Denver took over with a short field, starting the drive on their own 36-yard line following a Raiders punt.
Completions of 19 and 15 yards to wide receiver Demaryius Thomas and Knowshon Moreno helped move Denver down the field, but the drive stalled from there.
An incomplete pass and two short completions to wide receiver Jacob Tamme brought up a fourth down.
Kicker Matt Prater converted on a 33-yard field goal, tying a career high with four in one game. Prater now has 14 points in the game.
He has converted field goals of 43, 34, 20 and 33 yards tonight. It’s his fifth game with four field goals. Only Jason Elam has more among Broncos.
The field goal gave Denver a 26-7 lead.
