Haha, yea I just try to look at everything realistically!! All the critics and fans always bashed McD but they had a reason to do so! I do not see that ever happening to Gruden! We need Gruden and a great defensive defensive coordinator, maybe Nolan or Wade.

Beast- I have thought that we have always usually agreed on everything the other has said! But then again we have been on here for a few years and there have been SOOO MANY topics talked about! Haha, so I am sure we haven’t 100% of the time!

  2. BeastFromEast92 says:

Nobody agrees on everything all the time if we did, there would be no sense stating our opinions.

  3. BeastFromEast92 says:

Hell who knows maybe Studesville will finish out 4-0 and become our new HC,crazier things have happened, but I doubt it.

  4. sndvl says:

Nolan, Kubiak, Rob Ryan, Dennison, Jim Harbaugh.

As long as Elway is involved, I’m happy!!!

  6. broncosfreak30 says:

Well the Denver Post has reported that Troy Calhoun removed his name from consideration of being the Broncos next head coach!!

  7. BroncofaninATL says:

“Everybody forgets that Gruden took the Raiders from 4-12 to 12-4 in just 3 years, that’s coaching”

Good point Beast. I had forgotten that he coached the Raiders. I wouldn’t be disappointed if somehow we can get Gruden. One thing is for sure, he would clean house on the defensive side of the ball. Tebow and Gruden would be a force to be reckoned with, no doubt.

I’m sure Mr. Bowlen has his hands full trying to decide who to hire in the near future. Hiring a new man that can handle the stress and strain of being a HC in the NFL is a tough decision. I’m sure when they hired McD the thought was that if he succeeded, he was young enough to spend many years in Denver.

  8. broncosfreak30 says:

    Yea BroncofaninATL..

That is another reason why I think we should bring in Gruden!! He is only, I think, 48 or 49 and sure doesn’t look like it! So if he comes in here, he could stay for a long time like Shanny did!!!

  9. strandoftds says:

Gruden loves Tebow. Bring in CHUCKY!!

  10. strandoftds says:

I think Tebow will get alot of playing time from here on out.

  11. BeastFromEast92 says:

Gruden is an Offensive minded coach, but DOES emphasize great Defense.I think a year in the booth will only make him more knowledgable of the game, you can tell by listening to him on MNF,the man is very smart.Plus he loves Tebow and Tebow is our future,or we wasted 3 draft picks on him for nothing

My views and opinions are just that, views and opinions, not meant to undermind anyone elses, nor do I think my choice as a HC can be the only one,Gruden is just who I prefer.

  12. BeastFromEast92 says:

strandoftds..I think you are right, more Tebow and more pounding the rock.

We will address Defense when the draft rolls around,I guess we will use the rest of the season to evaluate the players we want to keep,I suppose,IDK.

    SIGN CHAMP!!!!!!!!!!

  13. strandoftds says:

For the next month in a half thats all we`re gonna talk about. Who`s gonna be our next HC and will Tebow start. If we don`t start Tebow soon than we will have to wait until next season. I don`t like that idea.

  14. BeastFromEast92 says:

NO we need to know if Tebow is going to be our future or not, there’s no way we can expect miracles out of him,but we can at least get a feel of what he is able to do in real gametime situations, besides we need to know if he can take over so we can trade Orton or not.IMO.

  15. strandoftds says:

There are some voices out there in the media that are saying that Tebows days as a Bronco may be numbered. YA WHATEVER. They don`t want him to succeed. Oh, he`s no QB. Blah blah blah. Gruden loves Tim Tebow. Thats a perfect fit.

  16. BeastFromEast92 says:

I’ve been hearing a lot lately that Tebow needs to be converted to TE,people are stupid, take the best college football player of all time and turn him into a TE,after using 3 draft picks to get him would be the most ridiculous thing I ever heard.

  17. strandoftds says:

Ya, thats why we need to start him today.

  18. Greatness007 says:

Don’t mean to put a damper on this new or beginning of a new era. The person who told on Josh to the Broncos brass is now our new interim HC. I guess we now know why he was picked. Now lets see what he can do!!!

  19. strandoftds says:

I heard earlier today that our Interim coach said that Orton is going to start against the Cardinals.

  20. strandoftds says:

GOOD I`M GLAD! THE TRUTH HURTS!!

  21. strandoftds says:

We`ll find out soon enough who our next HC is. I am eager to find out. Gruden in my book.

  22. BroncofaninATL says:

“Don’t mean to put a damper on this new or beginning of a new era. The person who told on Josh to the Broncos brass is now our new interim HC.”

Didn’t hear that bit of news down here in Atlanta. lol. If that is the case, I hope they don’t intend to keep him as HC.

  23. Greatness007 says:

A article is coming out next week on the director of video operations Steve Scarnecchia. He said when he was called to Pat Bowlen’s office. The people that were there were Josh, Ellis , Pat, and Studesville. He (Steve) said the line of questioning Pat was doing was between Studesville and him.

I’m not mad and he will not be the coach next yr. I just thought alot of people was wondering why him. Like i was so I did some digging. Now you know!!!!!

