Broncos offensive lineman Russ Hochstein and quarterback Brady Quinn are among the 66 players who have enrolled in the NFL Business Management and Entrepreneurial Program at Harvard Business School and the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
The program is one of NFL Player Engagement’s initiatives to assist players in preparing for their post-playing careers. Since the program’s inception in 2005, more than 700 players have participated.
“We are excited to continue this program which has been beneficial to so many of our players,” said NFL Vice President of Player Engagement Troy Vincent, who has attended each of the business management programs. “Over the years, the Business Management and Entrepreneurial Program has assisted players — myself included — and their families in making smarter business decisions while inspiring others to go back to school for an MBA.”
The schools will offer executive education activities in their respective areas of expertise. Taught by full-time Harvard Business School faculty members, the customized five-day program at HBS (March 19-23) aims to help participants learn to develop a business idea or plan in such areas as investments, real estate, and retailing.
The Kellogg School program (April 1-5) will focus on entrepreneurship, underscoring the fundamentals of investing and how to create and finance new ventures. Kellogg faculty members will teach classes on topics such as entrepreneurial finance, angel investing, equity versus debt capital, effective negotiating, and marketing in the nanosecond world.
Players complete an application process in order to attend the NFL Business Management and Entrepreneurial Program. Enrollment criteria includes level of education; professional business experience; interest in starting, owning, or managing a business; and leadership and community involvement.

Britt Colquitt is one of the best young punters in the game in fact he was a bright spot. He over achieved.
Cousins is a 2-3 rounder. I dont want a QB that early. But Moore or Wilson. Wilson is a runner like Tebow but i guess is good in the pocket too and a better passer coming out of college. Plus Wilson was drafted by the Rockies. Would be funny if he still ended up in Denver LOL
yeah definitely resign colquitt
@GMoney compare Marcus Thomas to every good Defense in the leauge and i bet he dont compare
Woodyard had more tackles than Mays. Mays should also be cut or traded IMO.
Colquitt is really good. His brother punts for KC…
hes not better than Wolfork, Raji, Suh, Jason Jones, Sedrick Ellis, Canty, Jenkins, Soliai etc
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d5d8278ea10/article/colston-reportedly-close-to-signing-longterm-deal-with-saints
I figured something like this would be coming soon.
Hes not better than a lot of second or third tier DTs. Thomas is mediocre. He has a nice play here and there but overall not so much.
why should we draft Boykin when hes only slated at 5’9? i hate corners under 5’11
Sign Mike Wallace get rid of Royal
Despite his size he is really good. Theres also Hosley L johnson and T Johnson Dennard and others. Boykin is just my favorite of the group.
Wallace would loose our 25 overall pick. Theres other FA WRs out there that wont loose our pick.
i hope Julius Thomas can make an impact next year offesivley so we dont have to think about bringing in another TE
Asante Samuel Antoine Winfield and Ronde Barber are all good short cbs
oh didn’t know wallace was a RFA that sucks lol
@Zha true but they cant cover the best in the business 1 on 1
D. Jackson then instead of Wallace plays same type of style as Royal but is better
i think the broncos are going to use my plan that i posted on the last page haha
nah your right they can’t but do good in Nickel etc and with a passing league you need more than 2 cbs you need at least four good ones short nickels don’t matter much how samuels gets so many damn ints can’t see the lil bastard
Marcus Thomas is not the most dominant tackle but he is dedicated and he is intense in the trenches he raizes up to offensive lineman. Drafting a dt is very hard to do it is a gamble I wanted B.J. Raji but it is really difficult to judge the DT position. But you guys easily forget how thin we were at the DT position last season. When Marcus Thomas was out we were losing when he came back we were winning. We need him simply to fill out the depth chart because he is probably better at the start of week1 than the rookie DT we will end up with.
Jackson was tagged by the Eagles.
I like Manningham. He made great catches in the SB.
whats up with the dt we picked up from NE? Ty Warren he healthy this season?
G_money i dont think Thomas is better than Cox Still or Worthy. I think they are all better stopping the run and getting inside pressure. Thomas just isnt that good.
heh Manningham going from one Manning to another
Hes recovering. He should be good to go.
That would be kinda funny…
lets hope so was the damn reason we picked him up to shore up the front with bunkley and he was gone all year hurt us badly
i say we release warren.. hasnt played a half of season in like 3 years
My thing with Warren though is this was his second missed season in a row. How fit is he going to be
yeah cost us alot of salary as well considering he didn’t play a snap
I say if theres somebody needing cut try to trade them first. Better the get something for them than nothing IMO. If theres no interest then cut them
at the end of the day, i say broncos need to just start all over with their interrior front.. let bunkley, thomas walk. cut warren.. sign soliai and draft worthy/reyes or cox
then add depth
Reyes is a monster. He is one of the most athletic DTs ive seen in a while.
Prefer to keep Bunkley after that yeah get rid of the rest, thought Vickerson played decent as well
i really hope the broncos can address most of our needs with gOOd players and with this salary cap (DT,CB,RB,LB,S)
before the season starts
Bunkley is a beast. I like Haagan too. I’m definitely not sold on Royal or Moreno though. Despite his problems, I hope we take Jenkins. He’s got something to prove and 4 really good reasons to give 110%. I love Chris Rainey but he scares me. His play is not all that consistent. He’s not very big at all and he gets migraine headaches.
Actually…it was Harvin that was always suffering from migraines but none the less Rainey is really inconsistent. I could swear I read somewhere that Rainey gets headaches too but maybe it was just right after his shoulder surgery and dealing with all the stress of getting arrested and suspended for threatening to kill his girlfriend.
if not rainey, then we can always get LaMicheal James who i think is better
I dont see a CB falling to us. Lions Cowboys Bengals all need a CB.
we shouldnt worry about any corners falling to us because we can grab one or two later (Dennard, Johnson and Boykin to name a few)
Both L Johnson and T Johnson. Hosley and Bently. There is a lot of CB talent.
i have a gut feeling that their will be good studs in the third round (TE, DT, OL) i can see Brandon Thompson, Allen Branch or Dwayne Allen being there, and probably reyes
i think the colts are going to get fleener at #33
A lot of people are projecting Branch to the Pats or Pack in round 1. Allen being the first TE off at 32 to the Giants Thompson and Reyes are all project middle second round picks. But there will be studs in the 3rd. Martin Randall Ta’amu Forston at DT. Winn Johnson Crawford at DE. Green Egnew TEs. There is talent for sure.
Probably. Nothing better for Luck than his College TE. The Rams have 33. Colts 34.
then what about Orsen Charles from Georgia?
He is projected in the 2 round. Allen or Fleener will be TE #1 off the board.
i really think the broncos should trade out of the first round.. that way they can get 2 or 3 good players than one
