dbroncos6, Stokley is a leader. Orton can be a leader. Gaffney can be a leader. Wiegmann (if he stays) can be a leader. Marshall can be a distraction….

we need to have marshall on our team, with cutler gone he needs to be the leader of that offense along with orton. i really like orton as our starting qb i think were ganna make a run at the playoffs this year i believe our defense has gotten better an that knowshon is the real deal. GO BRONCOSSSSSSSSS

I’m still over there on the ESPN site, educating the “bloggers”. There is one blogger named “Just win BBY” who is a real pain. I’m constantly arguing with this guy. He just said Orton is no more then a BU, so I told him that Orton started last year and went to the playoffs. Where was his Raiders at? I also told him that Orton was just named Denvers starter so…..

texark, anythings possible. I will worry about the now and focus on the WR’s that are practicing and support them. I was on the ESPN blog and mentioned that the Raiders did little to improve themselves. A blogger responded with this:

“Then DynamicDave you should use that logic for the Raiders. The only problem is that the raiders did improve because it didn’t lose any players they wanted and the ones that left have a equal or better replacement. We can’t say the same for the Broncos for that matter and it starts at QB. You know well you lost a Pro Bowl QB with potential for more and replaced him with a serviceable one only.”

So I responded back:

“xobn1050, I look at the loss of Cutler this way, he was a gunslinging QB who constantly fixated on Marshall. To the point of throwing INT’s and incomplete. McD wants a ball control QB and Orton fits that mold. I’ll give Kyle his shot and see what happens. The Raiders only strong point last year was decent running backs and a good D. We now have their D coach (Martindale) working the line for Denver. You talk about Denver’s QB position but state they haven’t improved anywhere else? Incorrect. Oline is the same. Running backs have improved or have you forgotten Moreno? D has Dawkins, Hill, Goodman and Davis. Fields was a slated starter as NT for the 49ers till he broke his arm. They then picked up a young stud nose, paid him big money and when Fields was ready to come back, got stuck into the rotation. They have a healthy Carlton Powell who was slated to be a starter last year but got hurt in training camp. Boss will be healthy again. Doom is going to play both DE and OLB. Denver has Ayers. I’m truly happy with what they have done. If others aren’t, so be it, but the season is yet to start and when it does, let the record speak for itself.”

I tend to see bloggers who are not Broncos fans, not doing their homework to the detail that we do. They are barking up the wrong tree if they expect to back me into a corner.