  24. 1nOnlyTRB says:

Lol Greatness…. and you wonder why I always cal you a conspiracy theorist.

any proof of your allegations? didnt u also say that McD was really fired because he refused to start the young guys and that even if he won against KC the firing would have still happend? Going with that train of thought, wouldnt studevilles first move be to make Tebow the starter….you know, play the younger guys which was what lost McD his job. Instead he says Orton is the starter. If the ownership was ever gonna push their agenda through a patsy, would be a interim coach dont ya think?

  25. 1nOnlyTRB says:

lol well looks like u already answered the first part of my question lol …. still isnt proof but food for thought.

  26. strandoftds says:

    What a joke!

  27. BeastFromEast92 says:

1st I heard of it,what’s your source bro??

  28. BeastFromEast92 says:

If Studesville isn’t going to start Tebow, then I guess we will have to wait till next year to see what happens, big bummer!!!!!!!!!!!

  29. BroncofaninATL says:

Been doing a lot of thinking today about what the Broncos should and shouldn’t do. I compare this situation to what I saw last year with the Eagles. I told a friend of mine when I heard that Vick had signed with the Eagles last year, “McNabb’s days are numbered.” Then, if Vick seemed to not be working out, the Eagles had a backstop with a decent QB (McNabb).

Starting Orton for the rest of the season could be a brilliant move. None of the stink of this season will be on Tebow and he can hone his skills in practices between now and next season while Orton is demoted to 2nd string.

Either way, it’s obvious that Tebow is the future. Either start him beginning next year, or trade him (if a coach is hired that does not want him) to a team for picks.

  30. Greatness007 says:

I said they wanted to see the younger talent out there more. As everyone knows everyone wants to see Tebow out there in that building. Cua they want to keep the fans in there seats. I said Josh’s unwillingness to to comply made them look for a outlet. I didn’t say it was a sole reason just one of them. The article will be on fanhouse.com. Plus Studesville said this part his self. ” They fired Josh . Josh talked to us as a staff. Then I was called up and offered the joib. When everyone well in the sporting news though as I did Donnetell was gonna get it. He has the best resume. You can choose not to believe doesn’t matter to me. It is what it is!!!

  31. Greatness007 says:

Plus now the thinking is this. The O system that is being run now . Won’t be the same next yr. Pat wants the Westcoast O and Zone blocking scheme back. That’s why they gonna now change some things but not be to drastic. Throwing Tebow out there like that will do 2 thinks. Both of which is not good. If you throw him out there with the guy who picked him or believes he can do it then he has a chance. You put him outthere with a guy who is tryna stake a claim to having this job. Soon as Tebow does something wrong then he gonna pull him. Can’t put him back in after that. A Vet HC can do that all day. A lame duck coach can’t.

  32. strandoftds says:

I heard it on 850 KOA. Broncos radio station. As a matter of fact, here in about 15 minutes they are going to interview coach Studseviile. I`m very curius on what he has to say. They also said the reason he took over as Interim is because he`s a upbeat positive guy and McD was railing coaches and players. The word is that McD and both Champ and D.J. Williams got in a heated arguement. McD lost the locker room.

  33. Greatness007 says:

That’s funny Kyle Orton say the players have to be accountable for all this too. So I guess the locker rom is against Kyle now too. But he still is the starter. hmmm?

  34. BeastFromEast92 says:

Once you lose the locker room you never get it back!

  35. 1nOnlyTRB says:

You could be right Greatness….just asking for some clarity

    Strand,

I have pointed out that McD has no peoples skills since day one and his way is to ship out people who dont bow to him. He is very one sighted and when he decides his got a problem with u, he has a problem with u learn its his way or nothing. And if u dont learn it u are gone. We have lost alot because of this. I like how we just all of a sudden had cancers in the locker room when he came….sure they were always knuckleheads…but not cancers and when even Nolan left I had a feeling he didnt show respect to his coaches either…he just wanted coaches he could tell what to do. He lost the lockeroom a long time ago…even worse after the Champ deal fallout….Morale is very shifty in a locker room, gotta maintain a positive one on all counts across the board. Unless u have 1 lockerroom of guys willing to do anything for ya. all is lost. Glad he is gone. A lil too late but ill take it…. This is all opinion based ofcourse…

  36. strandoftds says:

I don`t believe any of our players are cancers. McD was the problem. He was not flexable with the players. Not good.

  37. rsoup says:

Looks like we got Kurt Angle for our Interim Coach!

  38. stevecan2 says:

I really hope that they don’t throw Tebow to the fire. What will happen if he starts and things don’t turn around instantly? Are the fans going to turn on Tebow? I honestly believe that we will. Not I, per se but the fans in general. When and if Tebow starts if he doesn’t come right out the gate on fire, I fear too many will start to revert back to, ” I knew he wasn’t an NFL starting QB”. Most people realize that the favorite person on a losing team is the back up QB.

The best case scenario i can see for Tebow is, to be QB2 next year, let Kyle Orton start. Orton has shown he is able to produce, even during times of uncertainty. Allow Tebow to learn a new playbook and coaching philosophy. Then Orton’s contract will be up and Tebow steps in, fully capable and ready to lead the team. I believe Tebow to be our future, I just don’t want his legs to be cut out from under him.

McDaniels is not exactly being replaced by a Jason Garrett caliber interim HC. I mean no disrespect to Coach Studesville but he hasnt been hands on with the organization for years.
