B_T: Would love to go with the Elk hunting trip if you don’t mind that, should I lose the bet, my monthly SSI check won’t allow me to donate a comporable amount. Otherwise, signed footballs would be great as there’s a rabid group of NFL fans in the U.P. and PM and Champ would be verey popular.

If I was DJ I wouldnt let up on my lawsuit either, especially when right after my suspension they fire the dude collecting samples or watever. Just like any lawsuit, sides don’t just offer pleas like (3 game suspension) out of the goodness of thier heart. Its usually because they fear they maybe wrong and can lose the case so they do it to save face. No side does the other any favors in lawsuits, the fact that they are willing to go down to 3 games simply means they could possibly lose the whole case. If DJ feels he was wrongfully punished, don’t blame him for standing for what he believes in. on a sidenote … so long McBean, hadly knew ya, never liked ya, and always did dumb stuff on the field for a minimally productive player. Bring on The Wolf.

    FTR you still alive bro?

  4. BeastFromEast92 says:

“Bring on the Wolf”,I agree TRB,unleash the Lycan!!!!!!!!!

  5. BeastFromEast92 says:

I agree with TRB,if they are cutting the suspensions in half, must mean they don’t feel they have a very good case,so D.J. could get off the hook!

  6. OrangeTsunami says:

Wolfe is an absolute animal, pun fully intended! :D

  7. OrangeTsunami says:

TRB – good analysis on the DJ case, I’m in agreement with you.

  8. OrangeTsunami says:

Atwater – good point as well.. I guess the case is high risk, high reward. Hopefully it all works out for the best and DJ get off scott free!

Check out the post draft presser, the GM should have a better understanding of what is fair market value, and we didn’t get it on those trades IMO… I like the idea of moving out of the 1st, but we should have been better compensated for doing so..

Forward to 8:22, Xanders says “big picture is trying to see if you can gain some value, and still get the same player a couple spots down.” That’s my point, we got “some value”, but we did not maximize that value IMO, especially if we got multiple calls..

Forward again to 24:32, and the question directed to the John’s, both turned and looked at Xanders w/o hesitation… Xanders even accidentally referred to getting a player on the phone.. He was in over his head, and you can tell even in his explanations, as he seems nervous or guilty of something, and his body language is clearly evident of this IMO.

    http://www.denverbroncos.com/multimedia/videos/End-of-Draft-Press-Conference/607063ff-87c5-4d96-957a-d9116561203e

IMO, I think the way these trades were handled, and specifically the return from the trades, not the idea of moving or the players selected, is what led to Xanders being let go..

  10. BeastFromEast92 says:

Well Xman got his chance and blew it is all I can say, some on here say he didn’t have any input on the draft,he did and dropped the ball,so he got the axe,so long Xman, the McD era is over!

  12. OrangeTsunami says:

Why couldn’t Xanders be fired today, when I’m not that busy……..

  13. BeastFromEast92 says:

Not much OT…..damn I think they love each other,LMFAO!

  14. OrangeTsunami says:

Pretty light news day today.. Guess we can’t really expect too much after yesterday, but I’m hoping at least for a few contracts worked out with our draft picks. Sign Wolfe and Hillman today!

  15. BeastFromEast92 says:

Yeah I at least expect a couple of signings.
What do you think about Blake?
You think he’s a backup or will he be fighting for a starting position,Walton gets pushed back a lot,Blake does not?

  16. FTR says:

    B.F.E
The family would not let me go back out. I was in time out!! Ha. So I’am chillin today. I was wondering why X man did not go same time McD did. Had to catch Elway up so he could then let him go. Time for a nap maybe catch you later tonight.

  17. BeastFromEast92 says:

Plus Blake supposidly can pass protect better than Walton OR Beadles,I hope Clady and Kuper are both healthy,we really need those 2 to be able to pass block consistently, especially since we will be pass happy this year.Franklin should have an easier job this year, considering he had the name that is not mentioned’s blindside last year!

  18. BeastFromEast92 says:

OK FTR,have a nice nap bro.

