Plenty to cheer for. 10 chances is better then 1.

  2. florio's_mom says:

Those seem like pretty good odds to me. Look for the jets loss + texans win scenario.

  3. broncofanlvnm says:

Does not seem very likely we will make it. All it takes is for Pittsburgh to beat Miami and Baltimore to beat Oakland and we are out because we lost the head to head against both of them. Do any of you see either of them losing their games next week?

  4. baylinorcrush says:

    BRONCOS 27 EAGLES 30

    Prediction results time!

Well another week, another loss, difficult to get excited about guys posting good loss picks, but it is what it is, got to give credit were credit is due, so with that in mind, the winners for this week are as follows:

    1) WaitTilNextYear 20-24 only one point off the correct spread, 4 points instead of three and top that off with the perfect handle for the circumstances and there you have it, this week’s winner. Congrats.

    2) royalblue 19-27 eight points off the correct spread, excellent pulse for the game.

    3) coachemup 19-28 nine points off the spread, also same good vision of what was about to transpire.

Talking spread we must recognize the following guys who were within 5 points or less of the correct spread even if they picked the Broncos to win, obviously they figured better than most how close this game would be:

Danso 27-26 four points off the spread and correct Bronco score.
    rayjr26 24-23 same thing.
    sndvl 23-21 five points off.
    baylinorcrush 23-21 same thing.

We recognize the following guys who also had the Bronco score perfect:

    emaldo 27-21
    babychamp-broncos 27-17
    LKW 7 23 49 80 27-20

Now, this week they are a few picks from the other side of the spectrum, guys having completely misread this game, either on the Broncos winning side or on the Eagles winning side:

Broncosfolife 35-17 (18 point Bronco win)
and the one who takes the cake on the Bronco winning side, LOL:
    atwater da man 28-6 ( 22 points)

But I reserved a spot on the wall of shame for these two guys when they made their picks, and I have to say I’m glad they ended up earning it, LOL. They either thought very little of us or that the Eagles were all world. Either way, shame is upon them, LOL, they are:

    57 Yellow T-Bird 6-28 and,
Orange Crusher 10-32, both had us beaten by a whopping 22 point spread! LOL.

BTW, we had 26 picks this week. One more week guys, that’s all I think there is left for us this season, I spoke about that plenty here last night, so get your minds in tune and make your picks for the regular season finale against KC, good luck.

  5. Broncos Soldier says:

Most likely we should all hope we win against Kansas City and either New York or Baltimore or both would be nice to lose and then will need the texans to win so they can be between us and Pittsburgh if the jets lose and baltimore wins which they would take back the #5 seed because of the head to head be we would still be in. lets just hope the scenarios play out well. even if we dont make it this year. look at it this way will be 9-7 cuz we wont lose to kansas city which is better record then 8-8 last year and its Josh Mcdaniels first head coach season and wait til next year as long as this team stays together and were under mcdaniels system then who knows it could be our time to shine next year as long as we can finish the season and not lose the last few games and win against opponents that we know were better then hands down.

  6. rst08tierney says:

DEN win + NYJ loss or tie + HOU win

This seems to be our best bet. The Pats will rest their starters in the second half but im no sure what Cincinnati will do. I would think they would play this game out due to a lack luster performance against KC.

Who knows, the broncos needed the win against Oakland last week. McD better pull his you know what together next year so this wont happen for again.

  7. TheRoyalBeast says:

I like our odds….but no reason to looks past the KC chiefs…did that agaisnt oakland and see what happened…altho i doubt they will…they will leave everything on the field and play their hardest ball because this is the last game of the season.

Key to winning? A solid running game…thats how we won last time….altho i dont care to go to the play offfs since for the past liek 3 weeks we haven’t been abale to run the ball AT ALL!!!!

we need soooooooo much help its not funny lol…we need everyone to lose essential. that or…..jets lose and houston win. I dont see any of these scenarios playing out but…any giving sunda i guess.

  8. TheRoyalBeast says:

Just so yall know, we might possibly put another disgracing record in the record books.

Last year, we were the first in NFL history to blow a 3 game lead with 3 games left and miss the playoffs.

This year, if we don’t make it, We will be the first team ever in the NFL to start off 6-0 and not make playoffs……

Talk about a wall of shame……

  9. brian_schneider says:

Lets just get a win against KC and have an above .500 record. I’d love to make the playoffs, but lets be realistic, if McD won’t change up his gameplan and playcalling for regular season games that are games that we need to win, what makes us think he’ll switch anything up in the playoffs (should we make it there).

