On this day seven years ago, our nation was attacked.
This we all remember.
I would like to take the time to thank all the men and women who serve our country, continuing to keep us safe from harm. We need to remember that since 9-11, we have not been attacked, thanks to those brave soldiers who choose serve so we don’t have to.

The flags at Dove Valley will fly at half mast today, in honor of those who died on September 11, 2001, and those who have died in service to the United States since.
We truly appreciate the sacrifices you have made, and for that, we thank you.

“What we do in life….echoes in eternity”
Recently I added that as my signature on my text messages. I think that today of all days is a day that we should be able to reflect. Christopher Columbus has a day and he didn’t do anything but get lost. My momma gets lost twice a week and she doesn’t get anything close to a holiday. Valentine”s day was created by Hallmark to break men’s wallets. Then to get the woman there is something called “Sweeties” Day, and I won’t touch that with the ten foot pole used at the recent Gay Pride parade in New Orleans. I wonder what they needed that pole for? OOOOOOHHH!!!! EWWWW!!!!! But seriously I think that on today, a day as random as the 11th of September when something so deliberate happened, we should all look back at how our lives have changed. Both for the better and the worse. It is a day where black and white, christian and atheist, poor and rich in this country can see eye-to-eye and realize we are all human and that life is precious. It is our tragedies that make us strong enough to endure until our celebrations, it is our failures that help us move on to success. Our losses make room for our gains, our turmoil that helps us enjoy our peace. On today, reflect on your life’s tragedies, failures, losses and turmoils and find solice in knowing that peace, prosperity, success and above all joy is sure to come. I pray for all those that lost on 9/11/01 knowing that I pray for everyone, because we all lost on 9/11/01.
