Broncos offensive lineman Russ Hochstein and quarterback Brady Quinn are among the 66 players who have enrolled in the NFL Business Management and Entrepreneurial Program at Harvard Business School and the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
The program is one of NFL Player Engagement’s initiatives to assist players in preparing for their post-playing careers. Since the program’s inception in 2005, more than 700 players have participated.
“We are excited to continue this program which has been beneficial to so many of our players,” said NFL Vice President of Player Engagement Troy Vincent, who has attended each of the business management programs. “Over the years, the Business Management and Entrepreneurial Program has assisted players — myself included — and their families in making smarter business decisions while inspiring others to go back to school for an MBA.”
The schools will offer executive education activities in their respective areas of expertise. Taught by full-time Harvard Business School faculty members, the customized five-day program at HBS (March 19-23) aims to help participants learn to develop a business idea or plan in such areas as investments, real estate, and retailing.
The Kellogg School program (April 1-5) will focus on entrepreneurship, underscoring the fundamentals of investing and how to create and finance new ventures. Kellogg faculty members will teach classes on topics such as entrepreneurial finance, angel investing, equity versus debt capital, effective negotiating, and marketing in the nanosecond world.
Players complete an application process in order to attend the NFL Business Management and Entrepreneurial Program. Enrollment criteria includes level of education; professional business experience; interest in starting, owning, or managing a business; and leadership and community involvement.

True he did not live up to his first round hype. But he does play much better against the run than he has in the past.
wouldn’t mind getting michael bush either
If we get Manning i hope we keep Tebow. He will not cost us anything in cap $$.The scary thing about the Manning waiting is that it might cost us some FAs while we wait for him to make up his mind
Yeah and in reality we need to set apart money for him at least 20 million to be on the safe side just so we can be aggressive in fa
The we should redo his contract to keep him cuz he is costing us alot.
Ayers that is
tnalen thats what im afraid of.
I know Jax wants him really bad apparently. They may offer a lot for him. Like the 7th pick and a 2nd rounder and a later round pick. They want the money he will bring so IMO make them pay for him LOL.
Do you mean Orakpo? Not Orapo?
I like Bush but i think we will lose the bidding war
yep my bad
I wish what you think was true Alaskan but no way in hell we get a first round pick especially top ten pick for Tebow
Yeah bush would fit our run game well
Stokley was catching passes from Manning while he was here and said he was good to go.
This is the Jaguars we are talking about. They have a high value on him because he will bring in a huge fan base and more money for them. According to a team source Jax is prepared to offer pick 7 their third round and a compensatory pick next year for Tebow from what i saw on NFLN bottom line earlier today.
if thats the case trade him now even if we don’t land Manning
No because then we dont have a QB. Weber is really unproven.
Im out. got to work early tomorrow. Can’t wait to see what we get for Christmas tomorrow
Weber isnt even anywhere near proven LOL
lol didn’t he throw some 90 yarder in the preseason game? lucky a** pass lol
also he was ahead of tebow at one point lol according to some people tebow was 4th string
I dont know. I didnt get to see any of the preseason games. If he did it wasnt against starters. You cant exactly count what a QB does in preseason unless its bad. Especially 3rd and 4th strings. But thats my opinion.
OT: To answer your 6:59 post, I want Mr. Manning to come to Denver as long as we do nothing to Mr. Tebow. Mr. Tebow should ride the bench behind one of the best ever. Mr. Tebow would have no problem, I think, sitting behind Mr. Manning for a few years. I think Mr. Manning will realize that he is with a new team and he is getting old and allow Mr. Tebow to do some things in practice with team #1. Mr. Manning will do some things in the offseason to help Mr. Tebow. If we add some people to help Mr. Manning, he will definitly come. As long as we do not wait to long to start signing people and we sign as many people to help if Mr. Manning wants more people to convince him to come.
Surely you know not to believe everything the media says especially about Tebow. Here is a recent case in point. A new study shows that Tebow is not so “polarizing” as the media claims

