Prater’s Field Goal Makes it 30-16

November 18th, 2012 - 5:27pm by Sam Davis

The Broncos offense continued the momentum from Jim Leonhard’s interception with a 57-yard drive that yielded 3 points.

Running back Ronnie Hillman moved the chains first and brought Denver out to the 42-yard line with a 12-yard reception, and Lance Ball followed that up with a run of 11 yards across midfield.

After two consecutive plays for negative yardage, the Broncos faced third-and-16 from the San Diego 45. Manning then found tight end Jacob Tamme in between two defenders, as the tight end leaped in the air and secured the catch as he was hit.

But Denver would only gain 1 more yard, settling for a 32-yard field goal to bring the score to 30-16 with 4:14 remaining.
