sure why you had to bring Jerry Jones up, leave him in Texas please… LOL

  31. sndvl says:

What’s the beverage of choice tonight baylin?

  32. OrangeTsunami says:

All I’m saying is, if you’re passing through Denver, make to stop at Peyton’s Pizza for a slice.. Haha

  33. FTR says:

I am not betting any $ on every game! Just trying to have the best record at end of the season. Joined for 50 bucks. I will never see that again. Ha
    FTR

  34. OrangeTsunami says:

*make sure to stop at Peyton’s

  35. baylinorcrush says:

Anyhow, you take care too, I gotta go get some sleep, I’m going to the Austin record convention tomorrow, nothing but thousands of vinyl records brought in from all over the place and buyers come from as far as Europe and South America to look for precious hard to find albums, the largest such vinyl gathering in the world along with the one in Amsterdam, have my list of what I’m looking for, hope for some good fishing.

  36. baylinorcrush says:

Haven’t had any sndvl, got a huge halloween party tomorrow night I need to save myself for, comes a certain age you can’t do it on consecutive nights, haha..

  37. OrangeTsunami says:

As for the storm, bring it. These New Yorkers make such a big deal about the littlest weather.. Lol

  38. OrangeTsunami says:

Hopefully it won’t be too bad

  39. FTR says:

Good Bay I got some vinyl myself been keeping them for some time. Will talk to you later.
    Peace out
    FTR

  40. oldsouthstander says:

AB:Thanks for the correction. Forgot about the media.

  41. DaddyBronc says:

It’ll be pretty funny if the Bolts lose to the Browns! It’s a good chance for the SD to pull ahead again.

Anybody even interested in the KC / Fader game? Kind of sad, to me, to see our beloved AFC West in such shambles. Seems like the Broncs are considered a shoo-in.

  42. OrangeTsunami says:

Been so busy this week, I didn’t get a chance to read up on that storm much, but it looks like a big one. Hopefully everyone in its path will be ok.

Btw, great draft recap a few blogs back RH709 – I agree 100%.
