The Chargers are up 13-7 on the Broncos after a 25-yard Nick Novak field goal, his second make of the afternoon.
The drive started at San Diego’s 45-yard line, as a penalty forced Britton Colquitt to re-kick a punt that would’ve pinned the Chargers inside their own 20-yard line.
The Chargers drove all the way to the Denver 9-yard line, setting up a first-and-goal, but a holding penalty pushed them back and the defense stiffened, forcing the field goal attempt.
It was an eight-play, 48-yard drive that took 3:48 off the game clock.
An Eric Decker return on the ensuing kickoff means the Broncos offense will start its next drive at its own 25-yard line.