    LMAO@timeout

  19. BeastFromEast92 says:

Clady will step up and protect PM’s blindside,I look for him to get back to All Pro status,he’ll prove he’s the best LT in the game this year!

  20. OrangeTsunami says:

I like Blake a lot personally, and I think he will compete for a spot somewhere, as he can play a few positions. Clady should be good to go, but I am a little concerned with Kuper, b/c that was a nasty break.. Hopefully he’ll be good to go as well. With Blake, both Beatles and Walton will be pushed and that’s a great thing. Also, Franklin will be that much better this year, so all in all, I think we have some pretty decent depth on the OL this year.

  21. OrangeTsunami says:

Having a guy like Blake, who can play both center and guard is a great asset to have. I also love how he blocked for RGIII, as that cat was all over the place.. You have to be pretty agile to block for that type of QB. I hear he’s smart too, which is a must for OL

  22. OrangeTsunami says:

Not sure if I like Osweiler wearing #6.. Also just realized that my boy Mark Dell is sporting #15, although I still have Dell making the team this year, although, he might be traded if he keeps that number.. Lol

  23. strandOFTDS says:

I wonder when we are going to sign our first player we drafted? Some players around the NFL are signing their contracts.

  24. strandOFTDS says:

Good to see Tide post this morning. Looks like she knows her Word, nice to know. Tim Tebow is as pure as they come. He`ll be the first to tell ya that he needs Jesus as his Savior every waking second because he IS a sinner. Timmys doing GREAT WORKS for GOD!!

It’s been a while since we had a new blog. Getting bored with the same one…

Interesting read about Mannings chances for success in his comeback year :
    http://sports.yahoo.com/news/nfl–former-mvp-qb-knows-well-the-challenges-peyton-manning-faces-with-broncos.html

I dont think he will struggle one little bit – he will have the offense ready and in position for the start of the season.
What do you think of validity of the arguments against success brought up in article?

  26. londonbronco30 says:

Would he be an upgrade over the nickelbacks we already have …… Perhaps
I dont know enough about his talents to comment anyhow – never watch buffalo except when playing broncos

  27. BeastFromEast92 says:

lb30,that was Gannon and he played for the Faiders, totally different player we’re talkin’ about here, our Oline can protect PM,plus PM is a Helluva lot smarter than Gannon,he will have our Offense sailing top notch, imo.

  28. BeastFromEast92 says:

If he was any good why would the Bills cut him,it ain’t like they have an abundance of DBs they can afford to throw away.I think Champ,Porter, and Harris will play great!unless we wanted Florence for depth.

  29. BeastFromEast92 says:

I think our biggest question marks on Defense,(if Wolfe pans out) are Safety and LB,we don’t have any that can play coverage worth a crap, that’s what got us torched last year in the big games,GB,Detroit, and the Pats smoked us,only thing we can hope for,is to get to the QB faster and rattle him, hopefully with Wolfe and a healthy Miller, and JDR at DC,we will GIT-R-DONE!

    B.F.E.

  30. strandOFTDS says:

B.F.E. I think Omar Bolden is going to turn some heads this year as one of our premiere new CB`s.

  31. BeastFromEast92 says:

Yeah strand I forgot about Bolden,if he’s healthy,we have Champ,Porter,Harris,Sid,Vaughn,Bolden, and hopefully Judie makes the squad.I think that is a good CB tandem with good backups!

Heck maybe we could move 1 or 2 to help out at Safety?

Maybe EF thinks we need more depth, going after Florence?

  32. DaddyBronc says:

OT – appreciate your gracious reply. I understand those who are all optimism and don’t wish to hear from any debi downers. Fact remains – Elway has no plan B – as the article above explains extremely well.

London – I hope you don’t mind me reposting because the article is right on with the Manning reality.

He may come in and become the comeback player of all time. Then again – he might not and we (ELWAY) has gambled all the bananas.

Sorry OT – can’t quit saying so until Manning proves otherwise! Not as an ‘in your face’ / ‘don’t care what you think’ – but an honest opinion.

