Pressley Joins D-Line

August 17th, 2011 - 3:22pm by Gray Caldwell

The Broncos on Wednesday were assigned defensive tackle DeMario Pressley from Indianapolis.

The N.C. State product appeared in one game with the Houston Texans last season — which just so happened to be against the Broncos in Week 16.

Originally a fifth-round draft pick of the New Orleans Saints in 2008, Pressley missed his rookie season after being placed on injured reserve in late July.

The 6-foot-3, 301-pound lineman played in seven games for the Saints in 2009, notching 15 tackles during the regular season and two more in the postseason run to Super Bowl XLIV.

NOW we have “ELVIS” (Doom) and PRESSLEY on our D-line = LMAO!!!

That is OUTSTANDING = one for the money, two for the show, three to get ready, and four to go!!!

Nice call. Nice pickup. He actually can run and looked like Fairley in college. Not as dominant, but he showed spurts.

  7. broncosfreak30 says:

    Hahaha, that’s good true!

Let’s hope Pressley comes in and really impresses and makes the team!! We couldn’t break up Elvis and Pressley now could we?? :)

Well they said that Irving had the best play of the defense the whole camp but I guess that just got nullified!

Wesley Woodyard makes the defensive play of camp, leaping in the air to deflect a pass w/one hand, then finishing the INT from the ground.

Would adding McCarthy to the lineup improve def.? Seems we need more speed and energy. Dawk & McCarth wouldnt keep up with speed of KC. Maybe in future but not now. I liked him in ND, hes a ‘Player’.

Clady dinged up at practice. Apparently he was pulled from practice and I’m not sure if he returned or not.

I think with the addition of pressley and our other DT’s we will surprise alot of people this year…I strongly feel that these people will come in and perform for us in a very positive way.

jesus not worried about the d-line now this guy is a beast i bet anything fox will make this guy into a star loving fox already someone goes down they actually replace him unlike our old idiot of a coach

  15. lexo1998 says:

are u guys serious, this is other teams scraps, this guy is lucky to make it as the waterboy! What we should have done is spend some real money like all the other good teams and put a real D-line out there, not these underachievers!

What does assigned by Indi mean. Wat it a trade? Was it lease loan like Steve Tinsley was? What, does anyone know.
