With the lockout over, the Broncos’ preseason schedule – including times – has been finalized, and the club’s first game is just over two weeks away.
With a new collective bargaining agreement in place, the Broncos will begin training camp practices this Thursday as they prepare for the preseason.
The Broncos kick off the exhibition slate on August 11, when they travel to Dallas to play the Cowboys at the year-old Cowboy Stadium for the first time. The Thursday game will be one of the first games of the NFL preseason and will begin at 6:30 MDT.
The Broncos will make their first home appearance of the year the following week, hosting the Buffalo Bills at 6:35 MDT on Saturday, August 20. Fans won’t have to wait long to see the team play again, as the Broncos are right back at INVESCO Field at Mile High the following week, playing host to the Seattle Seahawks at 6:35 MDT on Saturday, August 27.
Denver wraps up the preseason just five days later on Thursday, September 1 as the Broncos travel to Arizona to play their final game before the season opens up with a Monday night matchup against the Raiders on Sept 12 at INVESCO.

Only one really strong team on the schedule but that should be a plus anyone think we could make a play for Barret Ruud at LB
If they really want to keep us informed I guess there could be a new blog just about every hours today…. Overtime! LOL.
Wow, we are now paying attention to the strength of schedule for preseason, LOL.
WOW 3 outta the 4 teams we are playing in preseason have potential DTs we are after, lol.
The players should be entering the Dove Valley facilities 15 minutes ago also. I just remembered that.
Kenny Legan, a new contributor to the blog I guess, welcome to your new job.
What about a trade for Orton to San Francisco, Seattle, Oakland, or Buffalo? Anyone heard anything regarding these teams with little at the QB position?
Yes, Kenny Legan, welcome to the best blog in the NFL. Of course you already know that. Looking forward to read your write ups.
*little talent
Klis has this line up for Orton:
Teams that don’t have a proven starting quarterback and therefore need one include Minnesota, Tennessee and Arizona. Seattle, Washington, Cincinnati and Miami also could be possibilities.
I’ve heard Seattle, Buffalo and Oakland in some conversation as far as needs at QB but John Harbough has made it clear he wants Alex Smith to start. I just hope we don’t trade Orton for someone like Hayensworth. We don’t need a dookie head like him around here. I wish we could trade to AZ for a guy like Darnell Dockett. Not likely to happen but a guy can dream right?
Sanfrancisco drafted Ponder in the 1st round,I doubt the want a QB that bad.
Oakland no way we let them have Orton, Buffalo is too cheap to pay for Orton and SF people say the new coach thinks he can get it done with Alex Smith, stupid man, LOL.
Haynesworth would be like going back to the dark ages, no way that happens after all the controversies of recent years here! One thing I know for sure, no questionable character will be brought in and all questionable characters will be traded or cut, of that I’m certain.
I think the Vikings drafted Ponder in the first round. SF drafted Kapernick at the beginning of the 2nd, I think.
Tebow first guy in the building this morning no surprise
Thanks for agreeing with the Alex Smith thing Bay.
Yeah SF traded up with us to get Kapernick with the 36th pick and that’s what caused us to miss on the DT Jarvis Jenkins the triumvirate coveted because he went at the 41st pick while we had the SF pick which was the 45th. Everybody got that? LOL. Costly gamble there if you ask me, Jenkins was very high on my list of DTs, same for the triumvirate, oh well, life goes on, you live and learn….
henryac..you are right, don’t know what I was thinking.
1st thing we need to do is sign Prater to a long contract!!!
raidrhadr, I was so shocked when I read that Harbaugh thinks Smith is it that I stored it in the memory bank.
1st thing we need to do is to trade Orton, LMAO.
I think Arizona would be the best place to send Orton, imo.
Maybe trade for a DT and a pick next year or some cash!
LMAO@bay!!!
BFE, I`m with you on that call. I mentioned yesterday about that as well, ASAP on the Prater deal. Good call dude.
BFE I wish we could get Darnell Dockett from AZ but I think it would cost too much. He is a beast from ….southwest.
Kyle Orton should be gone by the end of the day I think.
Orton for Dockett straight up…works for me,IDK about Arizona tho, lol.
Orton for DT Branch and DT Watson straight up!
strand..I hope Orton is gone before lunch!
Klis is on ESPN right now. Hasn’t shed any new light on the subject of Orton that we haven’t said.
If I were the Buffalo Bills I`d feel pretty good about the QB Kirkpatrick. He`s got game.
Me too dude.
Alright guys gotta step out for a while, hope Orton is gone before I get back, and we get a good trade on a DT and a RB.Later.
BFE, Branch and Watson are FA`s.
With Orton trade talks on the phone lines now it’s probably like fishing on a boat trolling with multiple rods and all of a sudden they are all getting some action at once, you’re just not sure which one to grab first so you look for which rod bends the most and reel that baby in, whoever offers the most is where he shall go.
When trolling in the NFL instead of minow guppies they use money and draft picks. HaHa!!!
BFE wants to trade for guys that teams have no right to, good thing Xanders is in charge, LOL.
For all of you who thinks there is hope for us getting Dockett.
It will never happen, i follow Dockett on twitter and he has always said he will be a cardinal as long as whisenhunt is coaching and wants to retire a cardinal. So unless whisenhunt gets fired it will never happen.
In other news today was like crhistmas morning waking up to the news that orton will be traded and tebow will be the starter!
Go BRonCOs!
Coop would love to hear your fishing analogy Bay. lol
Bro. I agree. It’s a pipe dream to think we will get Dockett. Wish we could though.
LMAO! And also no need to trade for FA`s. BFE moments ago said to trade Orton for Branch and Watson. That would be the ball buster of the year.
Man Becky Ditchfield looks hot today….sorry watching 9 news weather.
If Orton is traded by lunch it`s a happy day.
I miss Coop man, and it’s all because of that glasnax guy who really reamed him here about his fishing, that was discusting and hopefully Coop will get over it and be back on. He had said he would stay in touch about his various fishing trips this off season but after that dork insulted him he’s never been back, yeah one time, to thank me for standing up to that guy for him, sad.
The reason she probably looks hot is because the whole map is hot. LOL
Good one strands.
Broncos this morning have signed undrafted rookie DE Deron Mayo.
Deron Mayo is the younger brother of New England Patriots LB Jerod Mayo. He’s a bit undersized at 5-foot-11, which could mean a move to linebacker.
That was the whole point of my poit strad, BFE’s Watson and Branch comment, are we reading the same blog, LOL.
I hope Coop comes back. I`m sure he will. Glax was a little off the charts. Come home COOP!!
Coop will be back in the fold soon I suspect. There will be way too much to talk about for him to ignore us.