  33. OrangeTsunami says:

No worries DB. Tensions have been running high around here as of late, but like I said, the blog would be pretty boring if we all just agreed on everything all the time.. Good thing we’re definitely not at risk of that! Lol. Perhaps I overreacted, along with others, and I think it’s heathly to debate things, consider opposing views, and maybe we all need to try and not take things so serously, b/c afterall it’s all for fun!

So, hate on my brother, and I’ll be here ready to serve you and BT an awful large helping of crow! :P

  34. OrangeTsunami says:

Fpr the record, Elway was quoted as saying he had no plan B, before drafting Osweiler. Grated, I doubt Brock is ready this year, but by drafting the kid, there is the making of a plan B, so in my opinion, it’s a half-truth..

  35. bronco15 says:

    lets go wolf

  36. BeastFromEast92 says:

Oz is a 2-3 year project, imo.I wished we had a better backup than Hanie, idk if he is any better than Quinn was?

OT…I’ll help you serve the crow, lol.

BTW,if Elway had any doubt that PM couldn’t play,he wouldn’t have gone after him, that’s why no plan b,but by drafting Oz,he will be ready in maybe 3-4 years for him to take over,PM will be ready in 2012 and beyond!

Funny how DB posted the same Manning article 9 posts later,HA!

  37. BeastFromEast92 says:

    HA…DB your link don’t work,what’s wrong?…..guess you’ll have to post it again,LMFAO!

You gonna redo the whole post or just the link?…LOL.

  38. DaddyBronc says:

I’d love to see big O play too – I think if we do see him – we’ve thrown in the towel on the season.

OT – hate! hate! hate! – you sound like those driving the gay agenda…LOL anybody that disagrees is a hater.
(BTW – had a sister that spent 11 years married to a woman – had the invetro baby and the whole works – she has come out of all that and is on the hunt for a husband and a father for her daughter. I can talk – as I have walked that road from end to end.)

    I don’t hate Manning –
I just don’t think Manning is worth 20 million +/- – I don’t think we have brought in the Manning that everyone thinks we have – I don’t think it was a better decision than sticking with Tebow (the winningest 2nd string QB in the history of the NFL) – I don’t think I would put my reputation on the line were I a team doctor / neck-nerve specialist / ….etc. for what used to be.

I do hope I fall head over heals in love with Manning in the coming years – don’t ask me to be there before we have seen anything!

  39. DaddyBronc says:

Sorry – it is an exact copy and paste – scroll up to Londons post it still works there. (Dang prejudiced posts, mumble, grumble, stupid computers, etc, etc, etc!!! LOL)

  40. OrangeTsunami says:

Lol beast! You got any crows out there in the country? We got to start stockpiling now for these guys!

  41. OrangeTsunami says:

    I love me some Wolfe!

    ILMSW!!!

  42. BeastFromEast92 says:

Hell yeah OT,I just seen a huge one in my front yard, you better have some extra big plates,LMAO

Just say when and I’ll get my shotgun, lol.

  43. OrangeTsunami says:

Looks like SD came to term with Ingram.. Can’t believe he dropped to them at #18, thought he would have gone earlier. A lot of people out here are upset that the Jets passed on him.. The one knock on him is that he has short arms, so hopefully his game won’t translate to the NFL.

  44. BeastFromEast92 says:

My neighbor put a bounty on a ground hog’s head last week, told me if I killed it he would buy me a case of Bud Lite,it is diggin’ up around his barn, that little bastard is mine,I’m claiming that there bounty,LMAO!

    B.F.E.

  45. DaddyBronc says:

OT – and I know how to eat crow! Out here in California we have a limit of 24 a day. I know how to barbecue crow up good and tasty. LOL

and if it’s necessary I will serve it up as tender and juicy as needed so that it slides down easy – LOL back at you!)

  46. BeastFromEast92 says:

    I don’t know OT,I’ve watched Ingram play,he’s a baller man,and a Beast!!!

I can’t believe we passed on Upshaw, but Wolf works for me,we needed a Beast like him inside!!!

  47. BeastFromEast92 says:

    LOL@DB….eat many?
