After an average of 12.3 million people watched the 2010 Pro Bowl — the most for a Pro Bowl since 2000, and a 40-percent increase from 2009 — next year’s all-star game will follow it’s predecessor’s lead.
The 2011 Pro Bowl will again be held the week before the Super Bowl, but it will not be played at the site of Super Bowl XLV — Cowboys Stadium in North Texas. Instead, it will head back to Honolulu, Hawaii, where it had been played consecutively from 1980-2009.
The return to Honolulu is part of a two-year agreement between the NFL and the state of Hawaii to play the 2011 and 2012 games there.
Next year’s all-star game will be televised live on Sunday, January 30 at 5 p.m. MST.

Thanks BFE, for making me feel that I may not be a complete idiot, LOL. Sorry, man, I know how you, TRB and many others love Marshall, but this trial he is going through is just the icing on the cake for his demise, he would be much better off in another state after finger pointing a gang member for murder. It will be the best thing for him, other than the witness protection program, which would be impossible for him and by the way something another witness in the case has already opted to do because he is fearing for his life. It’s all too crazy, we need to move on from all that.
cody, the deadline is tomorrow.
Baylin, no hard feelings man,I just wished we could keep Marshall, put it all behind us,and THEN move on,but whatever will be will be,we still agree to disagree sometimes,it happens.
It’s gonna be fun Friday huh????
Unreal, sndvl has already bought himselves beers for it and he will even make his famous Bronco dip, whatever that is, LOL. It’s just like tailgating, definitely right up there with draft days.
himself
I will have to get his recipe for the dip,but I can get my own beer.LOL
Just about every expert has said there would be very little action this year in FA, in our case I still don’t buy it, there will be plenty is my guess.
It will definitely be interesting,I just hope we have more good deals than bad ones, assuming we will, considering how good McD did in FA last year.
Yeah, you’re over 21, just like me, LOL, not everyone can say that here.
Been buying it since I was 12.LOL
No wonder you’re so weird, LOL, just kidding of course. I gotta go get some chow, later.
Yeah theres some still a little wet behind the ears.I learned a few things myself today though, who says you can’t teach an old dog new tricks???LOL
Later
baylin, you sure know how to shred the hopes of marshall fans, like myself,,,aha,,,not that you were trying….LOL….i pictured those 1st round tenders as a sign of good things to come….
i’ll go back to the waiting game once again…lol
i like wilfork, but not crazy enough to use up all the clip for him…if we could pull something amazing in the draft, i’d be happy….wont jinks my wishes..aha
If we get rid of Marshall we need a helluva lot better QB than Orton, since he won’t have his star WR to throw to,he’ll probably throw more picks than TD’s.LOL
Hey we can’t be right all the time i read on another article you only get 1 high tender but i guess it was wrong.
then again,,i’d like to see us go after Jarvis Green or Marcus Spears if they are available…and draft Williams or Cody along with Lamar Houston…
an awesome D-Line would be (Spears(6’4 309)—DanWill/Cody(both massive)—JarvisGreen/Lamar Houston) IMO
I’m with you broncos20,it’s all about the D,but we could use a cople of OL too.
couple
oh yea BFE92,
i almost forgot the need for O-linemen…i’m just assuming we keep Kuper,,then we’d worry mostly about a C and a RG, if Kuper was playing LG.
BRONCO DIP-
Perfect for gameday, tailgating or anytime the situation calls for a side dish. The recipe is a family thing, which I have no problem sharing. The only requirement is if you decide to make it, I want to know how it turns out! lol
2lbs. of ground beef (ground turkey if youre watching your waistline)
1lb of Velveeta (if you can find the mexican velveeta, it adds a little spice)
1 four ounce can of diced green chilis (optional)
1 bottle of La Victoria red taco sauce
Crumble and fry ground beef. Drain the grease. Add cheese, chilis (drained) and taco sauce. Simmer over low heat until all cheese is melted. Serve with corn chips.
I prefer tostios with a hint of lime. However, for those who are serious about gameday, you can use BLUE corn chips, as the dip has an ORANGE color to it!
Enjoy BRONCOS COUNTRY 2K10!!!!!!!!!!
awesome sndvl
Wanted to poitn out a guy that has been getting alot of buzz based on his combine performance.
Montario Hardesty
He wasnt quite a power back and wasnt quick a home run hitter. so he bulked up before coming to the combine. put on about 10 pounds and now stands at 6feet 225 pounds putting him more into the powerback category. What is amazing is that he still ran a 4.49. His other numbers were up there too. He was slated to go in the 4th -5th round…maybe 3rd round now. Many believe he will make it at the next level. If he is around late, he might be the guy we need. He is considered a one cut down field kinda guy

