After Matt Prater knocked home a 41-yard field goal, the Chargers put together a drive to try to answer.
The drive was fueled by a 39-yard Ryan Mathews run, but the defense didn’t allow San Diego to capitalize, stopping Mike Tolbert after a 2-yard gain and forcing two Philip Rivers incompletions.
Nick Novak trotted out to attempt his third field goal of the day, but the 48-yarder was wide right, keeping the score at 13-10, Chargers.
The Broncos offense picks up at its own 38-yard line with 12:33 remaining in the fourth quarter.
