baylinor- Couldn't find anything tying Eric Olsen to Seth Olson.
I did find that Erik Cook's older brother Ryan Cook, is the Center for the Minnesota Vikings. Both played at UNM.

Here's a list of 10 NFL prospects that will be potentially drafted in April 2010 for the Center position.

1) Maurkice Pouncey - Florida
2) Matt Tennant - Boston College
3) Eric Olsen - Notre Dame
4) Erik Cook - New Mexico
5) Chris Hall - Texas
6) Ted Larson - North Carolina State
7) Reggie Stephens - Iowa State
8) John Estes - Hawaii
9) Jake Hickman - Nebraska
10) Justin Walton - Baylor

Not a prediction of the order they will be taken but rather which will should excel at the next level.

Will have to look that one up... was thinking the same name with last name...(Olsen). I believe Seth Olsen is from state of Nebraska but opted to play for Iowa due to scholarship offer.

Yeah, in the draft there is this center named Eric Olsen, he wouldn't be first choice , but after Pouncey he is probably even keel with Tennant and Walton, it would be strange to end up with two Olsen's next to eachother. I do not know if they are related.

Back to football... looks like Seth Olsen will have a good chance to start at LG position this year, based on Coach McD's comments. Still need a Center...most likely, we draft one in April.

You all make very good points, but as far as the Broncos are concerned we are getting a bit off subject. It is not a stretch for me to think that we would be better served by signing players of high moral characters. BTW, let's not forget the guys we are talking about were signed by Shanahan, not McD, Shanny somehow had a weakness for hiring purely for talent overlooking character on many instances, something McD seems to stay away from. Sorry for the guys who's upbringing might set them back with our football team, but the downside of attempting to get them out of the ghetto mentality far outweighs their performance, maybe they can play for the Raiders or basketball, LOL, but I don't care for them on our team, I'm glad McD is our coach in that regard.

People can say they're the weakest people in society but are they really? What we're then saying is they're the weakest link, but yet we continue to turn our back on them, when they're crying out for help with these type of actions they take. Maybe we're just as weak for turning our backs on them. They have only one way of life as they know it. It's a different manifestation within our mainstream society which we know is not perfect. They have to fight to survive within their own system to make it out. More often than not, they die young. I'm not justifying their actions and saying what they do is right or good. We know it not good, and they know it is not, and not acceptable in mainstream society. We hope to continue to work with these people who want and need our help. We can look at it on the surface and say they're weak or stupid but the problem is much DEEPER than what we see or will ever know.