  10. Broncos Soldier says:

Hey look at the Redskins last year they started out 6-2 then lost most of the rest of there games lol.

  11. sndvl says:

10 Scenarios? Including 5 chances even if we can’t pull out a win at home? That is ridiculous…
What a dissapointing loss last night. We gave it a great effort. Even though the refs did everything they could to keep us out of it. That was one of the poorest officiated displays Ive ever seen. We still had our shots…
Ah, what could have been. What still might be!
    We need some luck.
    We need to win.
No telling what the Bengals will do. Hopefully they don’t follow the same model as Indy. Plus if they lose, there is a scenario where they would face them the following week. We shall see what Marv decides.
It has been one hell of a ride. An Immaculate deflection, throwback throwdown, giant win on Thanksgiving, and a defrost in December in KC. Regardless of what happens, lets go out with a win! And hope for the best. Everybody pull out those lucky charms and break out the rituals…weirder things have happened!!!! GO BRONCOS!!!!!!!!

  12. Go_Broncos_6 says:

We just need to pull out a win against KC this Sunday and hope for the best if we want to get to the play-offs. I hope we do, but no matter what, this team is a Super Bowl Champion to me :) Go Broncos!!!!!!!

  13. 57Yellow T-Bird says:

    Baylinor
Good points. I really had a hard time reading this one. I totally picked the numbers out of my hat. I could easily have picked a closer score (and almost did the next day), but I know you only take the 1st one submitted. And its not that I thought Philly was all world, I knew they were beatable, but they were considered one of the hottest teams going. A few weeks ago I was sure we would’ve beat them, but that’s all water under the bridge. As far as thinking little of our Broncos, NO WAY! I knew they just didn’t quite have their moxy back yet, and to play a tough team in their own house, well…I think you get my point. :)

    TRB
I hear you man. I wouldn’t be surprised if we go either way. On the other hand, it is only McD’s 1st year as a head coach. 9-7 or 8-8 is still a good record for a first year coach; not that I’m pleased with it or anything.
BTW, did I hear right, are you just 13? If so, what an awesome football mind, kiddo. You’ll be great come HS, I’ll bet. Come to think of it, you’ve got an awesom football mind regardless of your age. :)

  14. BRONCOBAILEY99 says:

    It’s so close… yet so far…

  15. broncofannsd says:

Bengals vs. Jets game pushed to Sunday Night. Even though they have been winning, Bengals haven’t been playing well and they might want to keep the winning moment going into the playoffs, so they might show up.

  16. broncofannsd says:

TheRoyalBeast… Actually the 2003 Minnesota Vikings started 6-0 and missed the playoffs. Not a good record to be a part of.

  17. Broncfalls says:

….uh I’d like to add one other scenario to the playoff equation!

Denver win + a Jets los + a Houston win + swift kick in the $$@ to Josh McDaniels + the ability to let a 100 catch receiver run go routes + the ability to pick up 3rd downs minus screen passes behind the line of scrimage with our 100 plus catch reciever + red zone td’s minus 3 yd slant passes.

    …..it could happen!

    GO GET EM’ BOYS!

  18. Broncfalls says:

…..You know what would really suck?

If the scenarios play out and we lose to KC!

    Yeah I said it! I am completely sick of this defense bailing out this offense! I seriously want JMac to come to the podium and simply say;

“Here’s the reason why we run 2 yd slant passes! This is why Brandon Marshall don’t run go routes!”

…uh JMac where was the bullets in the chamer concetp? Did we bring a BB gun to a weapons of mass destruction football game? COME ON MAN!!!!!!!!!! SERIOUSLY! You better re-load that gun and quickly because you’re playoff hopes are gone and you have a KC team I’m not so sure you can beat coming into your own backyard!

I hope I’m wrong so I’m pulling reverse psycology on myself! It works for my 3 year old daughter maybe it’ll work here! Here goes:

“Broncos, don’t you win that game at home! Don’t…..don’t…..don’t you play like your’re capable…..you silly……I mean it, don’t you dare win that game! Josh, don’t you use my reciever better than you have! uh oh….are you letting Brandon run fast? Gimme me back my win….”

    GO GET EM’ BOYS!

  19. baylinorcrush says:

57 T-Bird, TRB is not 13, I believe he has been a Bronco fan for only 13 years, he is a fully grown man. LOL.

  20. baylinorcrush says:

I will write this down one more time for all the ones out here who assume we will win against KC:

WE HAVE NOT WON A DIVISION GAME AT HOME YET THIS YEAR.

