With just three weeks of fan voting remaining, the Broncos currently have four players in the top five at their respective positions for the AFC squad at the 2010 Pro Bowl.
Of those four players, one is tops at his position, two are in second and one is in third.
Champ Bailey remains the highest vote-getter among cornerbacks in the AFC. His teammate in the secondary, Brian Dawkins, is No. 2 at the strong safety position behind Pittsburgh’s Troy Polamalu. Elvis Dumervil is second at outside linebacker behind a Steelers player, as well — James Harrison. Eddie Royal rounds out the current list of Broncos in contention for the Pro Bowl, currently third at kick returner behind San Diego’s Darren Sproles and Cleveland’s Joshua Cribbs.
The last time the NFL sent out a Pro Bowl voting update, Ryan Clady, Matt Prater and D.J. Williams were fifth at their respective positions. They are not listed this time around — so that simply means Broncos fans should use the next few weeks to continue to vote in their favorite players. Remember, there is no limit to the number of times fans can submit a ballot.
Balloting for the 2010 Pro Bowl will conclude on Monday, December 21 following the conclusion of Monday Night Football. The teams will be announced at 2 p.m. MST Tuesday, Dec. 29 on a special NFL Total Access 2010 Pro Bowl Selection Show on NFL Network.

clady better go. So should DJ. and Elvis is getting robbed by bein put behind James Harrison. How can the league leader in any statistical category not be first in voting at their position group? popycock…
I cannot believe that Ryan Clady is not one of the top tackles in the voting. I think he is one of the top 5 tackles in the entire NFL (not just the AFC). It will be a shame if he does not make the pro bowl again. He should have made it last year and he should be a pro bowler this year.
Come on guys, get in there and VOTE, VOTE, VOTE for our boys that deserve this award!!
See this is why i think the fans should have little to do with who goes and who doesnt, the majority of ppl who vote just vote from the bigger name. Polamalu has barely played this year and he’s ahead of Dawkins? Who has been lights out so far??
And name me 4 more deserving LT’s than Clady, I cant think of one!
And of course you have James Harrison, a bigger name than Doom, so of course he’s going to be the top vote getter, even if Elvis somehow got 30 sacks this season he still wouldnt be the top vote-getter… its flawed like that
You guys hear the falcons let go of jason elam?? craaaazy
Guess his best years were as a Bronco..he just couldn’t “kick his way out of it” as Elam put it.
Just finished voting again. Can’t believe Clady and Brandon Marshall are not in the top 5. Do something about this.
I hate it when people vote due to a player’s reputation instead of how he plays on the field. The notion of Clady not being in the top 3 is ridiculous, so I don’t even know what to say about him not being on the leaderboard. The same goes for Williams, and Prater should at least be top 5. Dumervil should be in first- he LEADS THE LEAGUE IN SACKS!!! People are only voting for Harrison because he was Defensive POY last year. Champ is right where he should be, and Dawkins probably isn’t behind Polomalu by much- both are integral to their teams’ defense. Royal is better than Sproles, he proved that much in the first game against the Chargers. Why the heck isn’t Weigmann mentioned?!? He is an awesome center! He’s been handling every nose tackle we go against (does the name Albert Haynesworth ring a bell?). Kuper should be on there too. The rest of our OL hasn’t played every game, so that’s probably why they don’t have many votes. We have a ton of players on defense that are way underrated, too, which is a shame. Hopefully when it goes to the coach and player voting part things will be straightened out.
And Marshall! Why isn’t he top 3? That’s foolishness!
footallMANIAC, Marshall isn’t in the top three because we’re just starting to use him like we should be. His standing should change soon.
honestly I could care less about the pro bowl this year and every other year for that matter
I do like to watch the Pro Bowl. Cutler’s “Fumblerooskie” was pretty fun to watch. It is just a fun time and for the players, while they do get a little bonus if they win, it is a chance for them to just have fun playin’ football not worrying too much about winning or being too serious. Its like the Pro version of backyard football.
I don’t like it however because it gives players a reason to holdout for more money.
Go Broncos!!!!
my only concern about the pro bowl is that the potential exists for players to get injured. i dont know about you guys but the last thing i want to see is one of our top guys go down. could you imagine if marshall or bailey or dawkins blew a knee out playing in the pro bowl?
just my 2 cents
Go Broncos
“DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS”
@rayjr26: Yeah I hear ya there. That’s also why some don’t choose to go and then the 3rd or 4th most votes gets to go. It almost seems like the Pro Bowl is more of a liability than an honor.
Go Broncos!!!!
Broncos fans are just not getting the job done in my opinion. There are way too many of us for our guys not to be 2nd or better at each spot in the Probowl.
i agree 100% with fans not voting cause hes right every1s to biased. b.marsh despite losing his pro bowl qb (who cant complete a pass to his own team for his life) has still put up top numbers this year. Ryan Clady gave up .5 sacks last year and was not put in the pro bowl. i think if any 1 should pick its players and coaches. or a set by stat leaders. I think it should be Clady Dawkins Doom and champ running up 1st team off the broncos… B.Marsh in second and royal third for returner
Pro Bowl voting sucks. I hate it. Players should be in Pro Bowls because they’re the best, not because they’re the under-the-radar guys. Ryan Clady should be there without a doubt. I could even make a good argument for getting Brandon Marshall in there as well. I wish DJ Williams got his Pro Bowl, the guy is a Pro Bowl caliber linebacker, but he flies under the radar as well…