Heres some video on him. before the 10lb weight gain

What is the big deal about unrestricted free agents vs. restricted free agents?
Typically, a player, such as Broncos outside linebacker Elvis Dumervil or Chargers wide receiver Vincent Jackson could test the open market once his contract expires after four seasons. But with no salary cap, they can’t be unrestricted free agents until after six seasons. So, if no deal is struck by March 5 and we go to an uncapped year, they will be restricted free agents, meaning their teams can place tenders on them to allow themselves the right to match any offer and receive draft-pick compensation should they not match.
A team can place a variety of tenders on its players, with the highest being compensation of first- and third-round picks, a first-round pick and descending draft selections. Because of this, the unrestricted free-agent pool could be reduced by more than 200 players, many of whom are in their primes and could be difference-makers, like Broncos wide receiver Brandon Marshall. Most of the top unrestricted free agents are closer to 30.

so be my understanding of this, we could have asked for a 1st and a 3rd for one or all of our free agents.
Fran tag on a WR is 9.521 mil and one on a LB is 9.68 mil If denver had put tags on Marsh or Doom that is what we would have paid. Is any one going to give a 1st to denver and still pay 10 mil? (not that they have to) that is the question Because you know that is what the players will want. so I say we end up keeping Marsh. If a team offers 5 mil to him we can still match it or take that teams #1 in 2010. McD and X know what they will pay to keep him and if a team goes over that they will let him go and pick up a 1st.
sndvl,thanks for the recipe.
TRB,watched Hardesty play a LOT,being from Tenn,he can put on quite a show he’s definitely got what it takes to play in the NFL,he had like 1300 yds and 12 or 13 TDs.If he put on 10 lbs and still ran 4.49…WOW
Doom looks like a runt in the photo, but all in all, theres a HELLUVA lotta talent in that picture…
i hope someone takes orton for his sake
U and me 2
Be nice to get a #1 outta him,so we can have another pick to get a real QB.
yea, and if he bulks up a bit more, if 225 isnt enough to liks 230 maybe 235, he may not lose a step or too much of a step but i think he is good at 225. same weight as beanie well s and he seems to get by lol
I hope all the guys hoping to get rid of Orton dont mind when we draft a Qb and he throws picks like raindrops and cost us games Orton aint the best but he is alot better than alot of Qb’s out there
i’m pretty sure a QB who throws his first interception of the season to Randy Moss isn’t a bad QB
I know plenty of Chicago fans who would love to have Orton right now
They can have him back for a #1 pick.LOL
The Bears got rid of Pace, now Cutler’s going to be in big trouble if they can’t fill that gap.
That’s 4 sure
Thanks for that Bronco dip recipe sndvl. I just have a suggestion. The green chile should NOT be optional IMO, and I suggest using Bueno frozen diced green chile (hot not mild!) if you can’t get any fresh roasted where you are at. I will try it out soon and let you know!
I read that restricted free agents have to sign a tender by april 15 – what happens if they don’t sign their tender and another team doesn’t make an offer?
Ha ha. Cutler was in trouble even before the Bears got rid of Pace.