  21. jonah22 says:

Why do we deserve to be in the playoffs? We can’t even beat a division opponent at home. I don’t want to some how barely be able to beat KC in our home, luck out and make the wild card just to see us get destroyed by Cincy or NE.

  22. broncofannsd says:

Echoing Broncfalls comments: sick of watching the defense bail out the offense.

    Hey Coach,

You better figure out a solution to your lame play calling. If that’s all you got, let someone else call the plays.

  23. Orange_Crusher says:

#1. McDaniels is NOT the offensive genius that I was hoping for…… sigh.

#2. Mike Nolan and our defense is AWESOME!

#3. Mitch Booger needs to be FIRED!

#4. I WANT TO SEE BRANDSTATER GET HIS CHANCE!!!

#5. If we don’t end up re-signing Marshall or Dumervil? I will be deliriously disenchanted with the decision tree growing in dove vally…

  24. rebelbronco says:

Losing to the Redskins and the Raiders was inexcusable, and the entire reason we are in this situation. Now instead of only having to beat KC. we have to beat them and rely on others. This is not the way to make the playoffs.

I’m so sick of hearing McD talk about not executing, and that being our downfall. How about putting some blame on your shoulders coach, and say even if we did execute properly it wouldn’t matter because I call the same BS plays week after week and every team we play knows exactly what we are going to do!!!!

  25. Broncfalls says:

I’m still trying to figure out what the “We won’t have any bullets left in the chamber after this game…” comment was supposed to mean!

I just don’t understand how you take the #1 overall offense in the league last year and drop it to the bottom! I just don’t get it!

We FINALLY! have a defense that is solid and WE CAN’T SEEM TO FIND THE ENDZONE! LMFAO! or pick up critical short yardage situations! I’m seriously laughing right now!

    Seriously, LOL!

    royal
    marshall
    grahm
    scheffler
    gaffney
    stokely
    buckhalter
    moreno
    hillis
    loyd &
    Orton

    all of this =

    * screen passes
    * 2 yd slants
    * Half back dive plays on 3rd and 4th and 1 WHEN IT NEVER WORKS!
    * players sitting on the sidelines that don’t get a chance unless you play em’ yourself on Madden

….I just don’t get it! AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!

…Dawkins is probably thinking; “Hey Coach I did my job, when you gonna do yours?”

    GO GET EM’ BOYS!

….Lastly, I feel horrible for Dawkins and Champ who have continued to fight, claw, and play with everything they have. It’s called heart!!!!!! I know there are others but these two stand out the most! they bring everything when they step on that field.

How demoralizing is it when you put yourself back into football games AGAIN via our defense….only to see your offense go out there and put up 3 and outs ALL THE TIME!!!!!!!!!

    o.k. I’m done for now…..sorry

    GO GET EM’ BOYS

  26. 57Yellow T-Bird says:

Thanks Baylinor. I didn’t think that was right. And my apologies to you TRB. Although I still think you have a great football mind; very inciteful, just as is Baylinor. :)

  27. Broncfalls says:

    Dawkins,

I know you probably don’t read this. However, just so you know, I was the proud owner of #20 this Christmas! Wore it with Pride Sunday!

Thanks for everything you’ve brought to this team!

    p.s. Can you play offense!

  28. BroncoBoyest95 says:

WOW 10 scenarios i cant believe it!!!!!!!!!!!
Only one problem the scenario WIN AND YOUR IN is not on that list!!!!!!!!
Face it WE BLEW IT yes, their are 10 different scenarios and yes that is a lot but we were 8-5 with 3 games to go and blew it, again

  29. brian_schneider says:

McD’s playcalling needs to improve if he ever wants to become a successful HC. On short yardage situations try a quick slant or playaction, going up the gut and failing nearly ever time is inexcusable. On third and long situations, try at least a hitch route or something to get a WR to the marker. Doing those stupid screens are pretty much give up plays and they say “we’re content going 3 and out.” Use more of our players, I can guarantee Hillis would’ve pick up more of those failed short yardage situations. Royal has the speed to kill, give him a shot down the field. I can be here all day with other players that need to get invovled. I know that we can’t get every single player invovled every game but at the beggining of the season McD talked about “situational football” well the situations have occurred and his playcalling has failed. Maybe that’s why most successful older HC are so good because they are open to change, open to trying different things. McD just seems like some young punk set on “his way or the highway” when really it has been more like “his way is the losing way”. Something is going to have to change and if McD doesn’t change his playcalling or whatever he won’t be the HC in Denver for very long. IMO this is his one shot, if he proves that he always calls the same crap plays no team is going to want him as a HC. This isn’t just about his time in Denver, for himself it is his future. So for his own sake he should change up his playcalling. Just my opinion.

