It would always be nice to have them but they are not needed. Get rested boys, the big games aren’t till later on.

RH – I saw your post about Rivers’ throwing motion. What are your early impressions of Osweiler? I’ve heard several people compare Osweiler to Rivers in regards to their throwing motions, although I noticed Brock seemed to have a more corrected motion later in the preseason. I really hope we get a big lead in one of these last few games, so we can see the kids progress..

I was at last weeks Raiders game so I took the time to watch Osweiler during warm ups instead of Manning.

The throwing motion looked fine to me and his accuracy wasn’t in Mannings territory but it was NFL starter territory.
The flaw I saw in Osweiler, and I am sure this is even more exaggerated cause manning was throwing passes right there too, is he was throwing the ball late. He wasn’t anticipating the receivers break and making the throw before the break. He was making the throw at the break. I think Manning and the coaches will coach him up but that was the most glaring issue. In this league you can’t wait, you have to anticipate and throw.