Interesting read Texan.
Alasakan – I thought so too!
Strange things are happening…

Lol. It’s looking better for Tebow…
sndvl whats the saying? Save the best for last? LOL
Tebow always finishes strong! It must be the fourth quarter in the talks!
i just came up with a new solution that dever could take in FA.. they should pick up quality players instead.
David Hawthorne
Brandon Carr
Chris Meyers
LaRon Landry
Ben Grubbs
Draft:
trade back to pick up extra 2nd rd pick
doug Martin
Jerel Worthy(he is the 4th rated DT so he should be their at #57)
Chris Rainey
Vontaze Burfict in the 4th
oh yea and get Soliai
And we can get Mincy too
I want Marcus Thomas, Broderick Bunkley, Mario Haggan, Wesley Woodyard, Britt Colquitt, Daniel Fells and Eddie Royal all re-signed for 2012 and beyond.
we are better off without thomas, haggan, and fells.. resiging them would just be another medeocre year
I Ab-Salute-ly disagree with you. Thomas and Haggan are quality players. Haggan can play olb and de. Daniel Fells set us up for the win at the dolphins. We are no longer a mediocre team we are BIG GAME CERTIFIED.
I agree and disagree. Bunk Woodyard Colquitt Fells and Royal are the only ones worth resigning. Thomas doesnt do anything and is a horrible depth player. Haggan also.
We desperately needed Marcus Thomas at the beginning of the year. Mario Haggan is a TEAM CAPTAIN. WE NEED TO KEEP OUR LOCKER ROOM MENTALLY STRONG.
yea haggan can play multiple positions but he doesnt dominate every play.. everybody knows that we need to stop the run better so thats enough said on why we are better off without thomas (hes been here for like 5yrs now).. and for fells, notice how you just mentioned one game.. that proves my point. your opinions seem based off emotions. this is a business
@alaskan what you think about my FA and draft plans?
Our locker room would still be mentally strong without Haggan. Teams loose captains often.
Marcus Thomas and Mario Haggan are gonna slap you boys silly. They deserve to be in a BRONCO UNI. But it is a business full of overthinking average minds ready to pull the plug at any sign of distress.
i like bunkley but i would like to see soliai and worthy/reyes team up
Honestly keep woodyard, bunkley, and colquitt rest are expendable.
Well a lot can happen in a draft. With that said it was pretty good. Worthy though is a late 1st early 2nd projected player so i dont know if he will be there at 57. Poe Brockers Cox and Still are all solid 1st.
BN this is what i think.
25 we keep and take the best DT available. Preferably Cox.
Trade Knowshow + something or someone else to a team with an early second + a later round to snag Martin.
at 57 grab Boykin a CB from Georgia who is being compared to another well know Georgia Alum…..(Bailey)
With the 3rd grab Rainey. This guy can do just about anything.
In the fourth grab the best LB available Wilber Massaquoi Manning or Cole.
Grab a QB in the 5th.
Marcus never did much of anything over the last five seasons, fells had one good catch bout it, i’m 50/50 on haggan played decent but not the level we need if we want to improve instead of stay stagnant.
I want Bunkley, Haggan Woodyard Thomas Colquitt Fells and Royal all RE_SIGNED for 2012 and beyond.
Haggan and Thomas havnt really done a whole lot throughout the seasons theyve been in Denver. Fells has made a few nice catches through the season.
i can bet money that nobody is thinking about our FAs. except coulquitt, bunkley, maybe woodyard and maybe royal
Moore or Cousins at qb would be good additions
Daniel Fells had plenty of great catches. Marcus Thomas is the toughest lineman we have you guys should be ashamed of yourselves.
Haggan and Thomas are below average players and we could pick up improvments later on in FA
Yeah don’t want to lose Bunkley, and Colquitt was playing awesome thruout i think Woodyard is undervalued played great when given opportunity and yeah not sure about Royal hasn’t done much since first season