  30. BroncoBoyest95 says:

Hey brain_schneider and all of you guys talking about oh play calling this play calling that his play calling was good in new england. I’ll quote my friend Mike Ditka “the coaches coach and the players play” well McD has them prepared no doubt about it its just the PLAYERS ARENT PLAYING instead about crying for hillis for short yardage blame the line who cant get any push what so ever

  31. BroncoBoyest95 says:

ok on the topic of dawkins yesterday i think (based on no factual evidence at all just based on what i saw) i think he was trying to hard to make a play and was over compensating which left celek wide open a couple of times. instead of just being himself which is great he was trying to hard to make a play

  32. BroncoBoyest95 says:

we need a new QB… yeah they all saw that orton doesnt make the big mistake BUT he doesnt make the big play either. Pick your poison someone like cutler who will make a play and a mistake or orton who wont make the big play and wont make the big mistake

  33. BroncoBoyest95 says:

wanna know why we’ve lost 7 out of the last 9?????
    NO RUN GAME

  34. BroncoBoyest95 says:

CAN YOU BELIEVE WE LOST TO THE RAIDERS AT HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  35. BroncoBoyest95 says:

i like jabar gaffney he should start over royal next week and maybe the future he has made more plays at the NO. 2 reciever spot who knows maybe royal will be gold at the thrid option

  36. BroncoBoyest95 says:

i give props to our front 7 this year BIG BIG improvement

  37. BroncoBoyest95 says:

    does anybody else comment????

  38. BroncoBoyest95 says:

ya know who had a bad game yesterday?? B-marsh he dropped like 4 passed that would have netted at least 30 yards

  39. BroncoBoyest95 says:

OHHH only if only reynaldo hill go that pick that would of changed the game!! instead it got tipped for a td

  40. BroncoBoyest95 says:

TO ALL OF YOU PEOPLE THAT SEE THAT ALL OF THESE COMMENTS ARE BY THE SAME PERSON,
READ THEM I MAKE SOME GOOD POINTS

  41. broncofannsd says:

BroncoBoyest95… the Broncos aren’t the Patriots West, it’s the Denver Broncos. Just because the play calling worked in New England doesn’t mean it will work for the Broncos… different players. It doesn’t matter what your O-Line does if the play calling is predictable against an aggressive defense like Philly. If you want to talk New England, look what happened in the SB against the Giants. Yes, coaches coach and players play, but the offensive game planning and in game adjustments has been absolutely terrible.

  42. BroncoBoyest95 says:

its ironic that stokley of all people ya know the good guy the smart player the guy who always know what to do winds up getting ejected

  43. BroncoBoyest95 says:

i wonder how the season would have played out if we had matt cassell

  44. BroncoBoyest95 says:

how good did champ and andre play yesterday!!!! i mean first time in a while that the eagles arent on the highlight reel with some 70+ yard play

  45. BroncoBoyest95 says:

dont blame andre for giving up that catch i mean it was a absolutley great catch and even better throw

  46. broncofannsd says:

Cheers to coach Nolan and the defense. If it wasn’t for our defense, our record would be much worse.

  47. BroncoBoyest95 says:

HEY BRONCO FANNSD IN GAME ADJUSTMENTS BEING TERRIBLE???? IF IM NOT MISTAKEN THE PATRIOTS, COWBOYS, BENGALS, GIANTS, EAGLES, COLTS AND THE FIRST GAME AGAINST THE CHARGERS WERE ALL CLOSE AT HALFTIME AND WHAT DID WE DO WE CAME OUT AND EITHER WON OR MADE A GAME OF IT SOO PHOOY ON YOU!!!!!!!

  48. BroncoBoyest95 says:

BRONCOFANNSD YES THIS IS PATRIOTS WEST THE MAKE UP OF THE TEAM I NEARLY IDENTICAL!!!!! MARSHALL=MOSS ROYAL=WELKER MAYO=DJ WE HAVE BETTER CORNERS BETTER SAFTEY BETTER RUNNING BACK SO YESS

  49. TheRoyalBeast says:

    57Yellow T-Bird
