As you might have seen the club announce via our Twitter page, the Broncos will open up the regular season in its orange jerseys at home on Monday Night Football against the Raiders.
The second and final time the team will wear its alternate threads in the 2011 season comes in Week 8 when the Detroit Lions head to INVESCO Field at Mile High the night before Halloween.

Another thing attributed to Lombardi in that video says now the Broncos brass say Tebow is expendable, that is pretty telling if true. Unless they are posturing again, haha.

We should talk more about all our tight ends and. Defensive ends who stays who goes or who gets sent down. Since I have not been here in awhile….. What happened to perrish cox and his court case,,,,, when we trading him before we get pass interference calls all game long. Every team in the league will throw at him every down all season long. If our pass rush improves which it should. I’m afraid perrish cox will still leave us high and dry in the end

I think EFX did what should have been done. Put Orton on the block, no one bit hard enough to deal him. Now, playing with the hand their dealt. Orton gets the nod at QB1, which in all reality with him still in Denver is the best move. Tebow won’t start over Orton and given all the ups and downs with both players it makes football sense. Orton has enough going for him to be a starting QB. Keep Tebow in the loop and have him ready to step in when needed pending injury or future trade. What ever the QB line up is starting week one is not written in stone. Money wise it’s quite a hit on the cap, but not devastating enough to crumble the franchise.
Are you done throwing your temper tantrum Bay? I think I gave you more credit than you deserve. You don’t set much of an example for someone who I once considered the ultimate “fan”. The Broncos tried to trade Orton, for reasons we can only speculate about, and failed. Orton shows up in game shape, how does Tebow show up? Worse that he was last season. One possible excuse I heard, he’s pressing because he expected to be the starter and now he has to compete for the job! My god man, aren’t you listening to anything that isn’t wonderful about Tebow? To nervous to play well in practice, you’ve got to be kidding me! You want him as your starting quarterback? If it was anybody but Tim Tebow , we wouldn’t be having this discussion. The guy who shows up to camp and plays the best would be the starter and few would complain. That’s how it’s always been done. I’m not saying Orton is or isn’t the answer, nor have I ever suggested that Tebow couldn’t be the answer given the time to learn how to play the position in the NFL, this ain’t college. I’d love to see him stay a Bronco and use him properly for his skill set at this time, play to his strengths, keep him involved. Guys that are throwing fits about him not being the starter are only going to accomplish one thing, he will be traded or released. Heck, if he was half the man you all think he is, he’d apologize to his fans for his poor showing in camp and tell them to support the teams #1 QB because he’s a team player. This isn’t about personalities, this is about team! The Broncos, especially after the last 2 years, have to put the best product on the field they possibly can with the players they have in camp. They would be the laughing stock of the NFL and lose the faith of the other 51 players if they did any different. Tebow is turning out to be the last and biggest joke McDaniels played on the Denver Broncos and their “fans”. Not a joke because of his play, we all knew that he was probably a project when he got drafted, but because of his ability to polarize the “fans” of the Denver Broncos. After all this hoopla , I hope he gets cut or released as soon as possible. I like Tebow and will be sad to see him go if that’s the choice the Broncos make. I know one thing, the Broncos will do whatever they think is best for the team and I’ll be behind them 100%. Go Broncos!
